Hotel berhampiran Ao Hin Khok, Koh Samet

アオプラオビーチは3回目で大好きなビーチです。 夜はどこのホテルに泊まっても、ここのイタリアンを食べに来るほどお気に入りで、スタッフも私達の事を覚えてくれていて感動しましま。 朝ごはんもとても美味しかったです。 オーダーするメニューは食べ終わった後に届きました。美味しかったのに時間がかかりすぎて残念です。 部屋のアメニティに歯ブラシが無いので持参した方がいいです。 ビーチチェアでタバコを吸っている人がいて、風で煙が来るので、喫煙所で吸ってもらいたいと思い、スタッフに連絡したら、スタッフが『あの人からのクレームが来てるから』と私を指先しました。 トラブルになりたく無くてスタッフにお願いしてるので、喫煙所があるので行ってくださいと言えばいいです。指を刺されてとても嫌な気持ちになりました。ビーチのスタッフ以外は皆さん笑顔で対応してくれました。

Отличное местоположение! Шикарный пляж! Хороший завтрак с видом на море! Жили в обычном бунгало, грязновато и старовато( слышимость сильная) всю ночь падают какие то какосы на крышу, то птицы кричат. Территория грустноватая, в вечернее время встретили 2 змеи небольшого размера, на одну из них чуть не наступил ребенок, поэтому передвигаться только с фонариком и смотрим под ноги! Люксы и семейные виллы говорят получше и выглядят посвежее. В целом бюджетно,жить можно! Вечером огненное шоу.

I have stayed at Flamingo Villa before (In the Garden Room), but this time I decided to stay in the loft room, which apparently is called the Family Room. Flamingo Villa is somewhat strange, since the ”Hotel” is basically three rooms within the Samed Your House hotel. Our neighbors actually knocked on our door to try and check in ~ You need to call the phone number for Flamingo Villa in order to check in, as someone will come out to meet you. So, bottom line up front: Flamingo Villa is awesome, but get ready to kill a lot of mosquitos! The owners do a good job of lighting incense sticks to try and keep the them away, but there are fountains around the area and the mosquitos are no joke. I would say I killed at least 10 in our room, so it is super important to make sure you close the sliding doors behind you every time you go in and out of the room. The Family Room was awesome. The lower floor is basically a living room with a large day bed and a big TV with great speakers. The toilet room is separate from the shower. The stairs to the loft are pretty steep, but once you get up there it is really nice. There are two queen beds in the loft, and the glass wall and sliding door separate the bedroom from the main room, which is great because the bedroom has its own AC unit, and the glass keeps out the mosquitoes. The beds were comfortable, but be careful because the ceiling is very low above the beds. The view from up in the loft is very peaceful, and the owners obviously spent a lot of time decorating the place (The Christmas tree was still up while we were there). The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Sai Kaew Beach, and the pier for the ferry is only a 10 minute walk ~ but you can take a mini bus if you would like. The hotel is close to restaurants and stores, and there are two 7-11s close to the beach. We rented a motor bike the last time we were in Koh Samed, but Sai Kaew Beach seems to be the nicest on the island, so we just hung out there. I love Flamingo Villa, and I am sure I will stay there again in the future.

We had a last minute booking after the resort we initially booked with cancelled on us the day before we were supposed to arrive . We were placed in a small cottage. It was basic but clean and had everything that we needed. Decent breakfast, friendly staff, great happy hour drinks. We only wish that the beach was cleaned of debris more often. And that the mosquitos were not so vicious!

After booking, I wrote them over Trip.com, but never got an answer. When we went there personally to ask the day before check-in, the front-desk lady ripped my phone out of my hand without asking, to “check the booking”. We checked in into a room on the first floor, which was in front of a shallow pool. Room was spacious, with the bathroom divided in three sections. In the toilet section, the window can’t be opened, and there is no ventilator. There is a safety box, a beach bag, two umbrellas, a fridge, a kettle, and even a Nespresso machine. However, even though there are two cups and two glasses, there is only one capsule of Americano and one capsule of Espresso, and you have to buy the water, rather expensively, at the bar. There is no laundry rack on the porch or balcony. Bedsheets were spotless, but the bed was wet, hence we woke the next morning feeling like we’d slept on the beach. There are no bedside lights. In the next room, the huge TV was dangerously dangling off its 360° stand, and the balcony was dirty, with only the bathtub being spotless. They have few employees and many managers, with the employees doing what they can for many hours a day. Breakfast options are very limited for people with a plant-based diet. Beach towels are not always available at the pool area. However, the white-sand beach is easily accessible, and there are many butterflies and birds around the property. It is very romantic and nature-bound.

I had an amazing stay at Kira Baya on Koh Samet and would definitely recommend it overall. Ace and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and always made us feel welcome throughout our stay. The rooms were exceptionally clean, very well maintained, and we felt comfortable from the moment we arrived. Both breakfast and dinner were enjoyable, with good variety and quality. We also really appreciated having access to the kayak, which added a fun touch to the experience. One thing to note, as others have mentioned, is that the beach in front of the property is quite stoney and could benefit from some cleaning. Additionally, the hotel is located at the far end of the island, so getting around requires some planning. There is a shuttle service available, but it is not included in the stay and not directly provided by the hotel, which is something other hotels tend to handle better. That said, I was able to rent a scooter for 100 THB per hour, which gave me a great opportunity to explore the island independently. Overall, despite a few minor inconveniences, this was a fantastic stay with excellent service, and I would happily return

I had a wonderful stay! As a solo traveler, I felt completely safe and at ease throughout my visit. The environment was quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to relax. The room was comfortable and well-kept, and the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The firework show was such a lovely bonus and made the experience even more special. I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend it.

Nice resort on a fine beach, it's well designed with majority of the rooms facing the swimming pool The only downside may be it is not connected to the drop off point, and there isn't much choice for the breakfast

Highly recommend Stellars Resort! Great service & nice clean room.  The staff was super helpful and the room was two thumbs.  Not located on the beach but it's just a short walk (about 4 minutes).  The village is also a short walk (on the way to the beach; same direction/same road),  so there are many restaurants / shops / places for massage etc... Also, can rent a motorbike from the resort easily if you want to drive the island & see other beaches.  Good breakfast & good swimming pools. Would definitely recommend!

The most important thing about this place is its owner. Alex is a wonderful and friendly local islander. He truly puts his heart into what he does and does everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as it can be. Have a problem? Just talk to Alex and he’ll do his best to help. Need advice? Ask Alex! I think the main idea is clear As for the place itself, it’s calm and quiet, yet close to the central part of the island where all the main shops are located. The beach is a 3-minute walk away, another one is about 5 minutes away — everything is nearby. The hotel has its own bar and a private area, peaceful and relaxing. The main issue is mosquitoes, but that’s not really the hotel’s fault — after all, there’s nature right behind the fence, and a very unusual one at that. We even saw a giant stick insect on the property for the first time ever, lol 🙂 The bungalow has all the basic essentials: a bed, air conditioning, a toilet, a shower, and a kettle. It might be nice to have a wardrobe or some storage for clothes, but that’s just a small nitpick. If you’re not picky and don’t need five-star service, but appreciate a warm and genuine welcome, I can highly recommend this place!
