Stayed here for 9 nights, loved the service and sound proof rooms. The dinner and breakfast chefs were amazing and the location of hotel is part of Chaya centre which has a amazing coffee spot called Arabica coffee!! Once we gathered our bearings around Thamel, shopping and external restaurants are very easy to walk to and enjoy. When using taxis we saved so much downloading Pathao so we did not have to negotiate on price and get overcharged. Highly recommend Aloft in Kathmandu and they are great ambassadors of the Marriott name and brand!

the malla hotel is the best five star hotel ,as i have ever seen,services,staffs and it's history is fantastic.i had stayed just for 2 nights,my memories are so good.i myself is the gm of the Le Meridian hotel worldwide.the amenities,services,staffs are too good,always feel like to be back again.it's my pleasure to see manager on the floors. i met a young manager at the breakfast time.i forgot his full name,however i knew his sir name ,Mr.Nepai,he speaks fluently an English,as i was observing his way of talking to the other tables guest,with his smile he simply asked ”how was the rooms,ac,if the hot water is coming,and if there is any problem ,let him know.once he heard the complained ,he dialed the phone and informed to the other departments,his service style is awesome,immediately he solves the problems,this type of service attitudes is required from the food and the beverage teams. he said”under the leadership of Mr.Ram Paudasaini,as a Food & Beverages Ass.Manager,working as a team . he even said there are lot of services staffs who have been working since 10 to 15 years and they are the real team of the food and beverages.like mr.Ram K.Gautam,Sunil,kiran karkii,Madhukar Giri,Rabindra,shambu ,ram K Wagle,puspanjali,malina,anjali,akarti,subina,they are the srong team of the food and bverages,with their support,advice,every day work has been successful. hrd,gm,bijaya Malla the owner,front office,housekeeping,laundary,enegenring teams are the back bone of the malla hotel,he said.really appreciated Mr.Neapli. ”a strong team makes everything possible,” sales are the most vital team ,they are the back bone for the generating the revenue,Mr.Nepali has wide range of understanding hotel operation.puja, sristi,Elisa,are the hard working staffs of the sales department.. i hope to see you all again. thanks the Malla Hotel team for the great hospitality .

Location is superb, right in the middle of Kathmandu, walking distance to Thamel. Other interesting landmarks are easy to reach with the helpful taxi drivers (always present outside the gates). Hotel staff are very kind, sincerely engage in conversation and helpful in providing tourist information. Rooms are cost and warm decorated. Hotel has a beautiful garden suitable for a relaxing stroll. Swimming pool is nice and very clean! I highly recommend this hotel above other hotels in Kathmandu. Thank you Mr Prakesh for the awesome service in the restaurant.

Great!! Very clean, very comfortable bed. Powerful showers with clean water unlike the polluted water most local residences use. Polite & welcoming staffs. A little on the expensive side. Hotel is in good location, staff was friendly who checked in us. I loved the room as they were quit big and comfortable, had an air conditioning in the room too. Shower facilities was good but could be better, plus point hot shower was available and bonus bath tub was available as well. Kettle was provided to us with drinking water, could be better if tea and coffee was available but staff was superb as they provided us with tea and coffee on request. Overall, it was excellent for me, in comparison to price, room sizes, location and friendliness of the staff. I even recommended my friend to stay as I was there.

The Hotel Mulberry was the perfect experience! It was right in the thick of the shopping and dining areas, but it was hidden off at the end of the street with a brick circular driveway.It felt very safe, it also had security guards and hotel shuttles. The rooftop infinity pool was great and very relaxing. There's also a great bar and spa on the rooftop. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and quiet and the staff was very accommodating. The restaurant was great and the buffet breakfast was sumptuous. One of the highlights of my trip was one particular Hotel Mulberry employee, Deeya Don (Diya). Deeya is top-shelf as far as hospitality goes. She was very friendly and accommodating and went out of her way to make sure that everything we had was perfect. She's very compassionate and knowledgeable. I feel like I made a lifelong friend in just a few days! I know she'll have a great career in the hospitality industry. I only have wonderful things to say about the hotel; I only wish that we could have stayed a few more days!

Our group stayed at the Oasis Hotel before and after our trek to Everest Base Camp. The rooms and the service we fantastic. We stored our bags at the hotel when we went on the EBC trek. Because of weather and the Dashain Festival, we rescheduled our trek to go day later than originally planned. A member of our group came down with Dengue fever on the trek, so we had to return to Kathmandu two days early. Tulsi, the hotel manager, was incredibly helpful and was able to find us rooms to accommodate the changes. Tulsi and the staff at the hotel were very engaging, looked for ways to be of service, and always greeted us warmly. The hotel’s location is within easy walking distance to the shops in Thamel, in addition to having a lot good restaurants and cultural sites nearby. Our group was consistently impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms, the free breakfast, and the friendliness of the staff. With the changes we had to our trek schedule, we really appreciated Tulsi and his staff taking care of us. We will definitely stay here when make the return trip to tackle the Everest Base Camp trek again.

Things that I appreciate: - The hotel manager was very helpful in finalizing my itinerary and booking transportation for me every day. This meant saving rupees versus hailing taxis myself. - The hotel’s location is very near the center of Thamel which makes it effortless to look for food and souvenirs. - I was here on from Dec 29 to Jan 2 and, while Thamel is very busy for the NY Countdown, the street where the hotel is located is relatively quiet. - On my Day 1, I almost missed my free breakfast buffet due to oversleeping. They called me at 9:00 AM (30 mins before closing of the buffet) to check if I really meant to skip my breakfast. - The room is decent and big enough for its price. Things that I believe can be improved: - Breakfast buffet is plain and limited in terms of variety. - Not applicable to me because I want to DIY everything, but thinking maybe it would be helpful to other guests is would have city tour packages offered in the front desk.

During my visit to Kathmandu I stayed in this hotel, the place is very well located in the center of the city but away from the noise, it’s easy to walk to the places you want to visit. The room and shared bathroom are comfortable and clean, every day you can see the cleaning staff doing their job. Every morning I practiced yoga on the roof. All the staff is friendly, I especially thank the Manager, Ashish, who helped me plan some routes and gave information, also to Binod Bhandari who is at the reception, always attentive, respectful and willing to answer questions. I recommend this hotel, it was my first visit to Kathmandu and I’m sure I will return in the future.

During my visit to Kathmandu I stayed in this hotel, the place is very well located in the center of the city but away from the noise, it’s easy to walk to the places you want to visit. The room and shared bathroom are comfortable and clean, every day you can see the cleaning staff doing their job. Every morning I practiced yoga on the roof. I was in Nepal for a week. When i searched trip advisor lot of the people were recommending Thamel. Since I was budget one of my acquaintaince referred Imperial Guest House and I booked for 2 nights from *********** The best part about my stay was, this place is a hidden gem since it is located away from noisy Thamel. We found this place welcoming since it is family run. It has wifi, hot and cold shower. Beds are clean, rooms are cozy. This is exactly what I was searching for on a tight budget. Restaurant is not available within the premises, however if you walk few steps you will find multiple shops and restaurants. Lastly donot miss the terrace of the guesthouse if you would like to chill and read books, enjoy sun and drinks. Its only 6kms from Tribhuwan International Airport. Garden of dreams was a lovely place to visit, only 300 meters from the Guest House.
