Hotel berhampiran Wat Ban Tha Phra, Kantharalak

Se vi trovate da queste parti scegliete questo resort è ottimo, una bella piscina belle camere con letti comodissimi ( cosa non semplice da trovare in Thai...) e pulizia impeccabile, la parte bar/ristorante è composta da una parte centrale e poi tutte palafitte con tavolo all'interno su un laghetto molto curato, ottimo cibo e gentilezza. Ci tornerei volentieri.

This really is a fine hotel, a few years old perhaps but well maintained. We loved the setting; the centerpiece tree is splendid and the wooden walkways make it seem you are in a forest park, We took a villa room because my wife wanted to have a bath. The bath did take a long time to 25% fill with hot water but we both each had a relaxing bath. The bed was very comfortable and the room was well equipped with lights and power points. The pool is great and very clean with just some leavers floating on top because of the forest setting. We ate an evening meal here of spicy fish soup and green curry with pork and they were both very good. The breakfast of rice porridge was pretty ordinary though. Wi-fi is good, the receptionist was pleasant and spoke OK English as a bonus. You do hear the noisy bypass road when you are outside but the room soundproofed it

Deux nuits soit celles dès 22 et 23 janvier 2020. Nous avions réservé celle du 21 avec Booking mais nous avons du l'annuler car épouse était malade. Nous savions que l'annulation était non remboursable. Nous avons tout de même tenté notre chance de ne pas avoir à payer la nuit en écrivant à l'hôtel pour leur expliquer la raison pour laquelle nous ne pourrions pas nous présenter et nous avons aussi écrit à Booking. Nous avons été exemptés de tout frais et nous sommes reconnaissants à l'égard de cet établissement. Nous avons payé 600 baht la nuit avec petit déjeuner buffet inclus. L'accueil fut bien de la part de la jeune réceptionniste qui parlait un peu anglais mais très basique. L'attitude du jeune homme qui nous a amené à notre chambre a été médiocre. Il ne voulait rien savoir de nous et nous le démontrait clairement. On avait une entente pour avoir une chambre au deuxième étage et nous étions au premier dans une chambre qui ne nous convenait pas du tout. Il a dû retourner à la réception et est revenu avec une pire attitude. Nous avions la chambre B33 avec un frigo et un bon wifi. La chambre était belle au premier coup d'œil mais on y a découvert de la moisissure et des champignons au niveau de la salle de bain dans la partie douche et lavabo et dans celle du bol. Nous avions un grand balcon. La tranquillité était au rendez-vous et nous avons très bien dormi. Le petit déjeuner était service de 7h à 10h et était passable. Nous avons déjà vu mieux. Il manquait souvent de nourriture dans les plats. Nous avons dû faire des pieds et des mains pour obtenir deux serviettes hier soir à la piscine. Cette dernière était très propre et bien entretenue. Vous devrez prendre des taxis pour vous rendre partout car c'est très loin du centre-ville et des attractions. Le personnel est plutôt distant et non souriant dans son ensemble. Cute little hotel, set in a very quiet neighborhood. Check in was easy and the was staff cheerful and accommodating. Room was clean and had the necessary items, including fridge, wardrobe, small TV, comfortable bed, functional AC and hot water, and a table & chairs on the patio. No desk, safe box, or kettle in the room, but in the morning when I asked about coffee, they brought me coffee and toast. Each room has its own parking space. Nicely landscaped and well maintained property. GPS brought me right to the hotel, but if you're driving a large truck you could have trouble negotiating the really narrow streets in this neighborhood. Restaurants are all located in the main part of town, a bit of a walk from the hotel. Not quite sure why this hotel is here, but I am glad that it is. Pleasant stay. Despite being away from the maolin part of town and the lack of big amenities like a pool, or small amenities like a kettle, I still rate 5 stars for the quiet night, friendly staff, and the price of the room.
