I don't think there is a bad Four Seasons anywhere / The Westcliff checked every box. My partner and I were there for 3 nights / the staff is remarkable. Every single interaction is met with a smile and graciousness that you rarely find these days. It starts with the bellman and front desks warm welcoming and carries over to every single employee. The head concierge Ms Mpho put together 2 days of tours that hit all the highlights of JNB with top notch drivers. She made wonderful suggestions for restaurants and secured the bookings. There is a reason for all the compliments this property receives. The breakfast buffet is one of the best we have ever had at a hotel / the wait staff is engaging and energetic / Basil the wine steward knowledgeable and a ”10”

The customer service us excellent...from the reception right through the whole stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean. They have hot and cold breakfast options. No room service though! The staff are great, very accommodating, and very engaging. They are also very concerned of my safety (they always remind me to take care when going out). Saying that, the location might be challenging for those who are mindful of their safety. I am advised not to leave after dark, even just going to KFC which is just 300 meters away (I appreciate the concern of the staff). No wifi too.
