Standard Amenities: The facilities met our needs without exceeding expectations. Ski Area Access: While the hotel offers a shuttle to the ski area, there is still a walk involved to reach the ski gates, which might be a consideration for some guests. 💡 Tips and Recommendation: ♨Onsen Choices: Opt for the building with its own onsen for a private dip, or brave the open-air onsen for a magical winter experience. 🚘Transport Planning: While there's a shuttle service, having private transportation is convenient. Definitely the best hotel in Karuizawa! Exceptional service and beautiful accommodations that have made our experience truly memorable! The professional and caring nature of your staff has been remarkable, ensuring that every aspect of our stay feels personalized and welcoming. The hotel's design and upkeep are also commendable. The elegant decor and well-maintained facilities have set a perfect backdrop for our romantic getaway, enhancing our overall enjoyment and comfort.

We stayed in a room accommodating 3 people. The sofa bed is big in principle big enough for my daughter but she found it easily falling down probably because the base is a sofa which is apparently smaller than the mattress! The hotel room is generally clean. We had a shabushabu and teriyaki dinner at the hotel which was relatively expensive but the quality is excellent and we found it worth a try! More importantly, the hotel is conveniently located near the outlet where we had a happy shopping spree😊

The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from Karuizawa station. Take the north exit on the bridge/walkway after coming up from Shinkansen platform, it's the left. There's a tourist info with helpful people at the end of the corridor, and an escalator next to it. Once you come out, with your back to the station, walk straight down the road, and take left at the first traffic light, near the Shell station. The hotel is opposite Family Mart. Staff are friendly and helpful. Room was generous-sized with an ante-room which has a fridge, some storage cupboards and the main room is nice and big with a good-sized bed. They provide 2 bottles of water. You can take day trips to Naka Karuizawa, Shiraiito Falls among other destinations using the bus service outside the station. It's a lot easier if you have Suica card or you will need to carry many 1000 yen notes. On the way back you can you can stop off at Kyu Karuizawa and walk the streets of Old Ginza. It can also be reached by foot, takes about 25-30 minutes.

This is a brand new hotel with a great location, an easy 10 minute walk from the train station. I wanted to find the interior/graphic designers responsible for the hotel and give them a hug a few times - clever little details run throughout the property. We stayed in the deluxe twin room. It was very spacious and spotless. Very nice ambiance overall. Guests seemed to be mainly couples. We visited with our 4 year old son, and while he was the only kid we saw at the hotel, we were made to feel very welcome and staff was friendly and kind to all of us! Our son enjoyed the hotel too. Breakfast was included in our rate, and was a daily highlight. The Spanish restaurant on the ground floor dished up fantastic, innovative filling dishes. Certainly far from your standard hotel breakfast offerings. I was very happy to support this hotel that was brave enough to open in the middle of the pandemic! Had a fantastic experience, and would recommend this place without hesitation. Hope to be back!

We stayed at this hotel recently and really appreciated the stay. The stay actually started off bumpy with some misunderstanding of our reservation that had us cramped into a small room with no possibility of adding a roll-away. The young woman who checked us in said there was nothing she could do, so we took her for her word and proceeded to our room. When we got to our room, we realized that we would end up with a disastrous stay contrary to what we were expecting--a wonderful and serene one--as the room was way too small. When the bell person (Rajesh) brought our luggage, we informed him, that the room would not work for our family of four. Though it was not his responsibility per se, Rajesh immediately went to work to seek out any other options we could have to accompany us and, long story short, he helped us stay in a bigger room that was more appropriate--though considered a downgrade. The fact that a bell person would go out of his realm of responsibility to meet our needs was truly appreciated allowing us all to fully enjoy our stay. We ended up having dinner and breakfast at the hotel restaurant and fully appreciated the friendliness and service of the restaurant staff as well as the healthy, delicious, and local foods that were served. There is no doubt we would return to stay there again thanks to Rajesh and his excellent customer service!

Stayed in Cottage Type A with two kids. There is the hotel van that will send you to your cottage from the hotel reception. You just have to let the staff know. They will also pick you up from the cottage if you want to go nearby places. The prince shopping outlet is a 5 min walk away. The ski school and slope are also within 5 min. The cottage is clean but there may be some creepy crawlers around (spiders). The bathroom is challenging to bathe in the winter because it is small and clothes may get wet. The toilet is separate though. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I’d stay here again if I return next time.

黑鑽會員特意給前台小張點贊👍 從沒有功夫寫點評的我 今兒被小張的服務感動了 小前台小張的服務可以算是輕井澤是王子酒店的名牌 故事是這樣的：“入住當天被王子酒店周邊shopping mall的氛圍感渲染啦一波又一波 訂的小木屋格局很好有兩個房間，當中是個客廳，入住3-4人搓搓有餘。當晚上入睡的時候覺察到滑雪場的造雪機有噪音，本人聽覺特敏感類型，所以當即和攜程一對一客服聯繫也和酒店前台聯繫好，很快速的得到相應。前台日本夜班人員溝通好考慮到很晚了就讓我們先去酒店樓裏住一晚第二天再調整房間。 第二天前臺中國小張開着酒店車很颯爽的來到小木屋幫助我們把行李搬進酒店樓棟內，聽到國語非常親切，小張特別耐心又提行李又開車還幫助我們一起把行李送到新房間，期間還幫我們介紹了酒店和周邊諮詢。 將我們後續需要的服務也一併提供完成。 日本服務業周所周知都是讚的，當異鄉又遇到同胞在語言溝通上順暢又得到了實在的服務幫助。這次的旅途酒店體驗是近十年遊走日本最最滿意的。

I Like the cleanliness of the hotel. Room is spacious. The front desk staff could communicate in English. Good if you drive there. Else, it’s a distance from the train station. St Paul church is just opposite of the hotel. There’s also a Japanese shin nearby. There are good bakery shops nearby for breakfast. We were there on 2 weekdays and there’s not many people and not many shops open. The restaurant next to it serves good pasta and pizza. We had our 2 dinners settled there. Karuizawa is a beautiful place. You may have a morning jog nearby and it’s so serene running around.

二度目の滞在で今回は2泊しました。 1泊はファミリールームに滞在しましたが家族3人で過ごすには十分な広さで、とても快適でした。 バルコニーからは自然に囲まれたゴルフコースと浅間山を望むことができ、心が落ち着きます。 こちらのホテルは別館にある温泉が素晴らしいです。 天気の良い昼間には浅間山を見ながら湯船に浸かれてとても気持ちが良いです。 朝食ビュッフェでは感染対策がしっかりとなされていて安心して食事ができました。 フルーツジュースがおかわりするほど美味しくて好きです。 ホテルスタッフは物腰が柔らかく、すれ違う際には挨拶をしてくれる方々ばかり。 とても気持ちよく滞在することができました。
