Friendly and helpful people at registration desk. They answered our questions about the area and were very attentive to our needs. This Best Western has 2 restaurants. The food was delicious in both and very reasonably priced. I would not hesitate to recommend this Best Western to my family and friends.

We went last weekend to watch our granddaughter's ringette tournament, so the location was excellent for this purpose - nearby the arena, so we can go, watch a game, then return to rest, and go to the arena for the next game a few hours later. We received a warm, friendly and helpful welcome from Brittany Cormier, for which we are grateful as we felt amongst friends from the start. Thank you! The hotel is new, modern and clean with great coffee available in the lobby. Our room - 2 queen beds and a kitchenette - was spotlessly clean, spacious and the kitchenette had everything necessary to make a light meal (we did not stay long enough to take advantage of this option, but still we appreciated the convenience to be able to do so if needed). The beds were very comfortable, with soft and firm pillows for us to choose from. This will be especially helpful if you are travelling with children, and they will certainly enjoy the pool. Nearby there is a plaza with multiple restaurants to choose from, so we found this convenient, too. All in all, we enjoyed our stay there, apprciated the customer service and highly recommend the hotel.

Fantastic location, comfortable bed, polite and friendly staff, clean rooms, and wonderful amenities. The only downside was the parking as it was cramped making getting out of your car difficult and coming with the risk of damaging the car parked next to you. Alex (at the AquaTerra) was fantastic, pacing the meal perfectly, engaging us without being overly familiar or obtrusive, and making great recommendations based on dietary considerations. The 2 queens with waterfront view were worth it as the picturesque views were calming at bedtime and a great way to start a day!

It wasn’t near much, but that was ok. Otherwise it likely would have cost more per night. Continental breakfast was pretty standard. Free coffee in lobby 24/7. New and clean. Nice decor. Free parking. Pool and hot tub were small but sufficient. Might be harder to use when busier. I was there on a weekday.

PPengguna TetamuWe stayed in the Whitney 2 bed ground floor suite. It was fabulous and had a lovely patio. Well appointed, beautifully decorated and super tasteful. It was a real ‘wow’ apartment and we’re frequent travellers in 5 * accommodation. The house isn’t in Kingston (which is a pleasant small town) but about 10 minutes outside so you will need a car To make it even better (being picky) it would have been great to have a small vacuum, more toilet paper, some lie back sun beds on the deck, and a black out blind in the larger bedroom where the blind is thin. But these are really points to make an amazing stay even better
FFreedom00787003892My wife and I like to stretch out in hotels so the twin-bedroom suite at this hotel seemed the obvious choice when we visited Kingston. Unfortunately, this particular accommodation doesn't seem to get used much, as we learned gradually during our stay. First issue - the air conditioning unit in the shared lounge worked gangbusters, sending out a blast of cold air with a lot of noise, but virtually nothing made it into the rooms. A technician came quickly and discovered the vents had basically clogged shut. Second issue - the fan in the bathroom next to my room couldn't be shut off. There was no switch. I went downstairs and asked the person at the front desk whether I was mistaken and there was in fact a switch and he said he'd check. Whatever the results of the check, no one got back to me. So the droned on noisily through the night, making my life miserable. Third issue - my wife, a heavier sleeper than me, kindly offered to swap bedrooms. Throughout the night there was an intermittent clanging noise from above, as if a cord had come loose from a flag pole, or a panel in the air conditioning was flapping. The next morning I went down to the desk and asked them to look into it and they said they would. Again. no one ever got back to me, and whatever it was clanged away off and on the next two nights. My wife paid for these rooms - more than $2,000 Canadian for four nights (!) - and is a more forgiving soul than I am. Had this been on my tab there would have been a frank exchange with management and a request for a partial refund. As it is, we certainly won't be staying here again the next time we visit Kingston.
PPengguna TetamuWhen I booked my night at Motel 6 in Kingston, it was the cheapest place in town. Not something I would normally do, but the reviews were good, so I took a chance. I was not disappointed. Quick check-in and check-out. Clean room. Clean linens. Very soft towels. The room was spartan and modern; like it was designed by IKEA. There was even a fridge and microwave. It is very close to the 401, so a bit of road noise through the night was to be expected. It's not the Fairmont, and one would not expect it to be. But it was exactly what I needed; an economical and clean place to sleep in the middle of a road trip. I would stay here again.
PPengguna TetamuThe hotel location was good and near the dock for the 1000 island cruise, and depending on the rooms you either face the lake or the downtown. Stayed facing the downtown, not much noise was noted from the streets at night. Many eateries located near the hotel, opposite the hotel was the tourist center which you can book the trolley tours, 1000 island cruise, etc. Breakfast can be collected close to the hotel lobby. It is a bento style box and taste is decent even though the options do not change except for the flavour of the muffin.
PPengguna TetamuWe were in town for funeral. The female hotel desk person was amazing helping out to accomodate us. Unfortunately i found the man was just ok.
They hotel were taking precautions possible really, there was constant cleaning going on and only allowing one family in the pool at time for 30 mins and having a take out breakfast.
PPengguna TetamuFor better, and for worse, this was an interesting place! It's essentially a hotel located above a ***** plaza, which in itself interested me. The present owners/management took over about a year ago and have completely renovated each room, including the lobby. It's clean, the location is safe, and it has some neat features (heated bathroom mirrors so they don't fog when showering!). The price, too, is moderate -- as it should be, actually, because this hotel also has some drawbacks. First, our room was SO tiny!! I'm not sure if they are all this size but our room was so small, I had to turn my luggage sideways to get it past the bureau and bed to the far side of the room. Because of the room size, there are no chairs, other than the office chair. I wasn't sure where my wife and I were going to sit so I asked at the desk and, thankfully, they gave us a chair from the lobby to take up to our room. Secondly, there were no plastic cups in our room for evening beverages. When we asked at the front desk, they simply gave us more coffee cups (which were already available in our room). Then, we wanted a snack so we asked for the vending machines. The machine ”ate” my $2.50, so I then tried tapping with my card but got the message ”Network Error.” When I went down to explain what had happened at the Front Desk, I was simply told the vendor company would be contacted in the morning. No apologies, or an offer to refund my $2.50. I wondered if they sold any snacks from the front desk itself and they had a few bags of flavored dried pork cubes. It felt like there was maybe 10 small pieces in the bag but I thought, ”I need a snack of some sort!” So I said I'd take them, until I found out they were $8!! Breakfast is provided in the morning, but only at an additional cost. All in all, it's an interesting place. If you're a business traveler on your own, it may be OK. But if you're looking for a spot to stay as a couple, the size of the rooms and lack of seating make this a questionable choice. Because management is quite new, perhaps they're still working out some of the bugs. Let's hope they can sort it out and make it a bit more welcoming of a place. If they can, there's lots of potential here.
PPengguna TetamuGood service. Breakfast included except did not expect is take away kind of breakfast. Overall breakfast taste good and sufficient amount. Would prefer to allow earlier check in instead of having to wait till 3.00pm and check out is 11.00am which made the stay only for 20 hours instead of 24 hrs stay
Bed Mattresses are a little too high for us (personal preference)
Surrounding environment is excellent, quiet and clean
Firstly their is no pool ! They said that they were still working on getting the pictures of the pool down since last January 2023… also the place is not a Sheraton anymore it was sold in January you guest it Jan 2023 also we book for four people but yet got only three towels ?the staff is great and the location is amazing but be warned outdated bathroom looking a bit dingy with ants crawling all over it. Disappointed in general but be aware that their a resort fee of 70$ a night and over night parking is 30$ a night!!!!
