"I had an excellent stay at this hotel and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and well designed, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. Special thanks to Ah Fei, who was really helpful in recommending routes to halal restaurants, arranging a pickup from the railway station (which was very convenient), welcoming us with tea upon arrival, and even providing us with an oxygen tank for free, which we truly appreciated. He also upgraded our room for free and made a special room decoration for our honeymoon, making our stay extra memorable and romantic. For Malaysians looking for Chagee, you’ll be happy to know the shop is very near to the hotel as well. From check-in to check-out, everything was smooth and well organized. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and would love to stay here again🫶🏻❤️🤩🤩🤩😊😊"

"The host greeted us with peeled apples, which was very refreshing after a long journey and we arrived late at niaht so it was verv helpful to calm our stomachs. They also helped us bring the luggages (we brought a lot and was very heavy ). The location is very steategic, super close to Lijiang Old Town and the environment is very quiet so it's super comfortable. Even though the accessibility is quite difficult especially for families with elders, but the hosts were super helpful and always available and ready to help 😊 Thank vou so much, host. The room was super warm too despite the cold weather outside. And the view from my room was really beautiful too"

"Really enjoyed our stay we ended up extending our stay by one day and decide to return to it after our 3 day shangrila trip. It’s become our home away from home. The concierge is so sweet and helpful. I added them on WeChat before my trip to do my Taobao haul and they picked up and stored all my packages and then took them to our room. They helped us take our luggage up and downstairs, answer all of our questions. Amazing friendly staff. The room is super clean, and the view of the mountain is half the reason we booked and didn’t disappoint. Floor to ceiling window on 4th floor was so nice. Shower pressure is amazing, hot water comes quickly. Bath products smell awesome, and Dyson hairdryer and the towel is so nice and absorbent! The beds are very comfy that my friend can’t stop commenting on it! And for me everything felt just right that I got to comfortably fall asleep. Beddings were very comfortable, soft to the skin, blankets are warm with nice weight. There were also two different pillows to pick from and the gel feeling one was so easy to sleep on. And all the buttons near the nightstand to open the curtains both blackout and privacy, different lights and heater/ac was very convenient! I get to turn off everything with a touch of a button. There was a giant humidifier in the room that can last all night and more, small fridge with different drinks for free including my fav Perrier sparkling water. First night there we joined for the yak butter tea ceremony and met the owner and some of the other guests around the table. They had a lot of snacks out and also hand churned the butter tea and showed us how to do it as well. The owner also brought out ice wine from shangrila to share and was delicious as well. Awesome time. For breakfast, there are two aunties who made our breakfast fresh with delicious chicken bone soup that I slurped up right away, the local specialty noodle which was surprisingly delicious that I also slurped up even though I was trying to do lower carbs. My friend loved their porridge and their pickled veggies with it. The dining room is on the top floor with a balcony on the outside and floor to ceiling windows looking out. And we got to see the golden sunrise mountain while we enjoyed our delicious breakfast. The afternoon tea platter is lovely too! I’m also really excited to try the different teas when we get back. Location is close to old town but not inside of it so cars can drive underneath. Was easy for pickup for our different tours. Also easy to walk to old town as well."

"The stay was amazing! Although it’s up a mountain and requires taking a few flights of stairs, it’s absolutely worth it for the breathtaking views. The location was excellent—right near the north entrance of the ancient city, which made exploring very convenient. The hospitality was outstanding; the staff went above and beyond to help us with everything we needed, even carrying our luggage up for us. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable stay."

"You absolutely have to stay at this guesthouse when you come to Lijiang, or you'll regret it! The location is quiet yet convenient, and when you open the window, you're greeted with the traditional Naxi homes with their blue tiles and white walls – perfect for photos. The staff are as warm and welcoming as family. They helped us plan our daily itineraries and even lent us umbrellas and power banks for free. We didn't have to scramble for Jade Dragon Snow Mountain tickets; they arranged them for us. For the 'Eternal Love' show, they even got us seats in the middle section, so we had an amazing view. The Pu'er tea DIY experience was super fun, and the tea cakes we made ourselves became the best souvenirs, even the packaging was unique. We went with them to buy Pu'er tea and found several smooth-tasting varieties at much better prices than in the scenic areas. Now, every day when I drink tea, it brings back fond memories of Lijiang. I'll definitely stay here again next time!"

"Ambiance: Tranquil and secluded, a unique Chinese aesthetic. The entire room was filled with the scent of aromatherapy incense, which was incredibly refreshing. I loved the citronella essential oil and bought over 1000 yuan worth, getting a 30% discount – quite a good deal. Facilities: The open-air heated massage private onsen was fantastic. The room directly faced the 'Golden Mountain in Sunlight' view. Service: Our butler, Luna, provided excellent service. She helped us book a photography session in advance, arranged our room, including housekeeping, answered all our questions, booked our airport transfer, and took care of little things like the 'Little Turtle' welcome gift and bottled water. Highly recommend! The turndown service was particularly special: on the first night, we had a rose milk foot bath in a copper basin, and on the second night, it was a coarse salt foot bath in a copper basin. Breakfast was also good and came with a scenic view. One-way airport transfer between the hotel and Lijiang Sanyi Airport: The airport drop-off service was good. One complimentary ethnic costume photography session (requires booking at least 1 day in advance): I had already taken photos in ******* and Yi costumes a few days prior, so here I tried on Miao ethnic clothing, which was another great experience of local culture. I didn't add any extra photos beyond the included five. Seasonal welcome fruit: We received small fruit baskets on both days. In the evening, there were fresh juices and small cakes – red pitaya juice and orange juice. There was also a large cake in the fridge!"

"The owner is super kind and willing to arrange pick up for us from the airport at midnight. He even help to order food delivery for my husband because he was hungry upon arriving in the hotel. The room is very spacious, has smart system and a bidet! But it does not have underfloor heating so upon we first checked in, the room is cold. However after few hours the room started to get warm, and the owner actually let us on the aircond heater for 24 hours throughout our stay duration so it is not an issue anymore for the next day onwards. The owner also give us so many suggestion on what to visit in lijiang and always invites us for tea and give us flower cake. Breakfast is also nice, can choose between rice noodle / porridge. Overall it was a pleasant stay here and i will definitely come back here when i visit lijiang."

"The room is very spacious and the view is beautiful. The location is great, it feels like more of a local area whilst still being close to the old town, and we particularly enjoyed feeling slightly removed from the bustle. A steamed fish hotpot at yunmu Yao restaurant just down the stairs is not to be missed and was a highlight. Some details could be improved such as providing a bathmat and body lotion. There are also no hooks for the towels near the shower. Cleanliness was overall ok but some hairs in the shower were missed and there is a little bit of build up from hard water. Overall I would stay again."

The hotel environment was also superb, offering direct views of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Plus, it's super close to Shuhe Ancient Town, just a short walk away."
