Great base to explore the area!! Spent a lovely couple of days wandering around Kamakura. Really enjoyed the cleanliness and spaciousness of this hostel, as well as its proximity to the train station. Also the Tv let us use our own Netflix account which was nice

I met the manager of the hotel in the lobby as we checked in and he explained that he had been a senior manager at the imperial Hotel in Tokyo for 30 years. He’s probably why the hotel is in such good condition. Although there are some nicks in the scratches, like in many older hotels in Japan, this one has been nicely renovated 15 years ago. It’s on the busy road, but you don’t hear anything because the construction is so solid. We stayed in a tatami room, which was lovely. The futon cushion and sheets were very very comfortable and nice. There is a lot of beautiful flower arrangements in the lobby and elsewhere. I debated between giving four stars and five stars but I gave the latter due to the very attractive price. Most of the clientele seem to be on the older side but we saw some young families too.

The entire building is a wooden Western-style house. The staff are very friendly and speak fluent English, the room is also very clean. However, the bed is made of iron frames, no matter whether you sleep on the upper or lower bunk, it will make noise when you turn over slightly while sleeping (free earplugs are provided). There is no curtain to cover the bed, so privacy is lacking. In addition, if you live on the second floor, you have to go downstairs to take a shower, and the house is made of wood, so there will be some echoes when walking outside the room. The lobby is very comfortable and atmospheric. If you like to experience this style of house, would recommend to live for a short period!

Quick fix for my one night overstay in Kamakura. I arrived late in Narita and came over to Kamakura just before evening began. A short distance away from the main train station, Omachi Junxion came as a life savior for me. As I needed a place to sleep for the night.

Fantastic location in Hase area short walk from the historic Enoden electric train, and from the Hasedera temple. Within walking distance to popular surfing beach. In a quiet pedestrian alley filled with quaint international restaurants. Has its own cute cafe/bar & separate restaurant each with excellent food. Has a darling “living room” with hand grinder for coffee. Very nice owner and well-kept facility with lots of charm.

Cozy, comfy little guesthouse run by a super-nice and engaging young man who is a ”modern Samurai” - dresses the part, super knowledgable about the area, very socially engaged with helping developmentally disabled kids in the area. I wish I'd had more time to stay and talk with him, he seemed like such a great guy. He'll even make you breakfast! Convenient location (2 min walk to a bus stop and 10 min walk to Kamakura station). It's a small place, I think it only has two rooms. If you want a ”hotel” environment then look elsewhere, but if you want a personal, homey experience, I recommend it highly and want to come back.

Далековато от станции и магазинов ,но близко к пляжу. Красивое старое здание,есть все необходимое. Дверь закрывается в 23.00 , и на ней нет кодового замка, т.е нельзя опоздать и это неудобно.Не понравится персонал ,в сравнении с другими местами в Японии недружелюбный.

地理位置不錯，離海很近，步行五分鐘羅森和拉麪店，視野有一半看到海，房間裏面有點黴味。
