Overall a bad stay with good hospitality!!
Had booked for 2 days but checked out on the 1 st day!
The room is quite old and not that appealing !!
Have a good view but personally dint like it

Nice hotel on the top of hill. The room was very spacious and sufficiently clean. The view from the room was also nice. The staff was polite and welcoming. We had buffet breakfast and it was good in terms of variety and service, also tried dinner on one of the days and it was good too. They have a small pool, I wouldn't rate it too high, but not bad, as mentioned by other traveler, seems they rent it to school in the afternoon, we did see bus of children on one of the afternoons. Didn't matter to us as we had gone out anyway. Overall our experience was good.

Staff are very nice. High on the hill with a wonderful view, but for a traveler from north America or Europe be aware that the outlets here are Russian-style and your travel adapter will probably not work. The room we had, and the hotel in general, seems out of date and in need of a remodel. We saw a leach moving around in the shower drain! Uuugh. Tried to explain that to the hotel staff but the language barrier prevented us from really getting the info across. That said, the dinner buffet was nice and we swam at night in the pool (which is shared with another hotel). If we went back, we'd pick a different hotel for the price because of the lack of suitable power outlets.

This is branch of hotel Topaz, which is located on a bit higher elevation and is better than this one. The rooms are big enough and staff very cooperative and friendly. The food menu is good and from Topaz terrace one can have a good view of the sunrise.

Very old and outdated. Colors chipped off, wires exposed. Old Air conditioner made terrible noise. We were offered choice of set menu or buffet. We chose set menu but it was a catastrophe. Food offered was from another hotel. It was cold, tasteless and didn't match the menu. Please avoid this hotel if you want good holiday

The views from this hotel are absolutely stunning, but that's as far as it goes. Our room, although a good size was very shabby. The settee had bad water marks on it and the net curtains were also badly marked. The coffee table had seen better days. It looked as if hot plates had been placed on it at some point. We decided to go to the pool next morning, but the pool is rented out to a school every day of the week. Sometimes only in the mornings. So there were at least 25 4year olds having a wonderful time gaining confidence in the water. But not ideal for hotel guests to sit and relax, or have a swim in the larger pool. We complained to the reception staff that we couldn.t use the pool, but they just shrugged, as they could do nothing about it. No point advertising a pool that residents can only use certain hours of the day!! Our driver spoke to the hotel reception staff and we were given a change of room which was more of a suite, and although it was an improvement, again it needed updating. The food and the service by the restaurant and bar staff were very good. The whole hotel needs updating. Would never go back.

All rooms were luxurious. Maintained neatly. Rooms had a great view. There were many varieties of food for both dinner and breakfast. Service was awesome. Service guys were kind enough to ensure we are having nice dinner/breakfast time. Dishes were very tasty. Loved the stay here!

Location, Location, Location and super friendly helpful staff make this property worthy of a stay. Was travelling with a group and whilst this isn’t a modern / contemporary hotel the location affords some amazing panoramic views around Kandy. It was a pleasure to enjoy a great Buffett breakfast with superb views to accompany. A special mention to Javardina, who looked after our floor and did a sterling job with nothing being too much trouble, arranging for laundry to be done and taking care of all requests. The whole team provide superb service (feel bad that I can’t remember everyone’s name). Thank you for a memorable stay.
