Hotel berhampiran Skate park BALI, Koper - Capodistria

We were visiting the Slovenian Coast for 5 Nights as a couple with a dog. We opted for a hotel in a more quiet location compared with portoroz - Izola etc.... What a great choice! Firstly, the hotel is beautiful renovated and looks like a new place. All is well and feels new - from the Restaurant, Lobby and the Rooms! (and awesome Salt chambers..) We chose a double room with balcony, which in those hot days were great for the early mornings or later evenings! (plus a big help in drying beach towels and clothes!) The room was nice, safe and mini bar fridge all available. Good shower - and for outdoor 38 degrees heat a perfectly working Air Con!! That's a real bonus! The Food (Breakfast was an enough wide selection) and the Dinner (mixed à la carte & sushi) must be stated was amazingly nice cooked, real top quality chef! if you like to dine out or eat in the evenings out just a 10-minute walk is the Ancaran Townsquare with a handful of nice Bars, Italian, Local Speciality Restaurant and so on. ＞All one needs! But the best ist still straight down from the hotel, the small bar on the beach! - So! - most over all I like to mention the feeling being a few days away from home in this place made us really relaxed and the best of the hotel is the people who work there!! - from the welcome reception team to the bar & restaurant staff and the housekeepers - all were at every time friendly and engaged! Overall, the Owner or Manager of this Hotel should be happy to have exactly this team working there now! They are awesome people with a good sense of hospitality! I would try to keep them! From the hotel you can walk in 3-5 minutes to a nice calm, quiet beach with another nice Restaurant and Bar (directly overlooking the Bay of Ancaran, Koper and so on) which was a lovely scenery!). The water was crystal clean and perfect temperature, and each time coming back to the hotel felt simply nice. Having travelled over 100s of times and stayed in 2-5 star hotels all over - this is definitely a place to go back. You just have to know what you are looking for and what kind of entertainment one wants. If you choose wisely, and you look for a bit more quiet place and not overloaded with people - and good drinks, food etc... than this is your destination! Thank you Team Ortus for the great stay. Everything was perfect, the staff was nice and friendly. Wide range of dishes. Highly recommended. A slight drawback is parking - it is available either on the street for a fee (at the hotel for a higher price) or in a parking lot that is slightly further away for a lower price. The hotel also offers parking in the building next door, but without their pass for a higher price. However, the hotel staff was very helpful in directing us to a parking lot nearby. The best hotel ever!! New and Glamorous ! Excellent staff. Large clean rooms. Amazing breakfast & dinner buffets with waterfront views. Has several bar areas with amazing views. Will definitely return.

The hotel located in a beautiful compact town with good infrastructure. The employees were so friendly, helpful. My room was located in the old building with a small balcony but there is a new one with large terraces. There is a hair and nail salon, a very good clothing store. The ice cream in the cafe is so delicious. The hotel has its private beach area, but you have go cross the road to get there, also people from outside passing by this area. The water in the sea was normal, the seabed is sandy, similar to the sea in north Italy. There also located some wild beaches not far from Portoroze. One minus was the breakfast, it was the worst I experienced in a five star hotel (poor choice). The good thing about that there was enough place for all guests. You could enjoy your meal inside or outside.

Gambar yang disediakan untuk ”Bilik standard double dengan pemandangan laut” tidak realistik. Saya membayar lebih daripada USD 330 untuk bilik hotel yang usang! Pemandangan laut adalah pemandangan di dek kolam lama... Keadaan tempat letak kereta adalah seperti yang telah diterangkan. Petikan penerimaan tetamu: ”kami mempunyai tempat letak kereta hotel, untuk mencari ruang kosong, semoga berjaya”. Positif: Terme kelihatan bagus dan diubah suai dari luar dan sarapan paginya enak.

The whole hotel is reminiscent of the trade union resorts of the socialist era. On arrival, there is no access to the entrance, and luggage has to be carried about 50 metres to the reception, come rain or shine. Parking is free, provided you can find a parking space somewhere, and there's no help in finding one, park where you can, in my case it was about 500 metres from the hotel, on the hill next to the buses. The groups arrive in huge buses - like in socialism for the tour - so as a private guest you have to wait until the groups' business is sorted out, then it's your turn. The guest area has been renovated, but the service roads are in a state of terminal disrepair. The air-conditioning units have probably not been cleaned for years, smiling merrily with mould... Meals are served in rotation, and you can pick up your prepaid breakfast and dinner on a self-service basis. The noise is horrendous, over 100 people trying to eat at once, children screaming and shouting is the normal noise level. At dinner, the few staff who call themselves waiters - the rest are just clearing the dishes - immediately find you to bring you a drink at a gold price, which they don't pour and, for example, you have to drink beer from a wine glass, as it's on the table, they don't bring you another. The crowds can make you wait half an hour to pay for your drink, but if you don't tip enough they will make a point of it, making faces. They heat without any need for heating, but you can't adjust the temperature on the panel in the room, it's disabled, and if you open the balcony door, the rain pours into the room. Do not go during school holidays, because the swimming pool area is full of parents with small children and the pool is not big enough for such a crowd, because other paying guests can come in from the outside. Kids running around screaming in the hallways, nothing like a four star hotel. The swimming pool water is dirty, smelly, after a swim the bathing suits smelled so bad you couldn't wash them. We threw them out. The staff are not helpful, they don't even want you to have a good time and come back because of the mass tourism. I will not.

We stayed four nights in The Modernist Hotel in mid October. The location was an easy 20 minute walk from the main train station and centrally located between the water and two interesting neighborhoods. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was pleasant and satisfying. I am very sensitive to noise and was bothered by the busy street below. This is very individual. I grew up in New York City and the location would be quiet by NYC standards.

The hotel is located in the heart of Trieste. Very nice and calm location with elegent interior and kind staff. The room was very clean and spacious, it was cleaned every day. The room temperature was convenient and the air conditioning was not noisy. The breakfast is a fully served one. The concept is nice and we started to like it very much at the end of our vacation. The food was tasty, but the selection was not very large, particularly if you have some dietary restrictions. After a couple of days, you can get bored of the selection.

So glad I stayed here. It’s amazing inside and the staff (well most of them) are lovely too! Arrived during a national train strike so was stressed and just grateful to have arrived. My check in was great, the guy was friendly and informative. Escorted me to my room which was modern and he showed me how everything worked. Only thing I was disappointed in is there are no safes in the room - that can be so easily rectified. Didn’t have breakfast but I did bring a friend back for a drink in the evening only to be met by a miserable member of staff who so did not want to serve us drinks and when we insisted he made the cocktail with one small piece of ice! When I asked for more he gave me another small piece! Ridiculous! We weren’t the only ones to receive his misery! A group of 4/5 came in after us and were told they could take the drinks to their room! They were just as surprised as us with his rudeness. Anyway I haven’t detracted any points from this review because I spoke with the owner in the morning and she was lovely and apologised profusely. None of it was her doing but she was mortified and assured me she would deal with it which I trust she did. Would definitely return if in Trieste again 👍

The view from the rooftop is amazing! We had a wonderful time. The service was impeccable, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic, creating a relaxing and enjoyable environment. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The staff is extremely helpful and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly. Overall, it was a memorable experience that we highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay and dine.
