Hotel berhampiran Castaway Yoga, Ko Lipe

Upon arrival at reception, I immediately noticed the sewer and old food smell above the kitchen. -note to self, do not eat here- For the price we paid for a beachfront villa we were handed a plastic card to trade in for a beach towel as if we were at a hostel. Not a very nice beach towel by the way. Over washed and clearly been recycled a few years. The villa (111) was spacious and on the beach. The bathroom is enormous. However, hasn't been cleaned properly in eons. The drain in the shower is open, so don't take your jewelry in with you. Also gives off a powerful aroma of sewage when the shower is going. The villa is walled by glass doors ensuring a great view of the beach and everyone that is planted on the beach and directly next to the villa. The curtains are not blacked out. Very light up at night. The cocktails we ordered from the bar had zero mixers or juice. Tasted more like kerosine than a drink. The Mali resort next door is awesome for cocktails and they let you take it back to the room. Just return the glassware. The bed was not bad - One pillow, really? Do I need another plastic card to trade in? Breakfast- hmm. Caters to Chinese culinary splish splash. Not even Thai options were available. No fresh juice. No musli. No bacon. The meat that is offered is highly mechanically separated and processed. The coffee comes out of a machine, and regardless of the button you choose, it all tastes the same - muddy water. Did I mention the Mali resort? Awesome breakfast options for 250THB. Superb coffee. Overall, we enjoyed the balcony on the beach and the drinks and snacks at the Mali resort. For the price we paid, we'll be back at the Ten Moons Resort.

Pilih kabin mewah dengan pemandangan laut dengan berhati-hati, ada tikus! Saya bangun dengan rasa mual di tengah malam, tetapi perkhidmatan hotel masih dalam talian Mereka segera datang untuk mengaturkan kami menukar bilik, ke bilik deluxe taman Terdapat sedikit kebocoran, tetapi ruang keseluruhan dan hiasan telah digantikan dengan yang baru. Ia masih ok, dan mereka telah ditukar untuk kami pada keesokan harinya. Apabila kami tiba di suite pemandangan kolam renang dengan akses ke kolam renang, tiada tikus di kawasan itu, jadi bilik itu keseluruhannya okay. Kualiti air laut di pintu masuk hotel ini sangat sederhana. Hanya berjalan beberapa langkah ke Salem dan Oktober dan ia akan menjadi sangat cantik. Hotel ini boleh ditempah dengan pemandangan kolam renang atau taman yang mewah. Jenis bilik lain tidak disyorkan! Bilik taman biasa terletak di sebelah daftar masuk, agak jauh dari tepi laut!

Live pada 15hb, hanya untuk satu malam. Tetapi saya sangat, sangat, sangat suka hotel ini! Mungkin perkara yang paling menyusahkan ialah menaiki tangga. Saya tinggal di akira untuk tiga hari pertama. Katil di sini sangat selesa, dan tilam di sini lebih menepati citarasa saya; ada langsir katil yang sangat praktikal, menghalang nyamuk dan udara sejuk dari penghawa dingin; kemudian ada kualiti air, saya tidak maklumlah hotel ni ada penapis air sendiri, kualiti air lagi bagus dari hotel di bawah. Kerana saya membawa penapis mandi, saya jelas merasakan bahawa kualiti air tidak teruk. Kami mengalami hujan lebat di sini pada waktu malam, tetapi setiap orang yang membuka tingkap pada keesokan harinya sangat cantik! Hotel ini mempunyai pantai sendiri dengan Moon Hotel, di mana anda boleh snorkeling terus, dan terdapat papan kayuh percuma, tetapi bot tidak berwarna-warni dan cantik seperti tempat-tempat lain yang menghabiskan wang. Meja penyambut tetamu hotel ini sangat, sangat baik dan mempunyai ingatan yang mendalam. Pelayan di sini juga sangat baik.Ada seorang warga asing yang bertugas utamanya.Sayang saya tidak bertanya namanya, tetapi ketika saya mula-mula datang ke sini, saya nampak sedang memotong pokok dan membersihkan lalang. Saya rasa seperti pengurus atau pemilik! Sarapan pagi adalah sangat baik dan lebih daripada mencukupi, dengan bakul roti yang banyak. Kami mempunyai hari yang indah di sini. Semoga berpeluang pergi lagi tahun hadapan! Oh, dan restoran hotel di atas batu mesti dicuba, pemandangan dan makanannya sangat bagus.

Apart from being almost on the beach itself, this place is a bit overrated as far as overall quality of certain aspects of their offer in services and amenities. Room is confortable, view from it is fabulous but…the pillows are horribly hard, woke up with a sore neck, the food at their restaurant is kind of ok if you choose Thai food but for American food, it is, let say, less than average, there are some choices that they scratch from their menu because they just don’t know how to cook it, simple thing bruschetta, club sandwich, breakfast is also pretty boring if you not Asian; cold and uncooked chicken sausages, cold chicken ham presented in cold water bowl, coffee is good though and toast are great, I ended up eating that only…last déception, beach access from beach front villa number 2 you need to walk about 200 meters right to the marina entrance or 200 meters left to the restaurant to get access to the beach that is about 20 meters right in front of your room. There is a concrete wall, high of about 1.6 meters that separates you from the beautiful white sand beach. See photos attached…

Lokasinya bagus, hanya satu minit berjalan kaki dari jeti. Beritahu hotel lebih awal bahawa mereka akan mengambil bot, dan kakitangan akan membantu membawa kotak dari pantai ke dan dari jeti dan hotel. Kakitangannya mesra dan baik, dan perkhidmatannya mesra dan sesuai. Kemudahan bilik agak baru, dan bilik pool sangat sesuai untuk keluarga ibu bapa dan anak. Sarapan pagi juga baik, dengan semua yang anda perlukan untuk makanan asas. Pada sebelah malam, terdapat aktiviti layan diri dan bermain secara langsung dan menyanyi di pantai hotel, dan suasana juga merupakan bahagian yang paling digemari di Pantai Pattaya. Di sebelah pintu masuk jalan pejalan kaki, sangat mudah. Ia adalah pilihan terbaik untuk pergi ke Koh Lipe, dan saya akan memilih untuk tinggal di sini lain kali.

We booked to stay in a fan cottage for 3 nights via the hotel’s own website which had a rate of 900THB per night which seemed better than that on booking engines. First impressions were that it’s a large ‘resort’ right on the beach next to where the speedboat ferries dock and adjacent to Walking Street which is 5 minutes walk away (though we heard no noise from it). There are a range of rooms- cottages with a/c and a block of rooms which also had a/c. There are about a dozen fan only cottages at the rear of the complex. Ours was rustic but clean with intact insect screens and a large bed. The bathroom was half open which was good for drying towels etc. All cottages have a balcony, ours was shaded by trees which kept the room cool though the fan worked well too and we actually slept better than we had in a/c rooms. Only downside to the room was no fridge. It had an old fashioned TV but who watches TV anyway on a Thai island?! Breakfast was included in the price- buffet style with Thai and western dishes. It was nothing special but eatable and enough to put you on until lunch. We liked Ko Lipe and were happy with the room so decided to stay for an extra 2 nights and that’s where we had problems. Again we booked on the hotel website and received a confirmation. We then received an email in broken English which we interpreted as saying the fan bungalows were all full and we would be ‘upgraded’ to an a/c room. We replied that we were already in the room so it would make more sense to upgrade someone else. After getting no response we attempted to clarify the situation with reception. I don’t speak Thai so can’t criticise people for not speaking a foreign language but when dealing with mostly European guests you would expect at least one member of staff to have the basics of English. Unfortunately not. We ended up in a confusion of Google translate messages with a teenage girl who was clearly sick (coughing, sneezing, red eyes and nose) and shouldn’t have been at work. I ended up speaking to ‘a manager’ on the mainland by phone but still couldn’t get any sense from them. Eventually we resorted to replying by email and were eventually told we could stay in the same room. You can go into any tour operator on Walking Street and find staff who speak excellent English. Why the hotel are unable to find staff with foreign language skills is beyond me. My guess is they are employing cheap intern labour from mainland tourism schools which is fine for basic check in and out but they should have at least one person who can communicate with guests if there’s a problem. The majority of rooms seemed empty when we stayed, the exception being the fan rooms which were very good value and always seemed booked out. Maybe the hotel could look at a way of turning off the a/c in some of the bungalows and selling them at a fan room rate? In summary, we were happy with the location of the hotel, the facilities and the room. The stay was spoilt somewhat by a disorgan

Perfect resort, main swimming pool was brilliant located near beach for quick dips into sea, pool bar was a bonus, staff were amazing, swim up pool room was great, room was good size and comfortable we had extra bed for child aged 11 and was perfect.. excellent location close to walking street Only bad bit was there was a smell from neighbouring complex as we walked to our room, but can’t complain as it’s not this hotels fault Room had joining doors and on first night there was a lot of noise from room next door, but reception called them without issue and they did quiet down to an acceptable level..

Beautiful little gem right on the mountain top of Koh Lipe. It has an amazing view from the restaurant and amazing view from room (we booked the one with sea view and did not disappoint!) Unfortunately there are some unused facilities, but I do think that this resort has huge potential could soon be a 5 star!! Staff are kind and helpful, even though sometimes they can’t understand, I guess they deal mostly with Thai tourists but you can understand them easily. Restaurant only serves breakfast (free!) and lunch which is good enough as from 6pm they have free shuttle that takes you to the walking street where you can easily find somewhere to have dinner. Will definitely come back ❤️

It is situated between sunrise and sunset beaches with small but beautiful private beach with island view and golden sand. We had a parter pull view room. It was modern fubrished but with a zing of Thai elements. Very clean and filled with everything you could need. Staff is very helpful! Hotel picked us up from the speedboat and also gave us a ride back. Breakfasts are very European( which can be a plus or minus depends on your need) , so if you would like to try something local you need to go out outside. We had a chance to see most of the hotels on the island and this one is our favourite by a mile!

Stiamo soggiornando al Sita e ci staremo ancora 6 giorni devo dire che la nostra scelta è stata davvero azzecata ! Camera grande,pulita e confortevole, staff gentile e competente e pronto a soddisfare le nostre richieste dalle prenotazioni del ritorno alle indicazioni su qualsiasi cosa .La struttura fornisce molti servizi dal tuk tuk per raggiungere la camera ai teli sempre puliti e in ordine . La colazione è asiatica e continentale forse noi Italiani gradiremmo qualche brioche ma va bene e ci si adatta , il ristorantino sulla spiaggia fa bevande alla frutta fantastiche e i piatti sono buoni se non si vuole andare lontano. Punto spiaggia fra i più belli dell'isola e mi sento di consigliarlo .
