Ulasan Prana Resort Nandana

The place is great --- peaceful and relaxing. The staff are very accommodating, helpful, and friendly (especially June, Golf, and Chat). It was my daughter's birthday during our stay and they took time to make it extra special. The view right in front of our room is awesome because it's at the beachfront! I wish we could have stayed longer and, given the chance, we will definitely choose Prana when we get the chance to come back in Koh Samui.

Firstly, it’s far from the action in Samui. That’s what we wanted, but may not be for others. The other big thing is there isn’t any sideways outside the resort so you’re often on gravel, sand and/or dodging traffic to explore local area. You’re better off walking along the beach and finding dinning spots from there. The hotel is divided on two sides of the road, with the restaurant and infinity pool on the beach side and the remainder of the hotel on the other. The infinity pool although a shallow 1.2m overlooks the beach and is the highlight. The restaurant was good although the breakfast isn’t of high quality. There is a small cafe 50m to the right of the entrance which we started going to for breakfast. We had a pool access room which was OK but the Lino flooring was coming up and the bathroom plumbing caused some issues with a very bad odour over last 2 days. You can’t put paper down the toilet which means you need to use the bin for the used paper. Not uncommon in Thailand but usually in lower cost hotels. I think the ocean view rooms are probably the nicest. You can’t rent a car from the hotel and they deliver it to the parking lot. Some nice restaurants along the beach which was lovely after a day by the pool. Enjoy

Nice resort! Amazing spa. The infinity pool is located across a busy street (there are crossing guards) unless you are staying in one of the oceanfront rooms on that side. I enjoyed my stay. It does seem to be a family place with lots of kids, which isn’t my preference as a single teacher on vacation, but it was still a good time.

stayed for four nights in this great hotel. two great pools. kayak and paddle board are free for hotel guests. everything is clean and well maintained great service

My stay at Prana was nice and calm. Staff is very friendly and helpful, facilities are ok, could be better but for that price is fine. Around are a lot of restaurants with tasty food. Gym could be bigger but luckily it is there at all. So if you are on budget Prana is good choice!

It’s not like a picture. but really not like.

I booked the Ocean Front Deluxe Room to have a quiet last day at the beach with ocean view. Unfortunately, loud constructions and a bar/restaurant with music made it impossible to be outside without noises. Apart from that the hotel is great. Service is good. I advice to doublecheck with the hotel regarding the construction and booking a cheaper room garden side of hotel to avoid the noise. Room was wonderful, clean and food was very good to. Breakfast had a nice selection. Transfer time to/from Airport is 10-15 minutes, thus perfect for arrival or departure day.

Have stayed at this hotel previously. Rooms are clean and modern. Food at hotel is great. The majority of the staff are great. There is a new bar located next to the hotel and the noise level reached 105 decibels according to my iPhone. I complained to the hotel and they said they could not do anything. I called the Tourist Police on 191 and went in person to the bar to complain. They then reduced the volume. This is something the hotel management should have done, yet never. I complained bitterly to their management, yet they were useless. If you want something done, clearly you need to do it yourself.

Excellent resort with everything you need. The restaurant food was also really good and affordable, highly recommend, you won’t regret it

Amazing service from the entire hotel staff. The hotel was extremely clean and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious and extensive.

The breakfast was below average, I wish that there was more Thai food, and that they changed what was on offer, it would help if the menu was changed daily. The waiters were super kind, friendly and helpful, always with a smile on their face, and trying to engage with us. The room was fairly comfortable though we did have issues with the water in the shower, not going down the drain. I did ask for someone to check it out and on the first day it worked but throughout the stay we still had a problem with the drainage. The pool is opposite the hotel, you need to cross the road to get there, please keep this in mind. We hired our own car, and parked on the property which was locked and we had peace of mind.

A bit far from the main area, but perfect for family stays! Very clean, staff were very professional. We loved both the resort and infinity pools!
