Nicest place I stayed on my trip, and pet-friendly. Because I had a dog, they offered a first floor room and upgraded to a suite. Everything was new, clean and quiet, unlike most of my other stays at other hotels. Left early so can't comment on the breakfast food.

Stayed at this location prior to renovation, hotel has been completely transformed. Staff was polite and helpful, would recommend to anyone looking for a budget friendly hotel option in Joliet illinois.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was quiet and clean. The perfect spot to commute from easy access to interstate. This was our first time in Illinois and the hotel and staff helped to make it a good experience. Will definitely stay again next time we are in town.

Let me say I loved it! The favorite part were the people who work there and 2nd the jacuzzi! Beds were comfy; slightly firm for me but comfy and very clean. I was there for a Celebration of Life Ceremony and the people there helped my brother and me; my brother and his wife also stayed and enjoyed it. Pool water was cool; I'm blessed with a pool in FL so used to it being a little warmer but the jacuzzi was awesome; nice jets and temperature was great and relaxing.1 Needed that. I don't have names handy so I hope to call corporate or something and ask them to be recognized for Outstanding service. I do remember the wonderful manager I spoke with named Beth; she was great and someone I would proudly work for if I was not a retired Air Force veteran and I lived there. But,I highly recommend it. The breakfast was ok; I'm a little boujee on breakfast. The board was rented for $265 with tax for 24 hours!!! We had our Celebration of Life ceremony for my Mama that I miss dearly who passed away the day before I arrived there; I kept my composure when I was not alone until I got to the last day; stayed for 5 days. I was in tears checking out but I just wanted to say they treated me like a queen and I'd definitely stay there again.

PPengguna TetamuWhile my family and I were having breakfast the morning of Aug. 21st, there was a conversation going on at the table next to us. It was between the owner and/or manager of the hotel and the contractor doing the renovation work for him. It was quite clear that the owner/manager was refusing payment to the contractor. It was clear to us during this conversation that the owner/manager was reneging on part the agreement. The contractor was simply asking for a partial payment that the owner/manager had promised him and now won't pay. Make no mistake, we heard the entire conversation. We felt badly for the contractor whose crew seemed to be doing a good job. We were there for 4 days and 3 nights and the work going on was of no inconvenience to us for our stay there. I don't believe I will be staying there again, even as nice as our stay, and as pleasant the staff were. I am also going to report this incident to Marriott. I think they should know about it. Please don't try to give me an explanation concerning this situation. It should have never happened in front of guests.

PPengguna TetamuStopped at this location for one night. Clean, nice room. Food was good at restaurant and the service there was excellent. Had to be up and on the road early the next day. However, there was a wedding at the hotel that night and their party continued below my room outside at the fire pit. Was awakened at 1:45am with loud voices that I thought were next door. It was the party at the fire pit, 5 floors down. Thought it might wrap up by 2am. At 4am I finally called the front desk to complain. Ruby at the desk, told me that she was unaware of this and she would go out and tell them to stop. At 4:40am, there were no signs that the party was ending. Since I couldn’t sleep, I got up and at 6:15am when I checked out, there were still 8 people at the fire pit with a case of Bud Light continuing to party. Garbage cans overflowing. No one was telling them to leave, so why should they stop? For $269/night, this is not what I anticipated. If you book this IHG, I highly recommend getting a room on the opposite side of the building and on the 5th floor.

Recently stayed here over New Year’s Eve weekend. Upon arriving at the hotel the front desk staff was very friendly. Anytime I would come back to the hotel I was always greeted with a smile and a hello. Check in was easy as was check out. Hotel was very clean. Beds were comfortable. Hallway noise would have been a little bit of an issue but I sleep with a sound machine so it was okay. Breakfast was hot and coffee is provided 24 hours. Much better than the coffee maker in the room.

PPengguna TetamuNo frills, nothing fancy here. Standard clean hotel close to I-80. It’s a place to shower, sleep, have some breakfast and leave. There is a gym, I don’t remember if there is a pool (in case you’re into that). Plenty of places to eat lunch and dinner, including a decent pub-style restaurant right across the parking lot. Prices are fair. Overall good stay.

Zero out of zero would never recommend to visit this hotel when I got in my room it was a terrible smell. It was a little bit cold so I turned on the heater. The heater smelled like it was burning so I shut it off and then I got hot so I turned on the AC thinking maybe it might be different And all it was doing was lingering a very moldy smell, and when I went to go look at the AC, there was black marks along the lining of the AC. When I went to go check out the following morning the front desk lady who always works mornings was very rude extremely rude. Wouldn’t even allow me to say anything and asked if I smoked in the room. I told her no which I wouldn’t even have time to because I woke up late and left my doctors appointment which is why I was out there , so I hurried up and pack my belongings and she went to check the room so I can get my deposit back told me there was a lot of smoke in the room I said maybe it’s from your AC unit because it smells wouldn’t even allow me to finish speaking I have asthma I can’t even smoke. And on top of it she said that she’s been having numerous complaints about it smelling like **** in there and she’s been hearing it for days. I stayed one night and I checked in roughly around 6:00 PM left came back right my belongs in around 10 PM extremely rude staff, not accommodating whatsoever. There was a huge red stain in the middle of the room. I found a used feminine product behind the bed. I had to change the lightbulb from the top of the bathroom sink and put it in the lamp in order to see in the room would never recommend. Extremely rude lady every time I visit she tells me I’m not allowed to come back and this time I’ve just had enough this by far was the worse room I’ve been in and was completely discussed and bc I do not have a car I had no option but to stay till the following mornjng. Never will I visit again. Someone needs to check her or fire her for her attitude and accusations. It’s very very extremely rude to accuse someone of smoking the other day there when I wasn’t even there then cut me off when I try to say I stayed one night.
