We stayed from April 14th to 19th in a sea-view room. The cleaning service was good. They provided two 0.5L bottles of water per person, along with tea and coffee. There was one large towel (for both body and face, haha!). Beach towels were available at reception. The tap water was salty. The food was sparse with limited choices, but you definitely won't go hungry 😂. We dined at various cafes along the coast, and the prices were reasonable. There's a nice, small pool in a beautiful spot. But the main highlight was the SEA! It's stunning – clean, clear, and refreshing! There are high and low tides. When the tide is in, it gets deep right away 👍. The only downside was the daytime power outages. During our 5-day stay, the power went out twice for 2-3 hours. Without the AC, it got hot. Otherwise, everything was great. We 100% recommend it! 👍

This hotel is really showing its age. It's a shame they haven't replaced or renovated some things, like the wardrobe and the clothes dryer that are practically falling apart, or the shower with its moldy grout. The cleaning was generally done, but there was dust on ledges, on top of and inside the wardrobe, etc. And the sheets weren't changed once during our 5-night stay. Some of the staff weren't friendly at all – no 'hello,' no smiles. Thankfully, some were. The hotel beach is nice, but there aren't many shady spots. Unfortunately, these are often taken by non-hotel guests who don't buy anything, and the hotel does nothing to supervise this. The bar is right next to the beach, which leads to plastic cup and beer bottle litter that's never picked up during the day, even though the bartenders don't seem to have much to do... Good to know: all the tourist boats doing 1-hour excursions disembark at the hotel beach entrance (not at the pier, as we had assumed). The pool wasn't accessible for the first two days, and we weren't informed about it. Despite all this, we had a good stay; the island is beautiful, and our room on the upper levels had a magnificent view (be aware, not all rooms do: some overlook opposite balconies or tin roofs).

We chose a hillside room which gave us an excellent view to the sea, but this may be restricted for other rooms. The breakfast was great overall but fresh fruit choice was very limited or had run out. The restaurant food was also very good and the staff were all friendly and cheerful. When we left it was disappointing that our luggage was not collected at the time reception had agreed so we had to take it ourselves down the steep slope The bathroom needs a towel rail and it needs a much better light fitted. Despite this we'd definitely consider staying again - the location is perfect.

We had an incredible stay at this hotel! The location is absolutely perfect—it’s right on the beach, and the sand and water are stunningly beautiful. Our room was spotless and clearly well-maintained, which made our stay very comfortable. Also, a big thank you to the reception team for their warm welcome and professional service. We will definitely be back!

I spent 3 nights in total in this hotel and in Ko Nghai in general. The hotel is right on the beach, which gives you amazing views everytime you go to have some food or just want to chill at the bar. I was a little upset that i had no beach view from the villa, the layout was a little strange. Inside the villa was beautiful, looks new and was clean. If u book the awesome villas with the pool, u are set for the best place. The food was very average, but to be fair, the whole island does not really have great food, what a shame. Overall it was a peaceful and nice stay though.

Booked four nights with three different room types during Chinese New Year. When we moved to the family room, there was a power outage from 3 to 5 PM, and it got incredibly hot inside. The living room was downstairs, with two separate bedrooms and two bathrooms upstairs. The hotel is quite large for the island, but the overall facilities are very old and outdated. The front desk service was okay, but there was a male waiter in the restaurant who spoke a little Chinese and was very rude. When we were eating in their restaurant, he started clearing our plates before we were even finished, as if he was rushing us out. We tried a few restaurants on the island, and this one had the worst service by far! Oh, and the breakfast in the morning was absolutely terrible, with hardly anything worth eating.

We expected the room to be better. Main problem we did not have any view at all. They call it mountain view. A shame because with a bit of creativity every bungalow could have ocean views. Otherwise it is a spacy room with big bathroom. Friendly staff, brilliant beach and good breakfast. Minus points because they must have forgot to clean the toilet after last guests probably had an accident there. Other than that it was clean. Had been nice with some chairs or sofa just somewhere to sit.

Everything was great, the staff was excellent, especially the lady at the reception who cooks eggs and omelets in the morning, and the supervisor for the kitchen and waitstaff – all very charming and friendly. No problems or downsides whatsoever.

In this case, the phrase "value for money" has never been more fitting as a description. Overall, the hotel is good, with a wonderful location right by the beach (a beach with turquoise water). Yes, the rooms are a bit old, and there are some issues with cleanliness. But generally, everything is tolerable, and I can recommend it. This island is worth visiting (just don't forget your swimming shoes for the coral, as it's almost impossible to swim without them due to the risk of cuts or foot injuries). The staff was polite. We don't regret choosing it.

Good place for few days stay, value for money, good breakfast, lovely snorkeling place in front of the hotel!

This resort was in a nice position good bar on the beach breakfast good there was no electricity in the room from 10am to 3pm said fuel shortage the pool was a disgrace as it was green through no maintenance at all they had to close it which spoiled the stay there for us it could be a great place to stay with a bit of TLC

It’s very small island. Hotel has great location. It’s super quiet place. Great for 3-4 days to do nothing, just relax. Breakfast was limited, not so many choices. Dinner tasty. Mostly western food… Last point i beach, great snorkeling :).

The hotel staff were wonderful. The lunch and dinner were delicious, especially if you order Thai. The breakfast was a bit weak.

Overall, the experience was good. On this magical island, even a hut would be enjoyable. As for the hotel... breakfasts were decent, the bungalows were fine. We didn't go to the pool, and it seemed like no one else did either. I lowered the rating because I booked a room with a 'lake view,' but in reality, there are no lakes there, and the view was just of the wall of another room.
