Hotel berhampiran Mansion of Guerrilla General, Jiayuguan

Cozy hotel. The public areas are well designed. Good for great photos. A lot of possibilities for games: table football, pool table. Very friendly staff. Very clean. Unfortunately it is located next to a very sandy construction site, in an area where a lot of houses seem to be new, but a bit worn down.

We stayed at Ji Hotel Urumqi Tianshan Airport few nights ago and were so impressed with the hotel’s theme. We stayed at Ji hotel again in Jiayuguan and it had exactly the same theme, minimalist and zen style. We really had a good rest here and feel calmed. All staffs at Ji hotel Jiayuguan are very nice, polite and helpful. Ladies who clean our room was very kind and gave us more drinking water due to dry weather. Laundry machine also were cleaned regularly. Very impressed with the attention to details and services 👍👍👍

The hotel is situated about 20minutes away from the train station. we got in quite early and they allow us to check in. they even upraded us to a bigger room. swrvice is amazing. they have assisted us with the travel plan way before we arrive. that helps with our planning. the cleanliness is above acceptable range. their laundry room is great although i didnt get to use it. we still had some cloths oeft for the next journey so we dont really need to use it. best thing is that they provide a great individual packet of soap for washing. The front desk staff was so friendly that they even helped us booked a cab driver to bring us around to all the main attractions. That helped us save a lot of time trying to get the didi around town. Going in to the places of interest is fine, problem is getting a car to come out. So we decided to book for the full day. The breakfast was really satisfying. Full line of food for breakfast and enough for all choices of travelers to choose from. Would definitely recommend the hotel. A great and clean place to stay for sure.

The 5-road junction in front of the hotel might look intimidating but my room facing it was quiet and fine. It was in fact convenient for call-cabs, walks to nearby restaurants, pharmacy, convenient shops etc. The main commercial street & Jingtie Food Centre is about 5-10mins walk away. Very helpful staff for travel enquiries- book a taxi through them for the circuit tour of the top 3 sights (Jiayuguan Fort, Hanging Great Wall & The First Beacon Tower of the Great Wall) - free and easy 5-hr plus return trip.

자위관 호텔(嘉峪关宾馆,Jiayuguan Hotel :관청 쓰처우즈루 문화 보란위안,关城丝绸之路文化博览园店, Guancheng Silk Road Culture Expo Park)은 4성급 호텔로 가욕관역에서 6km 떨어져 있으며 화차점에서 4,15로 공교차가 가욕관 시내를 연결해주며 4로 공교차를 타고 주강빈관(酒钢宾馆,JIU GANG BIN GUAN) 버스정류장에서 하차하면 됩니다. 가욕관을 대표하는 4성급 호텔답게 객실은 넓고 쾌적하며 청소 상태 양호하고 어메니티도 잘 갖추어져 있습니다. 직원들도 매우 친절하고 외국인도 의사 소통에 아무런 문제가 없습니다. 가성비도 뛰어납니다. 내가 가욕관을 다시 방문한다면 반드시 이 호텔을 다시 방문할 것입니다. 좋은 호텔입니다. 엄지 척! 별 다섯입니다☆☆☆☆☆

Very nice and modern hotel. Modern and big room and spacious bathroom. Close to a very nice park and a shopping mall and night market. Service was excellent. I do not speak Chinese, some employees spoke a little English but those who didn’t used translators to try to assist me. Employee number 5 at the front desk was especially helpful arranged tea, wine and taxi to the train station for me. She is excellent at her job. This was first hotel I stayed in China and it was on very high level. A very good value for money

I like the lobby amenities. They have coffee mahcine, soya bean deink, fridge, table, working table with plugs available. Location is near the Datang food street. The room looks very new, they have a fancy intercom to contact the reception. They provided Laifen hairdryer which is good quality. Rooms are generally clean but i think the cleaner forgot to clear the lump of hair at the shower. One thing i dont like, they provide disposable towels which are very thin and flimsy. Maybe its for hygiene purpose but its not nice to use. Walking to the room is like a maze, they have long corridors and many turns. I counted, i turned corner 8 times to reach my room 😅 not a big problem but if you carry alot of big bags, it might get tiring, depending how far your room is.

Good location near major sites and restaurants are nearby and walkable to Datang food street. The reception Staff and those serving breakfast are fantastic. The food is varied. The Queen business room is sizeable but I found the shower room needs hooks to hang my clothes and draining can be problematic if I use a lot of water. The air conditioner was not working apparently they were doing some refurbishing. Overall the location, breakfast. Room size and staff give a good value

Clean and spacious. Some eateries and massage salons around the area. Shower area separate from toilet. There was a water cut one morning which the hotel didn't inform us, though it was a scheduled maintenance. They restored water supply when we called up the front desk.

Overall, decent stay. The hotel has a great aesthetic to it, although it can be a bit dark and dim at night. The room lights match this aesthetic and are pretty dim as well. The room itself was a bit on the smaller side, with a bathroom door that doesn't give much room for you to enter between its swing range and the toilet. The bathroom door did not seal well and water got all over the floor. There isn't any space in the bathroom to put your stuff, and only the shower door handle to hang your towel. There isn't a strong cigarette smell in the lobby or room which is a pleasant surprise compared to most chinese hotels, only a slight lingering smell in the hallways. Breakfast which was included was very nice. The hotel is on a street with decent amount of restaurants and shops. Location wise I don't think there's much to do in the city and one would mostly travel by taxi or didi anyway. The staff were very pleasant and one of them even let me stay in my room until 4pm without charge since my train wasn't departing until the evening.
