Lovely hotel,quiet ,clean and modern and the staff are all so friendly and helpful. The Spa is a definite must do, staff lovely and prices very good. Location of hotel is perfect. Right on the marina front where you can walk along the promenade for about a mile, passing plenty of eateries and watching the turtles. Plenty of shops too. Loads to see and do. We stayed 10 nights and did not hire a car. To your left on the promenade is the port where there are half hourly ferries to lixouri or buses to nearby lassi, both of which have nice beaches. We did the semi private tour with George who was a gem and so knowledgeable of the area - that's a great day out 😁

Just back from a week stay at this hotel. Room was ok size wise and we had a balcony. Bathroom was tiny. I just got in it. Free safe. Towels were changed daily and room kept clean. Have water in fridge which you pay for. Cheaper in shops. Rooms have air con. Breakfast was ok something to eat. Kettle in room and hairdryer. Christina a lovely receptionist who was there to greet us when we got there at 11pm at night. Lots of restaurants around and was nice food in restaurants. It was very hot and taxi took us to costa costa beach was 30 euros for 2 sunbeds and a parousel. Went in sea and the fish might nibble you. Needed a pool git a taxi to logos pool bar cost 8 euros to get there. Magnificants view with lovely staff and pool to cool down in Next time I will book a hotel with a pool. Check out us 11am and no courtesy room could only keep room on an extra hour which you want longer for a late flight They will charge you at the end if the holiday for water and hotel tax which is 1.50 euros a day so not too much Had a lovely holiday lovely place Saw the turtles on the front quite a few if them

Beautiful hotel Staff are amazing The attention to detail is incredible ( such as the WhatsApp facility tending to your every need, fresh water, fresh pool and beach towels daily , turn down service , welcome drink and local knowledge shared by staff , Nikolas welcoming you in and out of the hotel, Angeline and all the attentive staff at breakfast ) It’s a small, quiet hotel and a beautiful base for exploring kefalonia The breakfast is outstanding and served until 11 which was perfect for us The room we had was a side sea view and was immaculate in appearance and cleaned and checked daily - faultless. The spa is special and a lovely way to spend a morning/ evening at the hotel if you wish- sauna /steam room /thalasso pool/salt therapy room - again all immaculate and beautifully presented. The pool is small but perfect for a dip. There are 5 sun-beds around the pool so sometimes we could not get a bed and I saw others not being able to either - the beds that are mostly free all day belong to rooms( as seen in the pictures I’ve added) and not to be used by others- these beds get the most sun which is frustrating if you wish to sun bathe. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel and it’s hard working staff, attentive staff It’s a lovely vibe and you won’t regret staying here - in fact you won’t want to leave !

We stated at Kefalonia Bay Palace for a week in a standard suite. Firstly the thing that stood out for us was the service from the staff, in particular the two ladies who waited at breakfast and then served at the pool bar. Inya and Alona (sorry for misspelling) were so attentive, always greeted us with a smile and asked how we were. They seemed to be working each day at breakfast and then opened up the pool bar where we were always greeted with a glass of fruit water followed by some water melon. It was a pleasure to see and chat to them each day. The second feature is of course the view, and what a view. All rooms have a sea view and the higher up your room the better view, but obviously you encounter more steps. The steps were fine for us as we are fairly fit and used this to get in some extra steps to work off all the lovely Greek food. The hotel was very clean and well maintained and the room was serviced everyday so we always came back to a made bed and clean room. Reception area is clean and modern in appearance and the pool whilst often quiet, so you never struggled to get a sun lounger, again had great views across the bay. We had lunch at the pool bar a couple of times which was good however, there was no consistency in terms of it being open. On one day the bar was not open at all and on another occasion it closed at around 2.30pm, then on other days it would be open until late afternoon despite the details left in the room stating it was open 11am – 7pm, which clearly was not always the case. We did not have an evening meal at the hotel or get a drink at the main bar as this did not appear to be manned or open, which was a real shame as this would be a lovely place to sit and have an evening drink taking in the great views before heading into the main town. People have commented on the breakfast, we personally found it to be average however it was not as bad as some have commented. We also decided to go into the main town for breakfast on a couple of occasions to have that variety. There may well have been a note on the bar suggesting contact reception or going downstairs to the restaurant to try and obtain a drink – but that all seemed a little irritating to be chasing a drink. We did eat out on all evenings at a different Taverna each time. There was plenty to choose from which were all good, our own particular favourite being Sea Rock, (great steak and seabass) which is a shortish walk down from the hotel. All in all we had a great holiday at this hotel and would certainly come back, however we do like to visit other areas. It's been a while since we last visited Greece so would probably be looking at other islands, however we did enjoy Agia Efimia !
