We are spoiled with abundant choices in Koh Samui and we picked the stellar one - Napasari, A Belmond Hotel. Our priorities are 1. excellent weather 2. Private & nice sand beach 3. Excellent sports and wellness facilities 4. Sense of privacy and serenity, Full score on all dimensions but above all the staff. Chud the wellness and fitness manager has been unreal. You keep the team and all the facilities in top notch conditions. We will come back becoz of you.

We had an amazing week in Napasai. We stayed at a 3-bedroom waterfront villa with our own pool and beach. The villa was lovely and grounds very attractive, but it was quite far from the main area where breakfast, gym etc are located. The positive side of this was that it was nice and quiet and mostly we didn’t mind the walk and when it was too hot, the team running the buggies were very prompt and helpful. We found the reception team, especially Ae and Beer, extremely helpful, organising us drivers for various trips. I would advise guests to rent a car or ask for a driver to take yourself elsewhere in Koh Samui for dinner. The hotel breakfast is lovely, but we were not blown away by either of the restaurants for dinner. My only word of caution is for travellers with younger children: the villas are not actually a single building with a central lounge, but separate buildings. So our 3-bed villa was four separate buildings, all on different levels on the hillside. For us, with older children this was not an issue, though we would have felt more together if we’d been in one apartment. I imagine the hotel would advise against this type of accommodation if someone had smaller children.

We enjoyed our stay, the staff were great, particularly at breakfast service and at the beachfront. We were woken at 6am daily by the sprinkler system hitting the bungalow, and housekeeping knocking at 7.30 am, so make sure you put your rope over the entrance which means do not disturb. I asked at reception if they could move the 6am starts, so I wish I’d done that after the first one as they did change it until later. We got taxis to Fisherman’s village which was great in the evening, and close by. We ate at the restaurant one night, but found it no better than where we started going, and much more expensive.

The hotel needs updating I had few issues with my room and the restaurant need to have more variety of food on the menu. Breakfast was ok . I will not stay there again. Staff is friendly but the hotel manager need to learn more how to deal with customers complaints

An excellent hotel in a quieter part of Koh Samui. The staff were excellent and went the extra mile to meet our requirements. The rooms are spacious and our had a wonderful view of the beach and ocean. When we mentioned the bathrooms was a little dated and the bath/ shower was challenging to enter, we were offered either an upgrade(declined as no sea view) or additional handles to assist with getting into the bath/shower. The work was completed in 10 minutes. Amazing service. The hotel has excellent facilities including a number of daily complimentary activities. Breakfast was wonderful and the staff would always help if we wanted something that was not on show. Beach was very clean and the beach team made sure we remained well hydrated.
