"This was my first time at this hotel in Futian, Shenzhen, and the location is absolutely fantastic, right in the heart of the Futian CBD. They agreed to my request for an executive suite upgrade, but when I got there, they only had one room available. The room itself had a really strong musty and old smell, which was bad enough. But when I asked a staff member to come and smell it, they actually claimed they couldn't smell anything! I didn't even know what to say after that, so I asked to switch rooms. They told me the other room was still being cleaned and to wait in the original room for now, but didn't give me an estimated time. After an hour and a half, and countless calls between myself and the Trip.com concierge (seriously, seven or eight calls!), they finally told me the room was ready and someone would come to show it to me. But then another ten minutes passed and no one showed up, so I had to call again to rush them. To top it all off, the hotel didn't offer any apology or compensation for any of this – they were incredibly arrogant. I really don't have much else to say. And even though the room was large, the facilities were old, and there were no two-prong outlets, so I had to use an adapter to charge my devices."

"This was my first time staying at a Shangri-La hotel, and honestly, it wasn't as good as I'd imagined. The complimentary water in the room was Ice Dew, and there were only two bottles. That's incredibly stingy. For a five-star brand hotel, you'd expect at least Nongfu Spring or Wahaha. They're cutting costs to the point of no return. The last time I encountered Ice Dew in a five-star hotel was at the Gran Meliá Xi'an, about seven or eight years ago. I also tried the hotel's spa, and the price definitely didn't match the service. The woman at the front desk was also the masseuse, and frankly, her technique was very unprofessional. I ended the session early because of it. I would absolutely never choose it again. A good spa should add value and reputation to a hotel's brand. This one felt like it was outsourced. I'm guessing they charge too much for rent, and without making a profit, they just end up trying to fleece guests. I definitely won't choose it again."

"Great value for money, I was very satisfied with my stay. The room had a balcony, which allowed for good ventilation, and even came with a washing machine, which was very convenient. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and there was a separate kitchen where I could prepare light meals. The location is also very convenient, making it super easy to visit tourist attractions. Highly recommend!"

"I genuinely recommend this hidden gem of a hotel; my entire stay was fantastic! First off, the location is a huge plus – super convenient for both sightseeing/dining and commuting. No need for long detours, making getting around incredibly efficient. The room's cleanliness exceeded expectations; it was spotless, without a single overlooked corner. The bedding was soft and odor-free, and the hygiene facilities were very well-equipped. The readily available disinfectant everywhere made me feel very safe. The thoughtful details really stood out: the shower/foot wash stone was a brilliant design, specially made for larger guests, those with high blood pressure, and pregnant women to make showering easier. The drying hanger meant I never had to worry about clothes not drying on rainy days – these small touches really showed the hotel's care. The smart features were a definite bonus. The Xiaodu tablet in the room was a godsend for lazy people; I could control all the room's devices with just my voice – adjusting the temperature, turning on lights, or ordering services without even getting up. So convenient and smart! The intelligent toilet had full functionality and was comfortable to use, adding a touch of high tech. What I must praise the most is the front desk service. They greeted me with smiles, communicated gently and patiently, and when I had an urgent request, they not only responded quickly but also adapted flexibly to solve the problem. They truly delivered on every request, without any perfunctory or delayed responses, making me feel incredibly warm and valued. Overall, the value for money is exceptional, and the stay far exceeded my expectations. I will absolutely be coming back for a second visit!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, making it quick and easy to get anywhere. The lobby had a lovely New Year's atmosphere, which was quite cozy. Overall, my stay was very comfortable and satisfying. The butler also checked in on our experience, and even with a couple of minor hiccups, they were very proactive in helping us resolve them. I would definitely come back again if I have the chance!"

"The Grand Hyatt Shenzhen is conveniently located in the Luohu District, with the MixC shopping mall nearby, which is great for browsing. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and colleagues from every department – whether concierge, front desk, or housekeeping – are very enthusiastic. A special shout-out to Selina from VIP Services; she added me on WeChat and followed up in real-time about my stay, which was a very thoughtful touch. I'll definitely look for her again on my next visit."

"The Four Seasons Shenzhen is truly one of the best hotels in the city. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the friendly and attentive staff. Rachel, who assisted us during check-in, was exceptionally kind and helpful. Upon learning that we were in Shenzhen to celebrate our anniversary, she kindly upgraded our room and arranged a beautiful surprise with rose decorations and a cake. Thank you to the Four Seasons team for making our anniversary so special and memorable. The hotel is conveniently located near subway stations and Coco Park, making it very easy to get around. We initially planned to stay for three nights, but due to the hotel’s excellent location, comfort, and outstanding service, we decided to extend our stay by an additional two nights. The Four Seasons is now our top choice in Shenzhen, and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit. The only disappointment during our stay was the limited minibar selection, and the fact that soft drinks were charged. This did not quite meet our expectations for a five-star hotel."
