This hotel would have got 5 stars but badly let down by the food quality! Staff... Excellent, very friendly and helpful. They work hard to please their guests. Rooms... We were in the new block. Very modern, bed huge and very comfortable. Had all the facilities we needed. Great rain forest shower. Pool area... lovely, very clean. Sunbeds, beanbags, Hammock, day beds, and parasols are plentiful. The pool guy works hard to keep it clean. We didn't need to reserve a bed, but this was September, so I'm not sure about mid summer. Location... perfect in a quiet area but on the main road. It's far enough out but easily walking to the main *****. Last but not least...FOOD... I am not picky and will eat according to whichever country I am in. I understand that we all have differing palettes, but it was so sad to watch guest after guest wander around the restaurant trying to make a meal and a meal that wasn't cold! If you don't get to the restaurant for 7.30 when it opens, you are guaranteed pretty much cold food. And once the meat is gone, it's replaced with something of far less quality. It's extremely poor quality, and it's such a shame as many guests were forced to eat out. Unfortunately, breakfast is no better. Prices... The bar is not cheap. Expect to pay €3 for a small can of coke. €10 for a cocktail and the daytime food menu pretty much UK prices. Far cheaper places outside the hotel. Warning! They are very strict about even bringing a bottle of water in the hotel from outside and don't dare to even try a packet of crisps many were reprimanded round the pool. Also, smoking is still allowed here. So expect to eat your food next to people smoking We hired a bike as we always do, great to see the island. Highly recommend Visiting the River at Potami, the bars are beautiful and very pretty at night. Messonghi beach, and Issos beach is great for swimming and children as very sandy beach and shallow water. Kavos beach is awful. Roussos restaurant in Kavos is a hidden gem. Stunning food on the sea front. In conclusion. Lovely hotel, great staff, very clean, drinks not cheap, food shocking. Also, check out is 11am, and it's €100 to keep the room on till 3pm easier to use the shower facilities in the spa.

The photos have nothing to do with reality, the treatment was terrible from those in charge. Lousy food and on top of that the workers live below the reception, at the end of the hallway, it was very unpleasant for me😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Ekati mare is a great hotel with the most friendly staff, great food, and the most amazing pool area with a great atmosphere to spend your day. The rooms are lovely too, though if we stayed again, we’d probably go for a family room instead of a double for a bit more space. A special shout-out to all the staff at reception and the pool bar/restaurant. They work incredibly hard and always greet you with a smile. If we ever come back to Kavos, we’d definitely stay here again. Thanks for such a lovely stay!

A really great hotel, allof the team were incredibly accommodating and helpful with anything you need during your stay. There is always plenty of space for drink or dining in the bar which is spotless, and if you go in town for the night they are always pleased to see you when you return for a drink or catchup. The food at the hotel was delicious. the snack menu was fresh and really reasonably priced - whereas the buffet had everything you may ask for! The rooms have comfortable beds, they are always keptclean - and really your needs were definitely met for a really relaxing stay. We really loved our stay, would recommend this hotel to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!!!

Room not cleaned, lie wires hanging out wall, cracked walls, mould in bathroom, lose shower screen, not rainfall shower but old one that’s goes cold after 1 min, greasy on extractor rather then being cleaned, told then pans where not clean so they toke away and said you can’t used then when the add said you could, building works, view from room now building site not green land

The staff members is what actually makes this a great place to stay, even if the location is great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Everyone there is really helpful and kind with their time and assistance. Most of all it has the best view for you to relax.
