"The room was excellent, with comfortable bedding and a spacious layout. The bathroom didn't have a bathtub, which is a bit uncommon for Japan, but the space was still decent. The separate washroom area was practically laid out and spacious. The front desk staff were very patient. The male staff members were bilingual (Japanese/English), and the female staff members were also bilingual (Japanese/Chinese), making for a quick check-in process. The lobby on the first floor was quite spacious, providing a good spot for a temporary rest. They offered complimentary sugar-free beverages (available until 9 PM or 9:30 PM) and there was an ice machine. The location was also excellent. It's about a 7-minute walk to Sanjo subway station, and close to the bustling Sanjo and Shijo districts, roughly a ten to fifteen-minute walk away. You can also walk to Yasaka Shrine, which takes less than half an hour. I didn't pay much attention to what was around the immediate vicinity, and I was a little disappointed that there weren't any major department stores nearby, but since my stay was short, it didn't really impact my experience. Finally, a few minor points for improvement: The bathroom walls weren't tiled but rather made of plastic panels (a minor detail, not a big deal). Also, the number of washing machines and dryers was too limited – it seemed there was only one or two. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. If the price is right on my next visit to Kyoto, I would definitely stay here again."

"Facilities: The hotel is newly renovated and very quiet. Cleanliness: Spotlessly clean, with no unpleasant odors. Location: The location is superb. Shinkyogoku Shopping Street is right downstairs. To the west are the Kamo River and Gion. Sanjo is to the north, and the entire southern area is Shijo Kawaramachi. Service: The front desk staff speak fluent and clear English, making communication seamless."

"The hostel is really close to Kyoto Station, about a five-minute walk, and there are supermarkets, malls, and plenty of restaurants nearby. They have check-in guides in Chinese, the entire hostel feels quite new, it's clean and tidy, and there's an elevator. The common area even has a Nintendo Switch. Plus, you can store your luggage for free after check-out."

"This capsule hotel was a great experience ! The capsule itself was big, the bed was comfortable. The common area had a nice vibe with people chilling all around. Very good location! I would definitely like to come back :)"

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a short distance from major attractions such as Kiyomizu-dera Temple and Sanjusangendo Temple. A bus stop conveniently located right outside the entrance provides easy access to all parts of the city. Our room was equipped with amenities like an in-room washing machine, a dedicated drying space, and a microwave, which was perfect for our family trip with children. We would definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit to Kyoto."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect — right in the heart of Kyoto city. It’s just a short walk to both the train and bus stations, which made getting around super convenient. Plus, it’s very close to major shopping malls Takashimaya where you can buy Marukyu koyamaen matcha. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and the staff were very friendly. They also have a washing machine and dryer available, which is really convenient for longer stays. However, there’s only one of each, so if it gets busy, you might need to wait your turn. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto! They also has nearby Izakaya that the owner was so kind and foreigner friendly welcome."

"Good location near Gyon district. Very big and spacious room. They don't have luggage service, room cleaning, but you can leave trash behind the door and they collect it. The y have easy checkout, just fill survey before booking starts and scan QR code in the hotel"
