Lovely hotel,quiet ,clean and modern and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. The Spa is a definite must do, staff lovely and prices very good. Location of hotel is perfect. Right on the marina front where you can walk along the promenade for about a mile, passing plenty of eateries and watching the turtles. Plenty of shops too. Loads to see and do. We stayed 10 nights and did not hire a car. To your left on the promenade is the port where there are half hourly ferries to lixouri or buses to nearby lassi, both of which have nice beaches. We did the semi private tour with George who was a gem and so knowledgeable of the area - that's a great day out 😁

Just back from a week stay at this hotel. Room was ok size wise and we had a balcony. Bathroom was tiny. I just got in it. Free safe. Towels were changed daily and room kept clean. Have water in fridge which you pay for. Cheaper in shops. Rooms have air con. Breakfast was ok something to eat. Kettle in room and hairdryer. Christina a lovely receptionist who was there to greet us when we got there at 11pm at night. Lots of restaurants around and was nice food in restaurants. It was very hot and taxi took us to costa costa beach was 30 euros for 2 sunbeds and a parousel. Went in sea and the fish might nibble you. Needed a pool git a taxi to logos pool bar cost 8 euros to get there. Magnificants view with lovely staff and pool to cool down in Next time I will book a hotel with a pool. Check out us 11am and no courtesy room could only keep room on an extra hour which you want longer for a late flight They will charge you at the end if the holiday for water and hotel tax which is 1.50 euros a day so not too much Had a lovely holiday lovely place Saw the turtles on the front quite a few if them

The Hotel Aenos is in a fantastic location on the main square in Agostoli which is an atmospheric area with a host of excellent restaurants and eating places quite literally on the doorstep with all the attractions of Agostoli very close by within easy walking distance It is a modern and spacious hotel with very comfortable rooms all with full facilities Front facing balconies have fantastic views over the atmospheric main square below Breakfast is taken in a spacious and airy dining room / bar ,self service buffet style with a good selection of cold meats , serials and hot food The staff are all extremely helpful and friendly, particularly Fotis on Reception who is a real character A superb location with all the attractions of Agostoli within I easy walking distance We highly recommend the Hotel Aenos, so much so that we have already made a reservation to stay at the hotel next year Jeff and Karen

Extraordinary black hotel. We arrived late and were greeted by an exuberant receptionist. Quite frankly we were tired and wanted a quick drink. She showed us maps of the island and extolled the island. The corridors are dark. The blinds are pulled across the windows making the pool area unseeable, why? The pool is very small and the pool rooms face each other. When we went, the sun didn’t really hit the pool. Our room was lovely, nice bed, balcony. The balconies are odd, they are slatted so you lack privacy, plus we had rain and it came through the slats. The design of the hotel felt like being in Kim Kardashian’s house. Big shout out to Angeline who served breakfast. A la carte eggs was a nice touch and always superbly cooked. The hotel can call you a cab and book sun beds. We used Costa Costa beach, taxi 8e sun beds 35e, adds up but the beach and beds are worth the cost. You can use other hotel pools, we used LoGos cocktail bar pool, no charge for beds. You can get the ferry to Lixouri for 6e return. We had windy weather and sadly didn’t take a boat trip. The bedroom has a lighting system that takes getting use to, we struggled to work out how. To keep some lights on and others off. Daily water is provided in room. There is no beach in Argostli, but you can get a taxi or bus to beaches. Eat in restaurants that you check reviews first as there are some fantastic and less so.

We absolutely loved our stay, it was definitely the best hotel we have ever stayed at for both the highest standard of customer service and standard of hotel. A huge thank you to Costas, Petros, Christina, Martine and Maria. Sorry I didn't get all the names but every single member of staff were a credit to the hotel, they all made us feel so special. We were upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi on the balcony and had a great view. The breakfast each morning was delicious and HUGE, compliments to the lovely lady who made this beautifully every morning, served by the lovely, smiley Christina. We booked our boat trip, beach club day (free of charge) and car rental all through the hotel and visited numerous places all recommended by the lovely staff. Nothing was a problem to them at all. Our best meals were at recommended places which they booked for us too including Costa D'Oro at their sister hotel, the Casaly Hotel, superb red snapper at Vinaries restaurant and traditional greek amazing food at Palia Plaka. We loved chatting to Costas and Petros on our way out, they also went out of their way to get us a walking stick when my husband sprained his ankle. On our return after our meals there was the lovely Martine and Maria, always smiling and genuinely interested in where we'd been and what we had been doing. We hope to see them all again very soon.

Just returned from a week’s stay at the Thalassa hotel. Myself, my partner , sister and brother in law. Nice, clean and comfortable hotel, a little disappointed with the room allocation. I emailed the hotel in plenty of time before our stay to request adjacent rooms and high floors, when the reception finally replied I was told that rooms were allocated upon arrival and my request could not be guaranteed. Upon arrival we were allocated a ground floor room and my sister a 1st floor room in totally separate blocks. Rooms were cleaned on a daily basis, clean towels and bed linen every day. The maid did a fantastic job. Rooms were quite modern but however they were quite badly lit and the shower screen was quite dangerous, you could quite easily walk into the glass as there was no markings on it to warn you. The restaurant was very nice, good food nicely presented, however a little on the expensive side. Greg and his team did a fantastic job and nothing was too much trouble. Good choice of food at breakfast, nicely presented and waitresses/waiters all very helpful and friendly. Special mention to Silvana and Lauretta, both were lovely, very friendly and enjoyed a chat with you every morning. Pool area was nice but needs a few more umbrellas, pool towels were placed on the beds each day. Overall, a nice hotel and will probably visit again.

I stayed at Leivatho for my friend's wedding who got married elsewhere in Kefalonia as it offered better bang for your buck than some of the rival accommodation. The hotel has a large-ish pool, sauna and decent gym. But that's it in terms of facilities. It has a breakfast buffet every morning with hot and cold choices and fresh fruit, but not a real wide variety if being nitpicky. Lunch and dinner are available at an extra cost but not too expensive. Just beware of bees outside that will swarm your food... But the staff light coffee beans which acts as a deterrent! I can't remember the waitress's name who served all the guests pretty much by herself as she worked really hard. The staff at the front desk were also kind, friendly and helpful! The rooms are HUGE and spacious with Aircon to deal with the infamous Greek heat. They were so comfortable like being at home. The rooms were also cleaned immediately and spotless each day. There was also generous bathroom soaps and shampoos. The shower was also the best I've ever used! (Although I'll never get over Greece's rules on flushing toilet paper!) The hotel has great value for a four star. Some of my friends staying at the Astra village had ants in their rooms and paid more than I did. Be aware the location is isolated from civilization so if you want to go to Argostoli where all the main bars, restaurants and attractions are, unless you hire a car, you have to take a taxi which was 25-30 euros each way and became quite costly. But overall I'd recommend.

NNoraNorthThis was a perfect choice for my solo visit to Argostoli. The location is superb; centrally placed in the town but very quiet and with wonderful views. I had chosen a compact room . The room itself was plenty spacious, the only really compact thing was the tiny shower space! Breakfast was tasty and plentiful, the Greek yogurt and the coffee were great. Staff were friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The best part for me was the roof terrace. Luckily for me, other guests rarely used it during my stay so I had it all to myself many times during the day/evening! It was bliss. Stunning views, comfy sunbeds, towels provided, a not-so-hot tub, cool showers, nice bar…….utterly splendid!

We recently stayed at Astra Village & to be perfectly honest the holiday was fantastic, the room & hotel was spotlessly clean, pool area lively with the most comfortable sunbeds I have ever seen. Staff were friendly & very helpful. Nice quiet hotel & area for a relaxing break. My only disappointment was the fact on our last day we vacated our room at 11am, our all inclusive bands removed & that was it for us, no food or drink despite the fact we had an evening flight at 9.50pm & pick up wasn't till 7.45pm. We called Jet 2 who sent a rep out, she said it was hotel policy & they should have told us on arrival but they hadn't informed us of this. The hotel admitted that they were wrong in not telling us but wouldn't budge on allowing us to have any lunch or drink which was rather cruel in my eyes as we had paid a lot of money for this holiday & didn't expect to pay out for extra food & drink as we were all inclusive. Even if we were ok to have lunch that would have been fine but no nothing. Anyway I wouldn't say I won't ever go back but I will allow for the fact we have to take spare money to buy food & drink on last day if late flight home.

PPengguna TetamuWe had a lovely week at the Liberatos Village, it was brilliant to find a great deal at such a lovely apartment in the school summer holidays. Apartments were lovely and clean, all seemed to have a great view. We had a lovely sea view from ours. Rooms are spacious, we stayed in a one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed in the lounge for my daughter. They also supplied a travel cot for my youngest daughter on request which was perfect. When we arrived there was no hairdryer in the room, I mentioned it to the lovely lady at reception and within a few minutes I had a great one in the room to use, not your usual low power travel ones. All the staff we spoke to were so polite, kind and happy to help at anytime. The pool area was kept lovely, always clean and the sunbeds were great with comfy cushions on. Pool towels available from reception was also a lovely touch. Pool was never overcrowded or noisy and there was always space for everyone during the day. There was also a lovely bar area with seats, we didn't really use the bar or have the breakfast so can't comment but food coming out looked lovely. A lot of people comment on the hill up to the apartments. This is a fairly steep hill and is probably a 10/15 min walk up and down. A lot of people took taxis however we walked up and down at least once a day with no trouble and a 6 year old. It is steep and hot in the heat but unless you have mobility issues it shouldn't be a concern. The views from the apartments and tranquil setting definitely make up for this. All restaurants and bars are along the road at the bottom of the hill with a large supermarket close by. All restaurants are great quality with amazing food so you can't go wrong wherever you go. Highly recommend the Aqua Marina for happy hour 6-9pm great cocktails and lovely atmosphere. All in all Kefalonia is beautiful, Lassi especially and we would definitely visit the Liberatos Village again :).

Tim & I celebrated our 1st wedding Anniversary here. We stayed for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel is small and geared towards couples which is exactly what we wanted. Our room was spacious and although the bed was a bit firm it was comfortable. We had our own private patio with two sunbeds and a plunge pool which was the icing on the cake. The food was very good although not typically Greek. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. We were amazed at the length of the pool, approximately 65 metres we think. We both enjoy swimming and had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Kefalonia is a lovely island although the location of the hotel is in a very quiet part. All in all it was a lovely hotel and we would definitely recommend it.
