Hotel berhampiran Moelleaaen, Kongens Lyngby

We stayed in a room for four people. After settling into our room and turning off the lights, we heard something that sounded like a person beating on our door -loudly! I ran to the door and nobody was there. Puzzled, I assumed it was just noise from someone beating on another door. Maybe kids making a prank or something. The sound repeated about twice an hour for the entire night. It was coming from somewhere inside the wall and/or ceiling near the door. Analyzing the noise it sounded more like an unbalanced motor or pump winding down and clanging on its mounting. I complained to the front desk and the clerk said ”Oh yes we're aware of the strange sound. We don't know what it is.” !!!! I asked for another room but there was only one other room for four and it was booked. They refused to explanation as to why they rented this room with a known fundamental defect that makes sound sleep impossible. Also, the room was equipped with a Jacuzzi tub, but it was broken. I would never recommend this badly overpriced and badly managed hotel.

Nous sommes restés 5 nuits. C'est très bien situé. À 8 min du métro et facile d'accès. Bon restaurant vietnamien à deux pas. Par contre j'ai pris une chambre familiale pour avoir de la place et c'était très petit. Aucune place pour les 2 valises. C'était aussi un peu sale. La douche était bloquée au fond et les bouilloir étaient vraiment dégueulasses au point qu'on a pas osé s'en servir. Le matin on manquait parfois de vaisselle parce-que les autres mettaient au lave-vaisselle plutôt que de laver.

Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights in late May 2024. You get the “new” feeling for everything given it is indeed just a few months in operation. The hotel is located in a very quiet and safe residential area by the port. During the day, you can expect “some work” going on around the vicinity but it is fine in my opinion. The room is considered self sufficient (no mini fridge, no bedroom slippers, no phone with just a few hangers). It is of a reasonable size for one, max two persons. Bed and pillows are comfy. The breakfast offered is unlike the usual massive buffet range but is considered very decent and healthy. Question is how much can one consume over breakfast. Several cosy eateries and supermarkets are located within walking distance. You can also chill or catch some good sun by the boardwalk nearby where people swim and yoga inside the little hut. If you wish to save some money, you should take the train from the airport and walk around 10-15mins to the hotel. Otherwise, taxi from the airport to the hotel vice versa can set you back by DKK500/- just for your guide. Rental of bicycles are available at DKK150/- per day at the hotel (new bikes). Traveling to the city, one-way transport by either bus or metro would cost around DKK24/-. Lastly, you can expect to be greeted by extremely courteous, friendly and helpful hotel staffs. Ok hotel for 3 star, but extremely expensive. 250 euro without breakfast, without minibar, to single beds, no view, not possible to turn down room temperature and with a noicy train passing outside is the most expensive room I have stayes at, at least double price of Oslo with the same standard..Fantastic with the bike rent just outside the door and friendly staff. Clean room. Recommend the boat trip and the botanical garden and other parks. Fantastic both of them.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est excellent. Nous avons été déçus de la propreté de la chambre ainsi que la salle de bain vraiment minuscule. Le petit déjeuner n’étais pas terrible non plus… même pas de machine à café et les plateaux restent vident longtemps. Un rapport qualité prix qui n’est pas au rdv.

Absolutely love CitizenM. Came to know them as they are GIC investee company. Then, they are perfectly located in the center of the city. Convenient to walk to most sights. Also many cafes and eateries nearby. Friendly service. Design weird but nice. Clean, bright rooms. A bit like Mama Shelter in Paris !

First time in Copenhagen and first time using a hostel with family. No worries as they love it, the hostel seems to be newly renovated and is clean and bright. Toilet/shower spotless with hair wash and conditioner supplied (actually whole hostel is spotless). Water still hot at 9:30am after a lot of shower use, have been in upmarket hotels that struggled to maintain hot water. Was surprised that the room was cleaned each day with fresh bedding and towels. Great location, buy the Copenhagen Discover card and it is super easy to get around, Metro/rail station within 5 minutes. We stayed for 3 nights on the first floor, we were not disturbed by neighbouring rooms as some said in reviews, yes the street is noisy with windows open, but when closed street noise vastly reduced. As it was warm when we stayed we had windows open (no air con) and still had a good night sleep. Nicely decorated ground floor reception and bar, comfortable seating and good range of beer/wine/coffee, also seating outside. The basement has a well equipped kitchen, pool table, games area on the left of the stairs and on the right of the stairs there are more toilets/showers and I came across another fridge freezer in addition to the kitchen. Would have no hesitation booking again when we return to Copenhagen.

It really was a perfect choice to stay at Next House! Perfect Location, good price, clean and modern interior as well!❤️🔥 Loads of activities which I didn't get to enjoy as I was only there for a short trip 🥲 but I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you're traveling alone! I met 3 lovely girls that I shared a room with and also the luggage storage service really saved me a headache with just a small price!🤍

Very nice hotel for families. Spacious and very clean bedrooms. Amenities offered: shampoo, conditioner and body lotion. Hotel provided option for kids to stay-in in a sofa bed, which was nicely prepared in advance. Continental/european style breakfast buffet. Nice service. Hotel located 30 min oustide of city center, but well connected thru public transport (bus stop in front of hotel and train station within walking distance).

Stayed overnight at Kokkedal castle and booked a single deluxe room in a main building. Ample parking space and smooth check-in experience, however, upon entering my room, the key didn’t work so I need to run down and ask for a check to get it active again, and it did. The room was good enough for solo traveler. The lighting in the room giving a warm tone and I get a room with fantastic view over the golf course and a peek of the ocean. A good single size bed and comfortable linens. I had a goodnight sleep. Do bear in mind, as it’s a historical building that’s dated from 1700s, therefore their fixtures could make a little noise and watch your head for low sections wall in the room. The forest in the surrounding however, definitely worth a trail and it’ll leads you down to a nearby Rungsted harbor where you can find local restaurants, local beach and Karen Blixen museum. The breakfast room located in their cellar and the buffet is sufficient enough to give you some energy to start your morning. Overall, it was a good overnight stay and would like to try their spa facilities or perhaps their bigger room next time. If you have an appreciation of historical places, then this is one of a place worth a visit.
