An incredible stay at Mira Montra from start to finish. We were so impressed by the service, including pick up from the boat (which we didn't even explain when we were due to arrive), the free kayaks/paddle boards, the complimentary afternoon tea, quality of the rooms and the caring nature of the staff. They helped to arrange and drop us off at our next boat, which made it much less stressful. We really enjoyed the breakfast. The view was to die for, and the resort itself was a close bike ride to the other bars/restaurants. We can not comment about the lunch or dinner in the hotel as we ate elsewhere and also rented a bike from down the road. I'm so glad we made this trip and chose to stay here. I would definitely recommend!

Nous avons choisi ce lieu sans trop connaître l’île de ko mak. L’hôtel est très agréable, environnement verdoyant, les huttes sont jolies et propres, la piscine est un grand plus et agréable. Le seul souci est qu’il faut louer un scooter pour se déplacer, ce qui a été fait en passant par l’hôtel.

What a hidden gem! We have been to Koh Mak before and this is the best hotel we have been staying on. We stayed on the hotel on the other side of the street but it was terrible so we changed to Islanda and I wished we had boked Islanda in the first place. It’s clean, no insects in the room, very good food, the staff is amazing, the breakfast is really good and the view - the best view in Koh Mak!! The hotel looks newly renovated now after covid and I really hope they keep this standard! We had the room with pool view and then we upgraded to the room with both pool view and sea view which both was amazing. The location is also great, really close to everything but still very calm (no dogs etc). We are going home tomorrow but if we go back to Koh Mak this is definitely the hotel we will stay on!

This was our second stay at Ao Pong Resort - and we enjoyed it as much as our first stay! This time we spend 9 days. Ao Pong Resort is a small and quiet place at the southeast part of the island with a private beach. The (Deluxe) bungalows are very nice. Not only the sleeping/living room is big, but also the bathroom area is spacious with separate bath and toilet rooms. The balcony is also very large with an awesome sea view. There is refrigerator, a fan, and air conditioner in the bungalows. The small private beach just outside the bungalows offers nice snorkeling opportunities. The Ao Pong Resort kitchen offers a delicious all day menu at reasonable prices. There is restaurants and convenient stores in walking distance. We rented a motor bike from the hosts which enabled us to get around the entire island very easily. The host couple are REALLY nice and will do their absolute best to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Хорошее обслуживание, очень классные номера. Немного расстроило отсутствие пляжа-сильный отлив, вулканические камни, купаться невозможно. Но до хорошего пляжа пять минут на байке. В целом хорошо подойдет , если хотите тишины и отсутствия людей
