Travelling in Central Turkey in August can be tough where temperatures reach 28°C at night and around 35°C in the day. You don't want to cut corners on accommodation and the good news is that the Radisson Blu in Kayseri is very affordable 5 star luxury. You and your family need the spacious rooms, excellent swimming and spa facilities including Turkish bath, sauna, gym, main and kids pools that are included in the stay. There is a rooftop terrace bar and restaurant with unsurpassed views over the city and surrounding mountains which is beautiful and colourful at sunset. The Radisson is conveniently located between the upmarket Forum shopping mall and the centre city. Kayseri Radisson is an excellent base for visits to Cappadocia and Mt Erciyes ski areas which is open for trekking in the summer. Needless to say, the service in the hotel is friendly and hospitable from reception, room services, restaurants and spa. Highly recommended place for a 5* stay.

Spacious clean room with super comfartable bed (windows at my room was not working properly). Good professional staff at reception and restaurant. Great location at the heart of city. Suz restaurant at hotel roof is a really high priced one with unpleasent meals. Customers are not stupid if you are charging above the european avarage you have to serve something special. I did not like portions and tastes... therefore hotel is good except ”exclusive tourist trap Sûz restaurant”

Novotel kayseri havalimanına çok yakın ve şehir merkezinde sayılabilecek bir lokasyondadır. personel güler yüzlü ve işini iyi yapan yeterliliğe sahipler. Otel genel müdürü misafirler ile ilgilenmektedir. Odalar temiz ve sağlık şartlarına çok uyumlu ortam yaratılmış. Müşteri profili gayet düzgün misafirlerden oluşmuş genellikle yabancı kişilerdi. Yemekler çok çeşitli olup gayet lezizdi.

Fevzi bey ve Merve hanımın sunduğu hizmetten son derece memnun kaldığımızı belirtmek isterim. Her iki yetkili de nazik, profesyonel ve işlerini bilen kişilerdi. Bu tür bir mükemmeliyet seviyesi, gıda sektöründe nadiren karşılaştığımız bir özellik. Restoranın lezzetli yemekleriyle birlikte hizmet standartları, akşam yemeğimizi unutulmaz bir deneyime dönüştürdü. I didn't get off to a good experience as the WiFi signal was poor and the room floor and corridor outside were dirty. However, after having spoken with Mustafa, the hotel manager, everything was fixed within an hour, which was much appreciated. The rest of my stay was perfect, the room was really comfy and practical and quiet and I slept really well on the bed. The food available was well priced and catered to vegetarians and there was a taxi always waiting outside. The location is ok. If you don't have a car the area is very polluted to walk in as it's on a motorway and very built up but there is a nice garden outside to relax in. The receptionist was always smiling and helpful, very polite.

I had booked a King size bed for my partner and I. When we checked in the receptionist asked if we wanted 2 twin beds. I told him we want to keep the king size bed. He looked at us awkwardly and gave us our keys. Once in the room the temperature was 26 degrees celsius and the AC didn’t work, we informed the receptionist and he told us that AC is shut off in the winter so he told us to sleep with the window open. The noise from the street didn’t let us rest. Moreover after breakfast we had a female staff follow us to the room and she waited outside and followed us to the reception like we are going to run away without paying. I asked for an invoice and she said she’ll email it which never happened even after I emailed them twice reminding them. I escalated the matter to IHG corporate and they promised me they will investigate and document everything that happened.

This hotel is ideal for those arriving or leaving by train - the station is across the road! That does mean there was some train noise - I enjoyed that - but there are only a handful of trains for those not so keen. I was on the top floor facing the station and road - when I closed the windows, traffic noise almost disappeared. It is a couple of km to the centre of town, which is why I only made location a 4, but there are plenty of buses. There are some fast food places nearby - the pizza place is pretty good. Hotel supplied breakfast, pretty standard for Turkey: sausage, cheese, bread, some veg, hot chips, eggs and tea. The room was great - comfortable bed, a very useful desk and chair as well as a soft chair to relax in, decent shower and good wifi. I stayed three nights - they didn't service my room (I actually prefer that) but it was nice and clean to begin with. They had forgotten to supply a cup, but I grabbed one from another room. All in all, a very pleasant hotel, and at the lower price point for the area.
