"We arrived at the hotel at 8am and were so lucky to be able to check in to our room. The hotel lobby was on the third floor, and it wasn’t very intuitive to locate. We booked the room with river view and it was facing the main road. I thought it would be very noisy as ear plugs provided in the room, however, it wasn’t that noisy and we could sleep through. Room was clean and water pressure/heater was good! Afternoon tea is provided if you are in your room in the afternoon. Otherwise you could opt for lattes in the morning before you set out to explore. The staff there were very service-orientated and accommodating. We were running late from our location and had already checked out with our luggage. They were so kind to bring the luggage down to the main room so we can continue to journey to the airport. It’s walking/cycling distance to九眼桥 and eateries. Good location! Will definitely come back when visiting Chengdu!"

The bedding is comfortable, and the facilities are well-maintained, looking brand new and smart, providing a perfect sanctuary for my busy schedule. However, what impressed me the most and sealed my decision to choose your hotel again in the future is your staff, especially HEDDA. Her enthusiasm truly helped alleviate my travel fatigue. "Having been thoroughly impressed by the food and service at the Horizon Club of Shangri-La Hotel on my last visit, I didn't hesitate to choose Shangri-La Chengdu again for this trip. Firstly, a big thank you to Ms. Lu, who was previously the Horizon Club manager and has now been promoted to Front Office Manager. Her warmth and helpfulness in securing a satisfactory room for us, along with complimentary fruit and local Sichuan snacks, and arranging a late check-out, set a wonderful tone for our entire journey. Strategically located near Jiuyan Bridge and the famous Lan Kwai Fong bar street, the hotel boasts a vibrant atmosphere and unbeatable night views. However, it's a bit of a distance from the nearest metro station. The Horizon Club's 'Happy Hour' offerings are incredibly diverse and plentiful, almost like a mini-buffet, with the cakes and desserts being particularly delightful. On the other hand, breakfast was relatively simple with fewer options. My beloved handmade steamed buns weren't as tasty as before, and they felt cold, possibly having sat out for too long, which affected the texture. I'm not sure why the brown sugar glutinous rice cakes (hongtang ciba) were soft throughout, lacking their usual crispy exterior. The Eggs Benedict were inconsistent; on the second morning, the egg was overcooked with no runny yolk, just a solid egg yolk, and the accompanying bread was unappetizing. Furthermore, the egg tarts were cold and not kept under a heat lamp, and the bread station seemed to lack even basic items like muffins, which felt a bit perfunctory. Restaurant management might need some improvement; during breakfast, I noticed a whole stack of plates still had water marks, indicating they hadn't been dried properly. Nevertheless, the service staff at the Horizon Club were excellent – friendly, courteous, quick to clear dishes, attentive to guests' needs, and particularly Ms. Liu Chun, the current Horizon Club manager, who was constantly busy, very dedicated and responsible. I also checked out the coffee shop on the ground floor. While the selection of dishes was indeed more extensive, it was also very crowded and noisy. The staff member who greeted us was still very enthusiastic despite knowing we were just looking around, though some other staff members appeared cold and unresponsive. Room service was excellent – very responsive and quick to fulfill requests. When they learned we needed to air out clothes, they thoughtfully brought a drying rack, which was a very considerate touch! Room maintenance was also good, with an automatic toilet and a Dyson hairdryer. The gym isn't open 24 hours; it closes after 11 PM, and guests cannot access it with their room cards after hours, which felt a bit restrictive for those wanting to work out later. In summary, this stay brought both joy and disappointment. I hope the hotel continues to improve and enhance its services, ensuring its long-term success and continued excellence."

The location is absolutely unbeatable—right in the heart of the city near Tianfu Square and just a 5-minute walk to the Jinjiang Hotel Metro Station. The room was massive and felt like a luxury apartment, complete with a full kitchen and a washer/dryer, which was a lifesaver for a quick traveler! I spent my morning at the gorgeous indoor pool and grabbed a delicious breakfast at Vinos before heading out. The staff were incredibly attentive and even helped me with local tips. The wet and dry separation was well-designed, water pressure was strong and temperature stable, and the provided bath products were of excellent quality. "This hotel is located in the heart of Chengdu, just a few minutes' walk from the Sichuan Science and Technology Museum, which is right next to the Chengdu Museum. It's also a convenient 30-minute walk or short taxi ride to Taikoo Li. The location is great, the environment is lovely, and the breakfast spread is fantastic. The service is warm and attentive, making it an excellent value for money. They even gave us a thoughtful little gift, a cute panda, when we checked out!"

"We had an amazing stay at ISEYA and would absolutely stay here again. The location is simply unbeatable — right next to Taikoo Li and IFS, with countless restaurants downstairs, a shopping mall attached, and the subway literally at the doorstep. It was incredibly convenient to get anywhere in Chengdu, especially traveling with kids. The hotel is in excellent condition, and the loft-style room design is a real highlight. The beds are exceptionally comfortable, the space is well laid out, and our kids absolutely loved staying here. Cleanliness throughout the hotel was excellent. What truly made our stay special was the service. Every staff member we encountered was friendly, patient, and genuinely helpful. Even when small issues came up, the team was always proactive and did their very best to find solutions quickly. On our first day, there were a few hairs left in the shower from the previous guest, and at times the sound insulation wasn’t perfect — occasionally we could hear people in the corridor. That said, these were largely due to other guests being noisy rather than a hotel issue, and the staff handled everything professionally whenever needed. Overall, this was a fantastic stay with an unbeatable location, extremely comfortable rooms, and outstanding service. A true 5-star experience — highly recommended, especially for families."

"A truly authentic review! This hotel is conveniently located near the Sichuan Museum and a metro station, making transportation a breeze. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive; they even contacted me in advance and waited up when I arrived very late. When I needed a late checkout because I was dining far away, they kindly accommodated my request. Most importantly, the hotel is exceptionally clean, so I had no worries about hygiene traveling with my child and elderly parents. The mattresses and pillows were comfortable, and they even had the firm pillows I prefer. Very satisfied, I highly recommend staying here!"

"I would highly recommend this hotel. 1. Personally, I am not used to Sichuan food and the breakfast really has a very good variety for those international tourists and their own internal tourists. Very good selection of different type of bread, pastries, Chinese cooked food, Sichuan noodles (live station), salads, porridges. I look forward to breakfast every single morning. 2. The staff are very polite, gentle, friendly and towards elderly people they are very respectful. 3. The room was very spacious. The toilet is huge too. Clean. The shower area, they are very considerate to put an anti-slip mat. 4. There are plenty of local food to try just around the hotel. Not sure where is the metro station as it was very affordable to get their DiDi. 5. The hotel has a Cantonese restaurant that serves good Cantonese food and dim sum."
