It was a very comfortable and conducive environment I liked the hospitality from the security reception and restaurant the services are really fantastic The hygiene is 100 percent and the food was really delicious plus the breakfast 🥰🥰Speke hotel is really a very nice hotel I really felt at home

An iconic hotel beautifully situated in lovely gardens and with kind and friendly staff in typical Ugandan manner. The rooms although dates were ok as well. The gym also seemed fine. Those are the positives. The food - apart from breakfast which was good - was uniformly below average at really premium prices. The rooms only have a UK / Ugandan plug and one USB slot so you need an adapter for which you need to sign a deposit. The worst part of my stay was that I had the misfortune of staying in an even numbered room which faced onto the gardens and dining areas. This means that sleep before midnight is not really an option as the music from downstairs was very loud. There also seems to be a problem with the number of rooms had to service since my room was often not serviced in the day or I had a very apologetic staff member knocking on my door late afternoon or evening to service the room. In general I think there are better places to stay in Kampala. If you do stay her and would like to sleep - insist on an odd numbered room that faces away from party central and eat in one of the lovely restaurants Kampala has to offer - it truly is worth the Uber ride and the venture out.

I spent three weeks at the Hotel Africana and Convention Centre and did not get bored as I thought I would since this is a big establishment where an individual can easily get lost or forgotten. The rooms are spacious and well-furnished. The bathroom is large and well-lit, though my room had a bathtub. The staff were simply the best. The Head Chef, Mr. George recognized me as a long-term guest and made provisions to serve me fried plantains periodically. The staff at the front desk were welcoming and very helpful. The Conference facilities were top notch and the service provided excellent.

The hotel is in a strategic location, be sure to ask for the golf course side to avoid noise from traffic. Interior of the rooms is perfect, nice bathtub, warm water, hair dryer and carpet. The only annoying bit was ordering for food via intercom, Restuarant respondent wasn’t friendly and seemed to struggle with English. I asked to use the wine glasses from the bar but was asked to pay 10,000 for using the wine glasses. During the COVID curfew time (7pm), you will struggle to access an open supermarket coz it’s CBD area. I would surely check-in anytime. Price was amazingly low coz I booked online at trip.com

I really enjoyed my stay at the Serena. I've become accustomed to the comfort and service at many of their chain and Kampala is up there as one of the best. The hotel is located dead centre with very good security.

Well trained professional staff. Very warm and welcoming. Great ambience and location of the hotel with easy access to the city center and expressway to airport. The rooms are well stocked with amenities and great Indian food dishes at the restaurant. Good character with diversity of people having a great time and most importantly it’s safe security wise.

Excellent stay. I loved the spacious rooms. Staff very friendly. Special recognition to Benjamin, Derrick at the front office. Keep up the good work! I also liked the gym experience. Breakfast selection was excellent. The quality of the other meals was very good. Thanks for the experience.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. What I love the most about this hotel is the high level of hygiene. The rooms, bath rooms and hallways are so clean, I came across with the same rates but very untidy. kudos to the management of Namayiba Park Hotel I will definitely visit again
