"We stayed at Rim Pae Resort, a place that holds a lot of memories for me. I used to come here many times with my family when I was a child, and this time we decided to return together with my boyfriend. We really loved our stay. The atmosphere was incredibly quiet and peaceful, which made it perfect for relaxing and slowing down. Our room was spacious and very clean, with a large, comfortable bed. Everything felt well maintained and cozy, so we felt at home right away. The only difference compared to my childhood memories was that we visited during the off-season. The beach was almost empty, and there were hardly any vendors or boats, whereas I remember it being much livelier before. Still, this calmness had its own charm and made the stay even more relaxing. Overall, we truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to come back again in the future!"

The food selection is good and varied, with many Thai options like rice soup and khanom chin, as well as international choices like sausages and fried eggs. However, I forgot my glasses and couldn't find them. Good thing they weren't expensive items."

"We were visiting from Russia. My daughter and I were on vacation. We stayed in a Deluxe room in Building B (a separate room) at the back of the hotel grounds. In my opinion, this was one of the best hotels on the beach. It's very Thai and vintage. It feels calm and peaceful. It's truly perfect for relaxation. The hotel isn't crowded, or rather, it doesn't feel crowded. Across from the hotel is a fish market. There's no smell from the market, but inside the market there's a wonderful cafe with blue tables right next to the fishing boats, where the food is delicious. 👍 A sun lounger costs 30 baht per day, but you need to walk a little to the right of the hotel; it's 50 baht per day across from the hotel. The sea is magnificent. Warm. The slope is gentle. The pool deserves special mention. It's spotless, gorgeous, and deep. There's a small caveat: there aren't many sun loungers, but that's not a problem. You can relax on the chairs, or you can get up early and grab a spot at 8 a.m. when the pool opens. We mostly spent time at the seaside and used the pool in the evening, so it was always free. The breakfasts are very good for a two-star hotel: two kinds of soup, two or three hot dishes, two or three kinds of fruit, a salad bar, delicious coffee from the coffee machine, fruit salad, drinks (juice, lemongrass tea, herbal tea), toast, banana muffins (we were quite full), omelets, boiled eggs, and steamed buns. There's a 7-11 on both sides of the hotel. However, I didn't like the massages they offer next to the 7-11, which is to the left of the hotel, due to the price and quality. They just massaged your feet. We didn't go for any more massages there. I recommend taking a bike with a cart if you're with a family and riding to the right along the shore; there are massage parlors there."

The view was absolutely stunning, and the sunset was incredibly beautiful. Enjoying a hot pot meal with that sunset atmosphere was truly special. Most importantly, the air conditioning was refreshingly cool, and it felt new. I'd give it a 10/10!"

"The hotel is small, pleasant, cozy, and a bit minimalist. Of course, you absolutely need a car to get to this hotel – there's nothing within walking distance around it. However, everything else at the hotel makes up for it. The architecture is interesting – a mix of castle-like and Thai styles. The sea is gorgeous, right next to the hotel, and during high tide, it's right by the hotel cafe. The entry is gentle, and the water is clean. Sometimes rubbish washes ashore, but an old man with a broom cleans it up every morning. The pool is good, and while there aren't many sun loungers, there were always some available. Most of the tourists are from Asia and don't sunbathe much. The breakfasts are very, very good. I especially liked the restaurant itself – it felt more like a proper restaurant than a typical breakfast cafe. The table settings were nice, and everything was cleared away quickly. However, the rooms... If the hotel is a castle, the rooms are like monastic cells. They're not necessarily small, but they're decorated in dark tones, which feels a bit unwelcoming. There's a small, 'castle-style' window. The bathroom is tiny – you hit your elbows while drying off, and there's even a wardrobe in the bathroom! Even if you book a room with a balcony or pool access, the balcony is recessed into the room, making the room itself feel even smaller. And the bed linen is cheap and thin. It seemed clean, but it looked old. The cleaning was good, though. But the room didn't spoil our vacation at all. If we're ever in Rayong, we'll definitely stop by for a couple of nights!"
