Pros: Parking was convenient. The lobby was spacious with plenty of seating areas and complimentary refreshments, showing thoughtful planning rather than just a standard setup. Overall service was excellent and friendly. The front desk staff were proactive and helpful, and housekeeping was very prompt. Breakfast service was also very well-managed. Lingguo (a staff member) provided particularly thoughtful service, always checking in on our needs. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The floor-to-ceiling balcony doors and windows, along with the sliding bathroom door, created a grand and luxurious feel. The bathroom itself was very spacious, fitted with high-end brands, and the hairdryer was excellent. The quality of the amenities made every penny feel worthwhile. The bathtub even featured a caddy for drinks and snacks, perfect for enjoying a soak, and disposable bath liners were also provided. A drying rack in the bathroom was also a thoughtful and practical addition for laundry. The room's lighting control panel was very convenient, offering several modes activated with a single touch. The view from the balcony was absolutely stunning. It's a photographer's dream – incredibly photogenic, you can capture fantastic shots without even leaving the hotel, and you'll have the view all to yourself. The night view was equally atmospheric and perfect for photos. The room entrance featured a wooden screen partition, effectively separating the entryway from the main sleeping area – a thoughtful touch that provided a nice sense of quiet and privacy. This area also had a long desk with a very comfortable chair, which was perfect for our child's online classes. The hotel offered intangible cultural heritage experiences, which needed to be booked a day in advance; I didn't get a chance to try them due to time constraints. However, I did use the complimentary drink voucher provided by the hotel for a tea house just a two-minute walk away. On a hot afternoon, I met up with friends and family there. The tea house was wonderfully air-conditioned, had beautiful window views, offered private rooms, and even had an adorable resident cat. I enjoyed it so much that I went back for two consecutive afternoons. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Yuehe Ancient Town. For local cuisine, I highly recommend 'Zou Da Xian' (the main branch is less than a five-minute walk from the hotel). There's also one of the area's top Japanese restaurants right behind the hotel. Overall, this hotel's location is incredibly convenient for me, and I would definitely choose it again in the future. Cons: There was no room service menu in the room. I suppose guests here might not typically use room service. I tried calling the restaurant to order, but it wasn't possible, so I had to go downstairs to eat. This was quite perplexing to me; perhaps in the era of food delivery apps, everyone just opts for takeout. Another minor drawback was that the breakfast selection was exactly the same for both days, which was a first for me. To be honest, the breakfast was delicious enough to motivate me to get up early, and I especially loved the small wontons. However, I was surprised that the menu didn't change at all over two days. There was no capsule coffee machine in the room, and the breakfast coffee was quite subpar.

The Nanhu Hotel is truly excellent! First, let's talk about the environment – its garden-style design is absolutely captivating. Pavilions and towers are scattered harmoniously, the lake is clear, surrounded by lush greenery and ornamental rockeries. Walking through it feels like strolling in a classical garden, creating a wonderfully poetic ambiance. The architecture is also very distinctive, with white walls and dark-tiled roofs embodying traditional Chinese charm, yet some areas incorporate modern glass elements. This blend of ancient and contemporary is perfectly executed, making it incredibly photogenic. As for the accommodation experience, the room was very comfortable, well-equipped, and modern. The bedding was exceptionally soft, ensuring I had a wonderful night's sleep. Even the bath bags provided were of high quality. The service was also very thoughtful; from check-in to daily needs, the staff were consistently warm and attentive. We arrived at 11:30 AM. After completing check-in, the room wasn't quite ready yet. I spoke with the front desk lady, asking if we could enter early as our child needed a diaper change. She initially suggested the baby care room. I then explained that we also needed to warm food for our infant, which is when she agreed to let us in early. This was understandable, as the hotel was fully booked (we even saw housekeeping staff still cleaning rooms along the corridor at 7 PM). Later, during check-out, we faced another slightly awkward situation: our baby was asleep. I'd seen reviews mentioning no late check-outs, but I decided to call the front desk with a hopeful, 'just-in-case' attitude. They initially offered a 30-minute extension. I explained that our baby would likely sleep for over an hour, and they then graciously agreed to extend it until 1 PM, suggesting I call again if we still needed more time after that. We eventually checked out around 1:40 PM, and they even presented us with a farewell gift 🎁. Regarding breakfast, the queue was quite long when we arrived around 8:30 AM. When it was our turn, we were initially assigned an outdoor table. I mentioned we had a small baby and asked if we could wait for the next round to be seated indoors. They quickly and kindly arranged an indoor table for us, which was much more convenient for getting food. I also received a large latte. At the end, I asked if I could take it to my room if I couldn't finish it, and they readily agreed. The restaurant's food selection was quite rich, though it would be even better if there were more options suitable for young babies. I genuinely felt that while some regulations might be rigid, everyone was willing to adjust based on our actual needs. It’s a truly warm and accommodating hotel. Upon departure, a young concierge wearing glasses was also incredibly enthusiastic and proactive. My husband drove the car to the entrance, and I was holding our child. He immediately opened the car door for us and helped with our luggage 👏. We only stayed one night this time, but we'll definitely bring our child back for a second visit. I hope they'll add more play areas for children.

The room is super super super super super super expectations! ! ! The location is absolutely excellent! Cost-effective nothing to say 👍 There is also a hotel's own free parking lot 👌 In addition to no breakfast, there are many choices of shops along the street on the left and right sides of the hotel downstairs, and there is really no need to provide breakfast 😄 The service is also in place ～ will not actively disturb ～, but any demand response is very timely ✌️ Take your parents to the Nanhu Scenic Area Huijingyuan Wharf and take a boat to the lake center island to see the red boat and the rain building; Nanhu Tiandi Shopping Center to eat; that is quite convenient! It is still a more pet-friendly item hahaha (😆 we just have to consciously not add burden to the hotel cleaning work) Anyway, I will definitely stay here in Jiaxing in the future YYDS 🤙🤙🤙 highly recommended 😎

A superb value hotel. Highly recommended. Newly renovated, the hotel is stylish and refined. Even during the May Day holiday, the prices were acceptable. The hotel is quite spacious, which helped disperse the crowds, so it never felt noisy. The business twin room, at 40 square meters, is generously sized and very comfortable. The garden outside the gym is also quite beautiful. Cross the bridge directly opposite the hotel, and in about 5 minutes, you'll reach Haogu Pagoda. Climbing the pagoda offers panoramic views of the entire South Lake. There's a beautiful greenway around South Lake, with weeping willows and clear blue waters, making for a very pleasant stroll. Turning right from the hotel, a 10-minute walk brings you to the Zicheng Ruins, with the Grand Cathedral right next door. A tram station is conveniently located by the cathedral. Xiexi Street is located behind the hotel, and a 15-minute walk will bring you to the famous Shaomai eateries there. Just to the right of the hotel, there's an ice cream shop. Their pecan ice cream is delicious, and their lemon-chili flavored ice cream is surprisingly amazing. Also nearby are a Wufangzhai specialty store and a cozy cat cafe. The hotel breakfast, priced at a very reasonable 38 RMB per person, offers great value. It includes live cooking stations for noodles and wontons, as well as fruit salads, freshly brewed coffee, and kid-friendly options like cereal and yogurt. Yuehe Street is also within easy reach. Hotel parking is free, and there are ample spaces, even during long holidays. Overall, highly recommended!

This stay experience was great! A cup of green tea in Atour Village, from the warm and professional reception at the front desk to the timely response of the room service, made me feel intimate. The late night porridge at night is also delicious, the room is warm and comfortable, the facilities and equipment are well maintained, the bedding is soft and skin-friendly, and I sleep super fragrant all night. The room was cleaned spotlessly, and the details were all attentive. The surrounding transportation is convenient, eating and traveling are very convenient. The breakfast is rich in variety, Chinese and Western styles, fresh ingredients and good taste. Check out and send water, next time you come here, you will definitely choose this hotel!

My son and I stayed at the Marriott Jiaxing's Next-Gen Gaming Room, and it was an absolute godsend for gamers! As soon as we entered, we were drawn to the PS5 console and controllers, paired with a large-screen TV. The game library was extensive, featuring everything from popular AAA titles to classic multiplayer games. The low network latency was a pleasant surprise, making online team play smooth and lag-free throughout. Beyond the gaming, Marriott's quality didn't disappoint. The room was spacious and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. After a long gaming session, we'd collapse into bed and fall asleep instantly. The bathroom's water pressure and temperature were just right, making for a wonderfully refreshing shower that washed away all fatigue. As for breakfast, the selection was diverse, living up to Marriott's usual high standards, especially the Western pastries and bread, which were my absolute favorite! The staff were incredibly friendly and very accommodating, thoughtfully reminding us about the gaming room's usage guidelines. Overall, the experience was absolutely fantastic. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Jiaxing. Gamers, this is a must-book!

Best hotel I've stayed in my whole 2 years in China, outstanding, I'd go back to Jiaxing just to stay again. Spotless throughout, huge room with huge super comfy bed, best shower, AC/kettle/fluffy towels/hair dryer and whatever else one could possibly need is there and it's all brand new and of excellent quality. Super welcoming staff, amazing buffet breakfast which is a great bonus especially in China. Perfect location, walking distance to the lake and next to lots of bus stops. So easy to find, the bus from the train station stops across the street.
