We had a wonderful stay at Holiday Inn Resort Kandooma Maldives. The resort is very clean and well maintained, which made our stay comfortable and relaxing from the moment we arrived. The staff were friendly and helpful, always greeting us with warm smiles and making sure we had everything we needed. Their hospitality truly made a difference and made us feel very welcome. The food selection was impressive, with a good variety catering to different ethnic tastes. No matter what you prefer, there is always something delicious to enjoy. One of the biggest highlights of this resort is the fishing experience. They offer both sunrise and sunset fishing trips, as well as private chartered boats. The absolute selling point is that the chef will cook one fish you catch for free, prepared beautifully and incredibly fresh — a truly unforgettable experience. Overall, Holiday Inn Kandooma is a fantastic choice for a Maldives getaway, especially for those who enjoy fishing, great food, and warm hospitality. Highly recommended! 🌴🎣

The service provided from the hotel was very good! They pick you up from the airport and help you with luggage to the transfer boat. It was a short and smooth ride (about 40 mins) to the hotel. All the staff at the hotel was friendly and we didn’t have any complaints. Everywhere is walkable within the island and there is WiFi in most areas. We don’t even need to get SIM card. There were 3 restaurants available but we found the Asian Kitchen the best of them all! We returned to dine many times. Overall it was a comfortable and memorable trip! Loved it!

This is the only hotel on the island; no locals live there. It's a 40-minute boat ride from Male Airport, and free round-trip transfers are available for stays of more than 5 days. The staff is very friendly, with Russian speakers. There are two girls at reception, working shifts. Tamerlan, the waiter, is always on duty, and there's a girl at the food pickup point (not always). They help with everything. There are no problems with food, everything is delicious. The system for different types of food is complicated. For those who have breakfast, everything is clear: breakfast is only available in one restaurant, which is a buffet. Everything else is paid for, and the prices are steep. We had full board, and we could eat for free at the buffet restaurant and at the cafe nearby - part of the menu is free, but most of it is for a fee, and the Asian restaurant is always for a fee. We didn't figure it out right away, but then we found out everything. Full board includes drinks in the morning - water, juices (piqueted, but tasty), tea, coffee, and at lunch and dinner, without juices (water, tea, coffee). The service is good, but you need to understand right away that everything is very measured, no one is in a hurry, accept it and relax. We had a one-story beach house, we really liked it. There are also two-story houses, but they have a metal staircase from the street to the top, so not so much for the elderly and children. And there are also houses on the water, but this is a matter of taste, we went to them in the evenings to watch sharks, they swim there after sunset, some people really like it. The room has everything and even a flashlight to go watch the sharks. There are plenty of towels in the room, robes, shampoos, creams in large bottles (no brushes or toothpaste). Towels, masks, fins, life jackets, boards, inflatable boats are free to rent on the beach. The pool is excellent and warm. The ocean is gorgeous, on one side of the island where the beaches are calm, and on the other it is stormy. We really enjoyed our vacation, we stayed for 11 nights, we did not want to leave. But this is a relaxing vacation, so you won't be entertained by animators. And I almost forgot – there's a play area and a children's pool for the little ones.

This isn't our first time on this island. Overall, it's not bad for a 4-star hotel. However, I found the breakfasts to be rather basic. We were pleasantly surprised that diving was free for us. There's a wide selection of water activities, including for children, which makes this island a nice contrast to others.

How can I put it? Holiday Inn is a well-established hotel that is absolutely trustworthy. The bedding, cleanliness, and tea set are all excellent. But there are two things that touched me this time. One is the food, which is definitely the best of all the hotels I have ever eaten. Even my picky daughter praised it again and again. The buffet every day is so delicious that I can't get enough of it. It's really great! Another point is that the service is really high-quality. This snorkeling experience is still fresh in my memory! Special thanks to the coach who accompanied us and encouraged me to go down, which gave me a new experience! I really want to stay here forever.

Booked 4 nights with a package. The 2-story beachfront villa with sea view is very nice. It is very close to the sea and can be entered in 5 seconds🌊. It is very quiet and the scenery is good. 2 adults and 2 children stayed, and the breakfast of the older child was supplemented. Children's lunch and dinner are free and there is their own children's menu. There are many children's and parent-child activities. Overall, it is a resort hotel suitable for families and children. The main beach of the hotel is not very long, but the sand is very fine; there are two or three small beaches for snorkeling and paddleboarding, and the facilities are free; there are four free snorkeling trips a week; there happened to be free deep diving activities, and my friends also participated. There are rich activities at sea, I saw nurse sharks, dolphins, manta, and shipwrecks, caught the largest fish and the most delicious grouper so far (dinner that day🐟), and checked in the most beautiful tailing beach! It's worth the trip, a wonderful life experience, and a cost-effective resort hotel!

The hotel does not have a housekeeper. You can contact the front desk with the hotel's exclusive app to handle related matters. The hotel's environment is quite standard. If you want to experience the style of Madai, it is strongly recommended to go out to sea, especially the wreck safari, which is 199$ per person, including three snorkeling sites (sharks, turtles, and fish schools in the background of the shipwreck), and lunch on the sandbar + feeding manta rays. It doesn't matter if you don't bring a gopro. You can add 40$ for the sea activities, and the accompanying crew will take photos and videos for you. And this price is not per person, but per room, which is still quite cost-effective😁
