Best part about the property was location, everything else was average. The room was spacious but there were flys and insets. The service was okay, you will get what ask for but the staff didn’t put any extra effort.

The location very convenient, central to many restaurants , shops. The rooms are basic, but not small, have a tiny terrace, nets on the windows.

Wasn’t really impressed by The Hive. A bit outdated and lot of noise from the walking street. However: I always find it difficult to write or read a review, since others might not know what ones benchmark is. Friendly staff. Breakfast so so and as said before a bit outdated.

I always stay at the hive, its a great hotel with great staff and facilities, its central to everything you could need Would highly recommend

Nice beach. Beautiful green area. The shower and sink in the room drained poorly. The hotel is good, livable.

The hotel was very nice, they greeted us with a cooling towel and mango juice! We wanted to check into a bungalow (villa), but they were all booked; we only needed a night. The buildings are close by, the room is small, and the downside is there's no large mirror in the room, only in the bathroom. The balcony is spacious, but for some reason. ))) The pool is large, the breakfasts are excellent, I had everything I needed – even chicken and grilled vegetables, fruit, delicious cappuccino, various juices, vegetables, boiled eggs, omelets, and fried eggs. There are plenty of sun loungers and umbrellas, and the beach bar is excellent; all drinks are brought and taken away. The sea is gorgeous! The entrance is gradual, you don't have to walk far; after a few meters it deepens, and we didn't see any creatures there. Next to the hotel is a street with bars, shops, and massage parlors. Finding somewhere to eat is no problem, and anyone looking for a night out will find something!

Excellent hotel, green area, swimming pool, shower on the beach. There were enough sunbeds and towels for everyone, although the hotel was packed to capacity. The room is large, there is a kettle, tea + coffee, a safe for a small laptop, soap, shampoo, shower cap, hair dryer, TV. Large balcony, high ceilings in the room. Of course, there is a fairly new and quiet air conditioner. Standard rooms in two- and three-story buildings, no elevator, but your luggage will be brought. The staff is friendly, they help, clean and wash the hotel daily. The breakfast is quite monotonous, but tasty, there is enough of everything throughout the breakfast. Breakfast is served in an open area without air conditioning, but with a view of the sea, it is not needed. Good hotel, we will come again.

Everything was great. The breakfasts were delicious. The beach was gorgeous and sandy. The bungalows were spotlessly clean. I recommend it to everyone. It's located in the center of Lamai, close to everything.

The staff was wonderful and very responsive. For a small extra fee, we were allowed to stay in the cabin until our flight. The hotel grounds are lush and green, and everything is well-maintained and beautiful. Daily cleaning and fresh towels by the pool are always available. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. I will definitely come back.

Excellent clean hotel, on the seashore, green well-kept territory, regularly clean the beach from leaves and garbage. Friendly staff at the reception, will prompt and tell you everything.

The hotel is 3 stars, the breakfasts are very modest. The location is excellent, there are shops and restaurants nearby. The pool is small, overlooking the sea. Green area.

We stayed at this hotel in June 2024. The hotel is wonderful! Upon check-in, you will be offered cold, moist flavored oshibori and a glass of juice as a welcome drink. The hotel has both rooms in 2 and 3 storey buildings, as well as separate bungalows. The hotel area is very green. Everywhere is clean! The room is cleaned daily, towels are changed daily. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Breakfast is served at the beach restaurant from 8:00 to 11:00. How nice it is to drink a cup of morning coffee with crispy toast while enjoying the seascape! ❤️! 3-4 types of fruit, 3-4 types of pastries, toast, croissants, vegetables, rice, curry, eggs - 4 types, bacon, sausages, nuggets, 3 types of juice, water with lemon, lime and mint. Tea (3 types), coffee (coffee machine). Nearby is a swimming pool, sun loungers and the sea!!! Shower by the pool. The sea is wonderful, clean. You don't have to walk long to swim. Cafes, restaurants, massage parlors - everything is nearby! I will definitely come back here again! I recommend! I think that the hotel is worthy of 4* in terms of the level of service provided!

Pros: central location in Lamai, close to the sea. Very green beautiful area. There are enough sun loungers. There are plenty of beach towels, from 8.00 until late in the evening. Breakfast is good, 2 coffee machines with different coffees. The tea is delicious. Fruits every day: watermelon, pineapple, dragon fruit, papaya, mango. There is enough food: a variety of hot dishes, yoghurts, jams, croissants, omelettes, fried eggs, sausages, salads you create yourself. There is enough furniture in the room. Hangers 10 pcs. Safe. Autonomous air conditioning, refrigerator, kettle, TV. Always hot water. Very nice balcony, birds are singing in the morning, a squirrel came running. Cleaning is a five, they clean very well. They give 4 bottles of water (this is the first generous hotel). We went to apple food for dinner - it was close and delicious. Transfer to the airport costs 600 baht, we took it opposite the exit from a travel agency for 500. Cons: very noisy in buildings 7 and 6. The doors open onto a street leading to the beach and a coffee shop is open until 4 am, with very loud music. For some reason, the furniture in the room is different; the solid wood furniture is old, shabby, but of very good quality. There are also cabinets made of a different material, so it’s uncomfortable. No trash bags in the room. Many thanks to the staff for the meeting: a wet towel and juice, plus karma, they gave me a knife for the entire time of use. I recommend the hotel, but 2, 3 buildings or bungalows.
