Impossible to find a better place in Jianshui.
The rooms are located inside a historic stone and wood building that has been renovated respecting the culture of the place, creating very large rooms, in style, equipped with all possible technological comforts. The owner, Lawrence, speaks perfect English (a very rare thing to find in Jiuanshui), is a highly cultured person and can help you solve any type of problem as well as accompanying you on visits to the surroundings, making you enter the heart of Yunnan. It is the best place I have stayed in Yunnan, without a doubt. In this place I left my heart, respect and affection for Lawrence and all the staff.

The hotel is very close to the ancient city and Zitao Street. The decor is unique and elegant, and our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was rich and delicious, especially the cross-bridge rice noodles. My kids loved it, even eating a huge bowl. The small steamed chicken was also very nice. The service was attentive and considerate, and the owner was very helpful in recommending local specialties. It was a wonderful experience. Overall, my family and I had a great time on our trip to Jianshui. Highly recommended!

I'd been looking forward to my trip to Jianshui for so long, and this city is amazing! I even found such a unique hotel.
Environment: My friend and I stayed at Jun Mansion. The environment was great, parking was convenient, and there were charging stations.
Service: Entering the lobby felt like stepping back into the Republic of China era. The receptionists in their cheongsams were stunning. The service was incredibly patient and attentive.
They even arranged for us to be picked up and dropped off in an Alphard car! Wow!
It included four meals a day, which was excellent value for money. Most importantly, the food was delicious and beautifully presented. Perfect for us food-loving and photo-taking girls, haha…
Secretly, the restaurant and rooms are incredibly photogenic. The hotel thoughtfully provided cheongsams for us to take pictures with.

GGuest UserLooking at the online evaluation, I chose Fanqi B&B. On the morning of submitting the order, I received a call from the store to inform the nearby parking lot. I arrived at the B&B that night. The small door face entered the house but there was no cave. The quadruple courtyard has a history of 100 years. The store was very enthusiastic and upgraded the room for us and introduced the historical story of the small courtyard, and provided us with attractions and food guides for visiting Jianshui. The room and bathroom are also very clean, the hot water temperature is also very high, and the breakfast is very rich. Provided according to our requirements, The homestay also provides free Hanfu for taking pictures and barbecue. There are not many tourists traveling on the staggered peaks and found the feeling of home in Fanqi, which made us start a pleasant journey.

The location was perfect—peaceful, yet just a short walk or ride to Jianshui's historic old town, the Confucius Temple, and the beautiful Zhu Family Garden. The architecture and local atmosphere were charming, and we felt like we got a real taste of traditional Yunnan culture.
Our hosts also provided great suggestions for local food and sights, which made our trip even more memorable. This homestay was the perfect base for discovering the beauty and history of Jianshui.
Highly recommended—we would happily stay here again!

Environment: The B&B's design is elegant, the micro-cement is eco-friendly, and it has a quiet atmosphere.
The rooms also have slides and hot springs, and at this price point, it's a perfect family-friendly experience!
Cleanliness: The hot springs are disinfected twice daily, and the B&B owner even personally inquired about and disinfected them before check-in.
Service: I didn't realize the owner was the front desk guy at first, but the service was incredibly thoughtful, professional, and attentive. I traveled to Jianshui alone with my children, and they provided us with a safe and comfortable environment. I highly recommend this stay, and the two short days flew by. I'd definitely stay here again next time. Kudos to the owner! 👍

GGuest UserAt the end of the May Day holiday, I took my parents and children to stay at Jianshui Langshe Inn. The experience was great! The inn yard is super beautiful and the layout is exquisite. It makes people feel comfortable as soon as they step in, and the photos are also super photogenic. The room is newly renovated, clean and tidy, with all kinds of facilities, and it is safe and comfortable to live in. The boss is hospitable and the service is thoughtful and meticulous, which makes people feel like spring breeze. The meal breakfast provided by the inn is nutritious and delicious, starting a vibrant day. What's more worth mentioning is that the inn is in a very good location. It is right in the ancient city, which is very convenient for travel. The kitchen is fully equipped. Next to it is the vegetable market. We bought fresh ingredients to cook by ourselves and enjoy the fun of cooking. Adults and children are very satisfied with this stay. It is highly recommended to friends who want to relax and vacation in Jianshui!

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, with convenient parking. Hanlin Street is just downstairs, and it's surprisingly quiet, making it incredibly convenient. The room was spotlessly clean, and they even ensured it was a non-smoking room for us. It was well-equipped, and the friendly lady at the front desk went above and beyond to help us with our laundry. Enjoying the ancient city views from the hotel was delightful, making it an ideal spot for hosting friends. Breakfast was plentiful, and the afternoon tea was exquisite. The service staff were also incredibly warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Location : a 5mn walk from the Old city, and from lots of restaurants at night. very easy to find.
Staff : very nice staff! Despite not speaking English, they tried their best to please me. They helped me book a taxi, and talk to the driver. I was disappointed I was not in the building with the garden, and granted me access to the garden part.
Hotel : Congratulations to the designer, who is a VERY talented person. The design, mixing old and new, is absolutely stunning. It respects tradidtions, but with a twist.
the garden is exceptional. having the tea there was one of the highlights of my entire trip.
Rooms : they are super luxurious, huge, with marble bathrooms and Japanese toilets. But a loise of traffic noise from mine.
Only downside : this hotel is made of two buildings, which are on the other side of the street. The fish tank building has this amazing fisthtank, but it located in a VERY noisy street. My bedroom was overlooking the street, it was difficult in the morning. The garden building is super calm in an alley, all the rooms are overlooking this incredible old garden, no noise. I would recommend the owner to clearly indicate in which building the rooms are during the booking to avoid any potential disappointment upon arrival. rooms in the fishtank part are the cheapest.
Overall I was happy with my stay, it's one of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed in. But beware of the building you are booking to avoid surprises! I wish I had stayed longer.

NNoThe hotel's location is very conveniently located by the North Gate and in a smaller alley thereof, so it's not noisy at all. The decoration is beautiful, especially the inner court yard is very nice with lots of plants and flowers. The service is great! The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The room itself is nice with good amenities and nicely decorated. The only downside is that the windows to the courtyard can only be fastened through a shutter, so light and noise may still get in. Since it's an inner courtyard though, it's manageable. Around the hotel are a lot of shops and restaurants and Confucius' temple is not far. Would definetly come again!

GGuest UserIt's a hostel with a very homely environment. The manager will invite you to drink tea with him, the courtyard is a very chill area to hang out in and even spend all day to the sound of flowing water and surrounded by plants. There is a kitchen available too, and the manager brings water from the well daily for the use of the guests. The dorm was comfortable and the lower beds have curtains but the upper ones don't.
The manager sometimes organises events for the guests, such as the time when we went picking mushrooms and visited a local market from where we bought more mushrooms which were cooked for dinner, all at a very good price.
The location is excellent, just 1 minute walking to the south gate of the ancient city.
I will not hesitate to stay here again when I come back to Jianshui.

GGuest UserWe felt very welcomed right from the moment we stepped in. Front Counter staff were friendly n helpful. Kudos to 小李 & 苹 (the boss) who were very warm n hospitable.
Although lunch was optional, the boss actually called us while we were out to ask if we would like to come back for lunch, without hvg us pay for it. She said she treated us like friends coming over for a meal. We really appreciated that gesture.
Everything was great, from rooms, cleanliness to amenities, free flow of tea in the lobby.
Only not so good thing is the cobbled road leading to the rooms which made it difficult to roll our luggage. Breakfast is mostly the usual 米线 and local stuff. Its good if u don't mind their local style breakfast food.
Overall I am satisfied with this place.
