Hotel berhampiran Klong Son, Koh Chang

We have just returned from a month at this lovely resort. It was amazing! The rooms are huge, bright, airy, spotless and have great views. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful and served literally on the beach. You can watch fish swimming and hear the waves- it’s a stunning location. There are 3 large pool areas to choose from. All are spotless, with plenty of Sun loungers, Bean bags, tables and chairs, bars and clean toilet/shower facilities. There are plenty of shaded areas to sit/lie in too! The beach is perfect for young children- as it is very long, shallow and sandy, but we swam every day in the sea- some days you just have to walk out quite a bit. There was some construction, maintenance and repair work going on around the resort while we were there, but this did not spoil our holiday at all. My favourite part was the Shambhala Beach Bar- it was absolutely gorgeous! The food and drink prices at the hotel were very reasonable (£5/£6 upwards for 2 meals and water) and there are also plenty of places to eat nearby, just outside the resort & along the main road. We ate mainly at the little restaurant just by the entrance to the hotel grounds (£3 for 2 main courses and a large bottle of water!) and also at Khun Tees on the main road (£4-£5 for the same). It is a 10-15 minute walk down to breakfast/beach area, but it’s a lovely walk through all the on-site villas, gardens and waterways. The oath is well paced and even and if you can’t manage the walk- reception are happy to send a golf buggy to collect you from outside your room. We would definitely come back here again!

An absolutely stunning place to stay. Private villa is expensive but worth the money if sharing or you can afford it. Staff are very helpful and nice. They will get you everything you need, including free minivan service. Food is lovely. Big gym with everything in there. Pool is great. This place is better than the photos. I will be staying again and highly recommend it.

Plusieurs établissements du même groupe hôtelier se partagent le resort, mais le Peninsula semble le mieux de tous grâce à sa position sur la plage et à ses (peu nombreuses) chambres (grandes et très agréables). Elles sont entièrement fonctionnelles et la salle de bain est pratique et bien agencée. L'accès direct à la plage et la vue sur la mer sont deux plus bien appréciables, sans compter l'excellente insonorisation. L'éclairage est aussi très réussi, avec plusieurs combinaisons possibles, y compris des lampes de chevet. Enfin, chose rare, l'air frais de la climatisation n'arrive pas sur le lit puisque l'appareil est placé dans un coin discret (au-dessus de la porte). La plage est jolie, l'eau propre mais peu profonde. Le coucher du soleil est juste en face. Les points négatifs : il faut être motorisé, car l'hôtel est assez isolé. Le gros point faible est la restauration qui n'est pas à la hauteur du standing. Carte peu fournie (notamment en produits de la mer) et trop axée sur la clientèle occidentale, saveurs absentes. Toutes les activités sont payantes (kayak,..), c'est étonnant pour un établissement de ce niveau. Dernier mauvais point : la réception est incapable de donner le moindre renseignement sur les activités (par exemple, le snorkelling qui est censé être proposé), ils ne savent pas ou bien disent qu'il n'y a rien en ce moment. On sent malheureusement une absence d'attention au client et rien n'est fait pour répondre aux attentes (après 17h, plus de kayak, parce que le personnel avait envie de partir) : un gros point à améliorer pour maintenir un niveau de qualité.

We loved the pool and the beach was nice. People were nice and polite, the resort was very green and felt very tropical, with many palm trees. Amazing sunsets can be enjoyed from the beach, pool and the bar! On the con side, the food wasn’t great - e.g. undercooked red chicken, too sweet mango rice cake etc. Surprisingly bad food for Thailand. Breakfast was slightly better. Room cleaners didn’t really clean bathtubs, nor replace stuff provided for free in the toilet, collect dirty plates from the room. AC was the central one - pretty loud, and those sensitive wouldn’t find the bed or pillows comfortable. Overall, it was OK, but I wouldn’t go back.

Sehr schönes Hotel, stellenweise leider etwas abgewohnt, aber trotzdem noch ganz schön. Wir hatten ein Bungalow direkt am angrenzenden Fluss, was von der Lage her schön war, jedoch von Innen sehr Standard eingerichtet und ziemlich abgewohnt war. Zudem war es ganz leicht schräg. Aber das hält sich in Grenzen, darüber kann man hinweg sehen. Es gibt 2 schöne Pools in der Anlage mit ausreichend Liegeflächen. Zudem wird ein kostenloser Shuttle Boot Service zum Strand und zur den Fireflys angeboten. Wenn man Pech hat wartet man jedoch lange auf das Shuttle bis es einen wieder mit zurück nimmt oder man verpasst die Rückfahrt (18 Uhr), dann muss man ca. 25 min zu Fuß zurück gehen (Navi oder Ortskenntnisse nötig). Das Frühstücksbuffet ist leider nicht empfehlenswert, die Auswahl sehr klein und geschmacklich auch nicht so gut, dann lieber für kleines Geld auswärts frühstücken. Der Service an sich war völlig okay und sauber ist die Anlage auch. Von der Lage her ist ein Roller vorteilhaft, aber kein Muss, in 15-20 min Gehweg erreicht man auch das wichtigste. Das Wlan in den Zimmern ist okay, reicht für Netflix. Aber zum Arbeiten vllt. nicht so geeignet.

We have stayed at Koh Chang Paradise Resort several times and have loved our visit every time except this last time. My in-laws came from the USA for their first ever visit to Thailand, so we chose the Koh Chang Paradise Resort with full confidence that they would enjoy their dream beach vacation with excellent “Thai hospitality.” The guest relations employee, Alex, who has worked at this resort for over 7 years handled our check-in process at the Koh Chang Paradise Resort. His behavior towards us is the reason why we will never stay here again. The resort double-booked the beachfront room we had reserved for my visiting in-laws, but they didn’t tell us that. Instead, Alex said they would upgrade my in-laws to a brand new beachfront room for the last three nights of our stay. These rooms were literally still under construction when we arrived. The room was not ready the morning of the move, so my in-laws told the front desk before breakfast that they would rather stay in the room they already were using. The front desk agreed, so my in-laws went to breakfast. After breakfast Alex found my in-laws and assured them that the new room would be ready by the supposed move time later that same day at noon, but my relatives have young children and were afraid that if something wasn’t constructed quite right or if there were any construction materials left by accident that someone would get hurt. Also, my in-laws were heading out shortly for an elephant experience, so they would not be present at the hotel at noon when the move was supposedly happening. My in-laws politely declined the move, but Alex escalated the situation by raising his voice and forcefully trying to intimidate my in-laws to acquiesce to his will. This is entirely inappropriate! No one should ever talk to a guest in this way, ever! My in-laws needed to leave for the excursion, so I stepped in and had to interact with Alex. I am disappointed with how Alex managed himself. We have rights as guests, and he raised his voice at me and tried to intimidate me into saying that my in-laws would move. He told us that the guests who were arriving always came every year and booked the same room that my in-laws were using. It’s not our fault that the room got double-booked. In fact, why did Alex even give us the room knowing that this double booking could be a problem? Completely the resort’s fault and not ours. I’m disappointed that Alex tried to blame his mistake on us. We as hotel guests who were given that room had just as much right to stay there as these incoming guests. Alex made us feel like we were insignificant and had no right to stay in the room in his attempt to intimidate us into moving so that the “VIP” guests could have the room. It was the resort’s fault, and Alex made us feel terrible with his forceful yelling. We felt belittled. As Alex was yelling at me and being extremely pushy, I could tell that the Thai staff who were watching the whole situation felt embarrassed about how

Tempat itu hebat. Pasti akan ke sini lagi.. Kakitangan sangat mesra dan membantu! Kami mempunyai vila dan itu hebat. Katil dan bantal yang baik. Agak pendek apabila tinggi pada 185cm Hujan saya bagi 6 daripada 10 Sarapan pagi adalah 7 daripada 10 Dalaman 5/10 Bawa kord kuasa bersama anda kerana soket kuasa adalah terhad di dalam bilik. Semasa kita bercakap tentang masa covid saya tidak akan menyebut kawasan sekitar resort. - Penyelenggaraan!!!! Semasa penginapan kami, hujan turun dengan lebat dan di vila hujan menjadi kenyataan ke bumbung. Kertas dinding datang dari dinding. Kepala pancuran mandian tidak dibersihkan dengan sempurna Meletak kereta anda sendiri adalah satu perjuangan. Kami terpaksa meletakkan kereta di jalan? Jangan bersempadan untuk berjalan ke kaunter dan minum kopi sendiri. Anda masih perlu membayar semua kos perkhidmatan.? Langsir tidak ditutup sepenuhnya. + Kolam renang. Kakitangan. Lokasi. Pandangan.

I had an exceptional experience staying at Pajamas. I booked a private room that was clean, quiet but not too isolated if I wanted to socialise. The staff were incredible and the over all mood and feel of the residents was really lovely. If ever I needed any help the staff were so good about it. The beach is just a stone's throw away and the hostel has very convenient access. The sunsets are great. The only thing I wish I did differently was I wish I had stayed longer.

Sarapan adalah sederhana, dengan beberapa ***a, tanpa tumis, tetapi ***a Barat. Hotel ini mempunyai pantai persendirian, persekitarannya sangat baik, tetapi terdapat juga banyak nyamuk. Lokasi hotel agak separa, sangat menyusahkan untuk perjalanan tanpa kereta. Adalah disyorkan untuk melakukan perjalanan dengan kereta. Sikap layanan pelayan sangat baik. Kanak-kanak berumur lebih 2 tahun perlu mengenakan bayaran kepada 350 pokok untuk sarapan pagi, yang rasanya agak bermasalah. Apa yang boleh dimakan oleh kanak-kanak? Dan sarapan paginya sangat sederhana!

Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to Thailand and it was absolutely beautiful. The staff were so helpful and lovely, they really couldn’t do enough for you. One night we had left it too late to get any water from the local shop as it has closed- and the lady on reception sent house keeping to the room to give us two bottles of water- which we really appreciated!! The location of this hotel is perfect, you’ve got the beach and a pool to choose from- the beach is beautiful- so quiet and clean! The breakfast was great- not many English kind of options, only cereal, pancakes and fruit but lots of Thai options which my boyfriend enjoyed. The only negatives I would have to say was the wifi wasn’t great - it kept logging us out after an hour or and their were ants in our room but not many- they were only on walls now and again- but I’m such a clean freak and even i would stay there again- it really wasn’t that bad.
