Ulasan The Dearly Koh Tao Hostel-Padi 5 Star Dive Resort

British solo backpacker, 30 years old. Very clean hostel/hotel. Breakfast between 6:30-10am included in stay. Very quiet hostel no music no party hostel, however just a minor noise from neighbours, they have roosters and chickens which start from 6am till 11am Has been a problem with my stay due to me having an ear infection from scuba diving and being on antibiotics. But have had spoken to trip.com and have supported my stay and been very helpful. It’s a 20 minute walk to knock out gym and 25 minutes to the PEIR.. 45 minutes to the main strip. It is walkable. But scooters are 200baht a day. There is a laundromat next door to hotel and two 7- elevens close by. Few good restaurants. Plus the hostel does a scuba diving course with padi the team and instructors are amazing. They also have so much happening in the day. They have beach clean up in the morning. They have drop off and pick up services to the beach from 1:30-4 and then sunset drop off and pick up from 5:30-7pm every day. You go to a new place every day. It is really cool they also have other activities. Overall I had a great time meeting people here, but it is very far away. It is clean not a party hostel but just the neighbours roosters and chickens and bonfire are a problem.

They organize excursions everyday that you can join for free

As I was staying for more than a week ( stayed forst in a private bedroom with shared bathroom) they had the availability for an upgrade. Enjoyed the last 2 nights with a nice room with private bathroom. Thank you again dear The dearly hostel- Team!!!

Awesome hostel, they provide shuttles to and from 1 beach and 1 bar every day for free! Sometimes in the evening there isn’t any hot water anymore, but other than that it was perfect!

Only stayed for a night. The room was clean but right next to someone raising Cockerels. They start at ~6.30 and don't stop, also loud music being played from 8 at the same place. Didn't have the best night sleep.

I stayed here alone and booked a private room, which was very spacious and had everything I needed — it felt more like a hotel room than a hostel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The downside is that the hostel is far from the bars and nightlife, so it’s not ideal if you want to go out in the evenings. During my stay, there were also very few Western travelers, which made it feel a bit quiet for a solo traveler.

The room is very far from the entry by walking but room is oke, its quite. The bed is too small for that room

Clean dorm room and toilets with decent facilities. Friendly staff. Nice that they have free shuttle services too. Convenient location very near Chalok Baan Kao Bay and Freedom Beach, good restaurants, massage shops and Seven Eleven. Only negative impression was witnessing a mynah pick off rice grains from the serving spoon during the breakfast buffet. The food is out in the open, though covered, and no one is really watching to make sure the animals don't come for it...

We stayed here for 4 nights. Staff were friendly and kind and the vibe was very nice. Recommended to someone looking for reasonable prices and good quality

They offer free shuttle bus for ppl to beaches which is amazing the staffs are nice it’s a quite place for ppl who don’t really love “party” hostel love it
