Korora Bay Village Resort

This was a last minute booking we did for 2 nights in the Easter holidays. We really enjoyed the resort with our three kids staying in the bottom 2 bedroom unit. The rooms, living area and kitchen was sufficient for a family of 5. Our kids loved the pool, the spa is very warm - which was wonderful as I couldn't go in the cold pool! The games room was something my kids couldn't keep away from. I loved the extra tables and chairs set outside so we could eat breakfast outside facing the lovely bushes. Definately a thumbs up from me. Julia was a great host.

The resort itself was absolutely beautiful, lovely gardens, and a very peaceful atmosphere. Lovely facilities and apartments. Clean, comfortable and tidy. Parking is available but a little squishy. My preference was to stay at Annuka beach resort but it was booked out, so I booked to stay at this resort for the weekend with family as we wanted to spend the day at the big banana for my son’s birthday. After informing reception we were here for my son’s birthday, I was told by the reception lady that if parties were held at the resort that they would be notified. I was a little shocked by the reception lady’s assumption as that was not our intentions and I was put off by her superficial pleasant demeanour. We had planned to use the resorts bbq for an evening meal but after my encounter with reception on arrival we decided to eat out instead of using the resort’s facilities as we felt uncomfortable.

We have just finished our 4th stay at Korora Bay Village and as usual, a very enjoyable stay !! One brm apartment with plenty of room , bonus 1. Comfortable King bed. 2; Car right outside the door. 3; Quiet surroundings. 4; Very friendly and welcoming staff. 5; Good Games room & Pool area . It was a holiday visit as my wife had just finished work(for good),after 55 years nursing. It was an excellent place to just relax and enjoy the environment. The helpfullness of the people was a real standout and much appreciated.

Lovely resort snuggled in a picturesque valley, a 10 minute walk to the beach, 5 minute walk to coffee, and 10 minute drive to Coffs Harbour. Units are clean, well presented, with nicely appointed, small, kitchen.

This resort is in a good location with a short drive to the beaches and to do whale watching. Resort amenities are ample for retirees as well as young families. There is a shopping centre 2 km away and the Big Banana 1km away.

I was lucky to be able to book and stay at this place, as I booked it last minute (only about a week before staying there). Location is fantastic (on the fringe / outskirts of Coffs but close enough to be near everything you want to do / see), parking on site in front of each apartment, I loved that the accommodation was self contained with a full kitchenette complete with dishwasher, microwave, decent size fridge and stove top, plenty of crockery and cutlery available, separate bedroom / bathroom / kitchen and living area which I loved. It meant you felt like you were at home rather than in hotel accommodation. Staff were fantastic - helpful, knowledgeable and professional. Plenty of on site facilities e.g. games room, outdoor chess / checkers set, library of books. Pool and spa were closed when I visited but they advised me beforehand they were closed and I wasn’t planning on using them anyway since it’s winter, so not an issue for me. Price was great. I would definitely stay here again.
