Excellent and very clean! The facilities are new, and the room is spacious with great hygiene. I didn't want to leave! The staff were very helpful, even assisting with luggage to my room. The front desk lady was also lovely. The breakfast was plentiful, and there are good restaurants in the building too.

Location is good, off the Main Street and is quiet. You get to stay in the clouds at 50+ to 70+ levels Their staff are helpful and friendly Rooms are big and comfortable Top choice for me in Jinan

Honestly, there's practically no service here. The hotel bar is tiny, smaller than a primary school desk. It's really no different from a 300-yuan fast-food hotel, just a bit taller, that's all.

The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was excellent. The afternoon tea was also a nice touch, and the service was attentive and warm. The hotel offers a fantastic view for sunset! It's also quite close to the Provincial Museum, and getting to various attractions downtown by taxi is very convenient. The surrounding amenities are also great. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit.

This was my first business trip to Jinan, so I chose a slightly nicer hotel, and boy, was it a 'surprise'! For a room costing over 1200, they didn't bother to ask about guest preferences like early check-in or smoking/non-smoking, and the room's cleanliness was a complete mess. The doorman/security guard at the entrance was also inconsistently present. What's even more ridiculous is that for a room at this price point, mini-bar items like Coke and orange juice are still charged. I have to ask, why is it that for items that are equally charged, Nongfu Spring has a price tag but the others don't? And why isn't the price tag inside the mini-bar, but instead tucked away in the free tea compartment on the first shelf? This doesn't even compare to Four Seasons or Grand Hyatt, but even against other hotels in its category, it's just mind-numbingly bad. Instead of playing silly games with guests, they should focus on doing their basic job well. Terrible!

The bedding was comfortable, the room was clean, and the service was excellent. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with a great mix of Western and Chinese options. The front desk upgraded us to an executive floor with a fantastic view. I would definitely come again.

Executive Privileges: For an executive room, I was surprised there was no welcome fruit, let alone the chocolates I'd seen others share online. The afternoon tea selection was truly disappointing; it’s genuinely the first time I've encountered spicy peanuts and gummy bears in a 5-star executive lounge. The coffee machine's cappuccino setting didn't dispense properly for the cups, and the staff weren't familiar with its operation either, so I just ended up with two cups of hot milk. The only redeeming quality was the late check-out, which I appreciated. Minibar: Limited selection, nothing noteworthy. Even the single bottle of Evian came with an additional charge. Facilities: Overall, the room facilities met 5-star expectations, but there was a significant design flaw. The rubber seal on the bathroom door (Room 6925) created so much resistance when closing that I almost got trapped inside – this definitely needs adjustment. Additionally, the small square bathroom door handle was incredibly difficult to operate with soapy hands. Ambiance: The view from the window was truly lovely, and my positive impression is largely due to the overall design. The swimming pool lockers and public areas were very clean, which was great. Service: I called for extra bottles of water, but after an hour, they still hadn't arrived. It took a second call and another long wait before they were finally delivered. Cleanliness: No issues.

It´s a great hotel. My room was on the 66th floor, with stunning views. The bed very comfortable.

The hotel's facilities are excellent, and the views are amazing. However, the service left much to be desired. There was no proactive communication before check-in. Upon arrival, no one guided me to the check-in area; I had to ask to find out it was on the 52nd floor. Even on the 52nd floor, I received no directions to the front desk. I had to wander around to find it, only to discover all four counters empty and the staff out of sight, making me believe no one was there to assist. Interestingly, during check-out, there was someone to guide me. This poor check-in experience created a terrible first impression of the hotel. I regret not choosing the InterContinental instead. It's also quite far from major tourist attractions, making it more suitable for business travelers. On a positive note, the concierge who assisted with the car door and luggage was very proactive and deserves praise. However, all other staff, particularly at the front desk, were utterly disappointing! While someone did contact me after check-out to inquire about my stay, it was simply too late. With no communication before or during my stay, how can guests have a truly good experience if feedback is only sought after they've already left?

Staying at the Kempinski Jinan was absolutely worth it! Every penny was well spent. The lobby is grand and spacious, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the mattress was so inviting I never wanted to leave it. The staff were consistently friendly, quick to respond to requests, and incredibly efficient. The breakfast spread was extensive, offering both Chinese and Western options, ensuring a satisfying and delicious start to the day. If budget isn't an issue, don't even think twice; you're guaranteed a truly delightful and comfortable stay.

This was my first visit to Jinan, and the hotel, located in a new district, impressed me with its cleanliness and tidiness. The overall environment within the hotel, from its decor to the staff, was excellent. However, during my two-day stay, I also observed some less positive 'situations' – there were many children constantly coming and going. I believe management might want to consider addressing this.

Overall, a very disappointing experience. It took an eternity just to navigate the winding underground parking garage. After finally parking, we had to take two different elevators to reach the front desk, and then another one to get to our room – it was such a hassle! On top of that, the front desk service was incredibly slow; even when it was my turn, it still took a painful 15 minutes just to check in. But the most severe issue was getting diarrhea after eating a meal provided by the hotel! The steak was definitely not fresh and excessively greasy.
