Warm stay, appealing food and cordial staff... Simran, Karthik, Sujith and the staffs in the restaurant were really helpful and hospitable. One of the best room with aesthetic view of the beautiful lake... Will surely be in the list for the next trip. Enjoyed the stay.

Right from the moment we try to book online till the time we depart , its been a wonderful experience with Carlton Kodaikanal. Every staff's life aim is to make the guests fully comfortable and make them feel special in every way. We had an interconnected pool facing room and it was very very comfortable. Excellent breakfast & dinner spread daily . Local sightseeing & boating on a shikhara was amazing. Inhouse activities were also entertaining for all age groups. This stay at Carlton will be cherished forever.

Beautiful heritage hotel with a strong pedigree.. great location.. well mannered and courteous staffs. Super food. Their amenities are good.. the restaurant, the parking, the club all are well maintained and clean. The restaurant staff will go above and beyond for your needs. My boys were catered with chocos and hot milk even for dinner. Chef prepared chicken noodles for my kids out of his way. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Wil come back again here while visiting kodaikanal

Well maintained rooms in the center of city. The view of lake was fantabulous..The staffs were very courteous especially kanna and Vinoth in housekeeping and Iswarya in restaurant... Each time they ensured we were very comfortable..Doctor on Call and food not on menu was also served when requested.... So over all happy to stay in such a calm property which made us refreshing....

I have an amazing experience with this hotel .my family has enjoyed lot.i was so pleased with the service received from the this hotel staff .Ms.Simran GRE she is very polite and her communication is excellent she is very clearly explained about all the needs.overall all staff is very good .the rooms were spacious and spotless,with great decor and crisp bed sheets.

One of the best properties in Kodai . Location is probable the best . The staff at the hotel are very courteous . Especially Christipher and Anand are very helpful and cooperative . They take extra care of guest and hospitality. The place has its own vibe

We stayed in The Carlton for 4 days and 3 nights. Pros - The staff in Carlton were very good. We want to specifically appreciate Senrayan for assisting us very well during our stay. He was very friendly and very polite. Kudos to him and other staff, especially, in their in-house restaurant for providing a very good customer experience. - The Carlton is right next to the Kodai Lake and the views from the balcony in rooms facing the lake are very picturesque - The Carlton also has an old world charm and has a quaint interior. It has very well maintained lawns and overall the property is well maintained. Cons - In the room, we were given, there was abysmally poor soundproofing. We could literally hear every word spoken by the guests staying in the other room and they could have easily heard every small sound from our room. This led to a huge lack of privacy for us which is such a deal breaker. There was a door connecting the two rooms that was sealed shut. However, the presence of that door seems to show that the 2 rooms were probably meant for a larger group of guests to occupy as a single unit. The management seems to have converted that into 2 separate rooms which created a gaping lack of privacy. We brought this to the attention of the hotel but still had to spend 2 nights in that room and were moved to a different room only on the 3rd day. One expects better from a hotel like ‘The Carlton’ and not falter on something like basic soundproofing of rooms.

I love the hospitality . The way people treats u here is amazing and sply Anand sir . I had fast on one of those days so they made the special arrangement for me and I was so touched by this kind behavior of them. Must recommended for an amazing stay.
