Nice hotel with best service! Really enjoy the stay at here. And after trekking I'm super tired. And guess what, I got FREE UPGRADE for my room !!! 🥰 Feel safe even though I'm solo. As they have a security guard at the lobby. And the staff and owner are super nice and welcoming

My stay at the Lakhey Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The hotel's greatest strength is without a doubt its people. The boss is exceptionally helpful and can speak Chinese, which was a huge advantage for me. He went above and beyond by helping me manage and arrange my entire travel itinerary to Pokhara and Chitwan. It took all the stress out of planning, and I felt confident I was in good hands. highly recommend

Excellent value for money! The hotel is fantastic, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. A major bonus is that the owner speaks fluent Chinese. They also have an excellent Chinese restaurant on-site – make sure to try their food! Highly recommended.

Lakhey Hotel: Truly the Best Stay in 50+ Countries! (Kathmandu) After traveling to over 50 countries, I can confidently say that my stay at the Lakhey Hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu, stands out as the absolute best hotel experience I’ve ever had. WThe facilities are excellent: the rooms are large, spotlessly clean, and incredibly comfortable. However, the true magic lies in the service and the people. The owner and every staff member are genuinely amazing. They don't just offer friendly service; they treat you like family. This is authentic, personal care, not the "fake friendly" experience you sometimes get elsewhere. They Solve Everything: All my questions were answered, and every requirement was met. Critically, when I encountered major problems with my jeep transport and my flight to Lukla, the owner personally stepped in and resolved everything efficiently. He is resourceful, incredibly knowledgeable about all the local hikes and travel in Nepal, and his Chinese language skills are remarkable. The location is perfect—it's right in Thamel but located on a very quiet side street, guaranteeing a peaceful night's sleep. The food is also outstanding, with a different, amazing breakfast served every single day. I am now heading off on my hike, but I am already looking forward to my return stay. Thank you for taking such exceptionally good care of me!

I stayed at the hotel for 2 weeks. The hotel was super clean. The staff was awesome, kind, polite & very helpful. They have security officers guarding the premises round the clock. Breakfast was delicious 😋. I highly recommend anyone to stay at lakhey Hotel.🫰

This hotel was really good! I liked it quite a bit. I wish the location was a little bit better but other than that it’s pretty solid. The restaurant is pretty decent, but the rooms are actually really nice. I will say one thing, however, that the Wi-Fi is not very good. Other than that, it was a great stay.

The hotel is new and clean with excellent service, and has walkable distance to Thamel. There is security officer in hotel entrance which made me feel safe, and also a chinese restaurant with good quality of food. All of the staff can speak very well Chinese and English so communication is not a problem in the hotel. The most attractive point of the hotel is the owner 小明 who is also a travel company owner. He helped me arranged airport transport, two-day Pokhara trip as well as one-day sunrise and city-sightseeing trip which were all very well organised with reasonable price. He speaks fluent Mandarin and I communicated with him via wechat for all the arrangements (just email the hotel to ask for his wechat). I can truly feel that the owner and all staff made best effort to make every visitor to feel warm and welcoming like a home. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Kathmandu.

The room was spotless, and the staff provided excellent service. The front desk staff spoke Chinese, were incredibly friendly, and went above and beyond by helping me with my luggage to the room. They even assisted with calling taxis when ride-sharing apps like Indrive weren't available. I ordered lunch at the hotel and had the beef noodles, which were delicious and offered great value for money. The only downside was some noise in my room, as I could hear motorcycles from outside at night.

The location is convenient, close to many attractions and amenities. Service is excellent—staff are friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. The boss can speak Chinese, which made communication easy and added a personal touch to the experience. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended for both food and hospitality!
