The hotel is quite far from Kofu station and the closest bus stop. If you have heavy luggage, be prepared for inconvenience or take a taxi. The room was big enough and pretty cozy. The breakfasts were very nutritious. We visited Kofu because of the wineries there. The local wine is amazing, so the city is worth to visit.

A bit expensive for the city. Free parking available but few spots. Cheap parking in front of the hotel, 600¥ 24 hours.10 minutes walking from the castle and the train station.

There's another Toyoko Inn near Kofu Station, but this one was great because it was cheaper, even though the public transport access was ever so slightly less convenient. It's located right in front of Kofu Castle, which was perfect for an early morning stroll. After an early breakfast, it was also close enough to walk to Takeda Shrine. The breakfast itself was also neatly prepared.

The hotel's location is excellent, very close to Kofu Castle and the pedestrian street. The room was clean, tidy, and cozy. Breakfast was abundant, and the front desk staff were very welcoming. I would definitely stay here again!

Close to Kofu station, check in system couldn't recognize my name or phone number so the staff had to check me in anyways.

Due to a last-minute change in my itinerary, this was the only hotel I could book. They have another branch, Hotel 2, located across from the station, but this one is behind Maizuru Castle Park. If you don't have much luggage, you can walk directly through the park from JR Kofu South Exit. Breakfast is included in the room rate. The room was spacious enough for a 29-inch suitcase, though the decor and furnishings are a bit dated.
