Very friendly service at front desk. The best feature of this hotel is the lovely well maintained tranquil garden situated in the center of the building. It was a pleasure to sip a capuccino from the cafe situated next to the garden. Unbelievable for us having not visited Kathmandu in 20 years the arrival of good coffee A very short and interesting walk takes you to the bustle and noise of the Stupa. The room was adequate but like many rooms at this price point the only place to sit was on the bed. Our room had A/C but fortunately did not need it. The bathroom was clean but hot water only came intermittently during our stay. Management were helpful and always tried to fix the problem. Wifi likewise was a bit hit and miss. Sheets were were on the thin side but typical of hotels at this price point in Asia. Overall would recommend.

非常具有特色的酒店，早餐以當地風格居多，環境在加德滿都是最好的，在一片綠色的花園裡麪，旁邊緊挨着大佛塔，去各個地方都很方便。在房間可以眺望加德滿都市景和夜晚佛塔的燈光，服務很好，花園裡的博物館很有特色，酒店泳池很大很乾凈，推薦給來這邊商務或者旅遊的朋友，很滿意

One of the best bang of buck hotels in boudha area, kathamndu. The receptionist was very nice to give me free upgrade to superior room. Room was very clean spacious and breakfast was good as well. Highly recommended

This hotel is fantastic. It is clean, accommodating, and in a great location. It is within a 2 minute walk from the Boudha Stupa (the area where they shot some clips for Marvel's Dr. Strange). Because of that you will find lots of restaurants, shops, and coffee houses (try the Himalayan Java Restaurant). But the best part of the trip was interacting with the hotel owners. They were incredibly friendly and helpful. They were quick with a nice cup of tea or coffee and enjoyed making conversation. I learned a great deal about Nepal from them! Several times they arranged taxi's for us, being willing to communicate with the taxi drivers. The breakfast was delicious (eggs, toast, potatoes, fruit, and beans). I don't know why anyone would stay anywhere else when visiting Kathmandu!

Life is about the good people you meet along the way, The Boudha Inn family took me in, provided a hospitality above and beyond, a great place to hang my hat. The inn has comfortable accommodations, banana pancakes to die for, I did yoga on the roof and is close to everything I enjoy about Katmandu. I am on the tail end of an 18-night stay at the Lakhey Hotel in Kathmandu, and I can honestly say that it has been WONDERFUL. I've gotten to know many of the staff, and they all are warm, friendly, and gracious. The hotel has only been open for a couple of months, and it is spotlessly clean, kept that way in part by one of the hardest working housekeepers, Sumitra, that I have ever seen. The staff head, Rajesh, and his assistants, Raj Kumar and Ram, who also multitask with cooking, greet me every morning with a warm welcoming. They all will make you feel like you are part of their family. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, off a busy street, and conveniently located near the touristy Thamel area. The rooms are spotlessly clean, modern, rather upscale, but very economical. The hotel does not have a restaurant but provides a GREAT breakfast that is way beyond what they call a ”continental breakfast” that one would get in America. Freshly cooked to each guest, it includes eggs however you like them (I loved the omelet!), freshly cut fruit, veggies, potatoes, toast with butter & jam, juice, & coffee or tea. And there is a restaurant right next door for other meals. I had never stayed at the Lakhey Hotel before, but I can highly recommend it, and I will surely return in the future.
