Had a really superb meal. Everything was perfect. They are now doing fantastic pies, and I mean proper pies with pastry bottoms, and no soggy bottoms either. None of this stew with a pastry hat on. Pastry was light and crisp, filling was generous and beautifully cooked. I had the steak and ale, but have also had the chicken and ham before. Both were perfect. Plenty of other pub classics on offer too. Open fires and friendly staff. What is there not to like? Plenty of parking too.

It was very busy and the staff a bit stretched. The menu was only BBQ, which is not what we expected from the website. That said, the food was good and we enjoyed a burger and BBQ platters. The bar was often unmanned, but I’m guessing it was just a busy night. They also had a blues band playing, they were good, but a bit loud for a 6:30 family dinner.

The team at The Globe Inn were so kind and helpful as I stumbled in from a very wet walk around the lovely area looking to purchase something! Their kindness will be long remembered… thank you! Frogmore is fab, a great base for exploring South Devon!

Truly great experience.From the great welcome we received on arrival. Rooms spotless and well equipped.great showers.lovely crisp bedding and comfortable beds. Good breakfast menu. Good choice interesting pub food. Well cooked and well presented. We felt well respected and cared for by all the staff.particularly Sue at breakfast and the chef Curtis who made our stay memorable. Traveling without car the location was well served by local bus .would highly recommend The Globe at Frogmore.

It is a place that requires some attention. Replace the painting, pillows, dust in the rooms. The top of the cupboard where the tv sat had weeks of dust. It is on a busy road so if you are a light sleeper avoid. We also have a clock outside our door which you heard all night so not a great nights sleep. Breakfast was okay.

Couldn't believe they asked to see the bottom of my friends shoes before he was aloud in as they thought they were muddy !!. However the room was lovely. Food was good as was the bar and service. Shame the welcome let them down.

We had a very clean, comfortable room with decent beds. The room did overlook the Kingsbridge to Dartmouth road so there was a little traffic noise. We were personally greeted and showed to our room, a good welcome. After arrival, we enjoyed drinks in a lively bar, where there was a good selection of beers/ciders. We didn’t have an evening meal but the traditional pub menu seemed well received amongst those who did. Our breakfast was excellent. Served to order, prompt, hot and tasty. I think this is a very good value bed and breakfast stop.

Highly recommend - we booked last min for two nights on a holiday break close to Salcombe etc…. very friendly staff, evening meals were fresh home cooked and high quality “delicious”. Breakfasts were yet another delight lots of choices and the staff adapted to our dietary needs. This is a peaceful location. Thanks for the stay and the attentive service.

Tried reinstate a cancelled booking that was all paid for spoke to a man called John who confirmed a room was still available promised me a phone call back which never happened. Rang back totally unhelpful even thou a room was still available £133 down the drain and not the slightest bit of interest from the Globe inn. Took my payment and not a bit interested in my situation basically tough you cancelled we got your money we can let your room out again. Cheers
