"We brought my octogenarian parents to Guangzhou for Chinese New Year. My husband and I booked a king room, and we booked a river-view twin room for my parents. The young lady at the front desk thoughtfully arranged a room close to the elevator for them to minimize walking. The next day, my parents found the bed a bit too soft and the duvet a little too thick. The staff immediately came and flipped the mattress to the firmer side and also provided a thinner duvet. My parents slept very comfortably for the rest of their stay. The cleaning staff on the 13th and 14th floors were very diligent, cleaning our rooms thoroughly every day and always being very polite. The smart toilet was the best I've ever used – the water temperature was comfortable and adjustable, and the water flow was strong. The breakfast buffet, while not having a huge variety, offered high-quality food. It included essential Chinese and Western options, and we enjoyed it thoroughly. The freshly cooked noodles were especially popular. On the morning of the first day of Chinese New Year, there was even a lion dance performance, which was very lively and fun. During the Spring Festival, the lobby also offered activities like giving out 'Fu' character calligraphy and making small horse lanterns, creating a wonderful festive atmosphere. The hotel's location is excellent. It's right next to the subway station and Xinghuan Mall, facing the Pearl River ferry terminal, and backed by an old street district. It's within walking distance of the Dafo Temple, Sacred Heart Cathedral, and Shangxiajiu Pedestrian Street. Both Xihu Road Flower Market and Binjiang West Road Flower Market are very close. There's even a direct shuttle bus to and from Hong Kong right outside the entrance – incredibly convenient! My parents were also very satisfied with the hotel, and we'll definitely stay here again if we have the chance. Just a few small suggestions: 1. Could shoehorns be provided in the rooms? It would be helpful for elderly guests to put on their shoes. 2. On the 14th floor, the water pressure from both the overhead shower and the handheld shower was quite weak. I wonder if it's a pressure issue. 3. The hotel lobby felt very fragmented, making the overall space seem narrow and cramped, which didn't leave the best first impression."

"Room & bathroom clean. Room big, clean & tidy. Location good - about 400m to Renhe Metro Station (line3). Western & Chinese breakfast reasonably good. A lot of eating shops and restaurants nearby. Staff friendly and helpful. Mark helped me to book 6 seater DiDi with my phone to Railway station (I almost book the wrong vehicle) - thanks to Mark for helping me to correct the situation. Airport transfer available and on time. A friendly General Manger (a lady) of the hotel came to chat with us at the breakfast room. Overall very happy with our stay."

"Originally, I booked one night, but then extended my stay for two more nights because the hotel's service is genuinely excellent, with great attention to detail. Upon arrival, someone was there to open the car doors, which is a given, but they also consistently opened doors for us whenever we entered or exited the hotel. Almost all staff members greeted us as we passed through the lobby. During check-in, you can sit down for a bit and enjoy a welcome tea, which tasted quite good. When heading up to the room, staff proactively offered to help with luggage and guide the way. You can even have food delivered directly to your room; just make sure to clearly state your room number. Once delivered, they'll ring the doorbell. If you have the 'do not disturb' sign on, they'll hang it on the door without any unnecessary disturbance. This high level of service and attention to detail is evident in many aspects, and I personally feel it has an advantage over other five-star hotels. The spa's body massage was also good and worth trying. Honestly, if I come to Guangzhou again, I'll definitely choose this hotel."

"This residence is unlike any other place I've stayed. It's very private; you need a key card to access the floors, which means fewer tourists and much more quiet. As soon as you arrive at the 68th-floor lobby, you're greeted with stunning views of the Canton Tower, instantly uplifting your mood. The front desk staff were all incredibly welcoming, with warm smiles and polite, gentle service – they truly deserve a big shout-out! A special thank you to Chelsea, Amy, Betsy, and Phillip at the front desk; they were all exceptionally friendly and kind. I'll definitely be back."

"The staff were polite and courteous. The room wasn't very big, but for the price, it was pretty good. It was clean and hygienic, though the facilities felt a bit outdated, like they were from many years ago. However, there were no strange odors in the room. Overall, it was decent for the price. The transportation was very convenient, right on Huanshi East Road. There are also plenty of great food and drink options nearby, all within easy walking distance. Zhixin Middle School, Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center, and Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center are all about a ten-minute walk away. The Orange Hotel is just across the street, and there's a Starbucks right next door."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right next to a subway station, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The decor is quite new, and while the room is compact, it offers great value for money. There are plenty of food options and shopping malls right downstairs, all within walking distance, which is very handy. TaiKoo Hui is directly opposite. The only downside is that the toilet flush is quite loud."

"Understated luxury! It's right next to Taikoo Hui, which is super convenient for shopping. The service is, as expected, impeccable – almost unbelievably good! Parking is a breeze, with direct elevator access from the underground garage. The pool view is nothing special, but it's an outdoor heated pool. While the holiday view isn't amazing, the transportation is very convenient. The best part, hands down, is breakfast. It's fantastic, good enough to be a brunch. The eggs Benedict and French toast are delicious!"

"The room was compact but had all the essentials. We even managed to borrow a stroller for the kids, which was a real lifesaver! The transportation hub nearby was incredibly convenient, and the surrounding area was great for exploring. The flower market was just a 3-minute walk away. The hotel concierge was fantastic, very efficient, thorough, and incredibly warm and helpful."

"This hotel is genuinely great! The location is a huge plus, within walking distance to shopping districts and attractions. Transportation is super convenient! Miss One at the front desk was incredibly nice; seeing we had a lot of luggage for two people, she thoughtfully arranged a slightly larger room. The room was clean and bright, and sleeping there was particularly comfortable, with bedding that felt fresh to the touch. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area, plenty of hot water, and a complete set of toiletries. There were also many self-service daily necessities available at the front desk. The WiFi speed was excellent, and the air conditioning cooled and heated quickly, making our stay in the room very comfortable. The cleaning staff were thorough, ensuring every nook and cranny was spotless. The value for money is incredible. My friend and I had a very pleasant New Year's Eve here! We'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"We stayed in a twin room with our child. The single bed was a bit small, and I'd recommend adding a safety rail to prevent kids from falling off! The breakfast selection was pretty average in variety and taste, a mix of Chinese and Western. Maybe it's because I'm from the North, and my palate is different. I really don't understand the policy that kids over 1.2m have to pay (ours wasn't over this height). I mean, surely kids don't eat independently until at least third grade, and younger kids need an adult with them. If it's a family room, it would be very inconvenient for families with older children! Everything else was standard; there's no self-service laundry or robot delivery. The room was great, clean, and the service was good too. One thing though, I was never informed my room was ready. I only received a text that it was clean after I had already checked in, tired with my child, back at the hotel."
