Rio Hotel

Rio Hotel is perfectly located in the village of Kardamaina, the rooms are extremely clean and have everything you need for your time away. The owners are wonderful, and are available to help with any questions or recommendations you need. I will definitely be staying at the Rio Hotel for my next visit to Kos.

Amazing! Me ny partner and our little girl stayed last week and I couldn’t praise the place anymore than I already have. It’s so clean and the rooms are spacious. The location cannot be beaten and the staff are friendly and attentive in the hotel. Massive thank you for looking after us to Vasili and his family. We will be back. Riley, Chelsey and Lilah.

The Rio is a town centre hotel and Pub. As such it was great value and we would happily return. We had a large room with kitchen facilities adequate if we had wished to self cater. Beds had nice thick sprung mattresses. Position was excellent. It was situated by the taxi rank, and a five minute walk through a pedestrian road to the harbour and the beach. Position was a reason for our choice. We had been concerned that it might be noisy, but sound proofing was adequate, and a wedding party at the next door taverna failed to keep us awake. Quite surprisingly, sitting on our balcony overlooking the street, was really quite quiet and peaceful. Staff were all great, good friendly service. Only complaint was shower water pressure was low on occasions, but in a country where water is very precious, this is not necessarily a bad thing.

Nice place to stay, clean and very well located

We arrived late evening and were met by owners and shown to rooms we were pleasantly surprised by very clean rooms and lovely comfy beds . We loved our stay there and felt like we were visiting family as everyone was so friendly and helpful. Great location. Only 5 mins to taxis shops and beach .We had drinks in The Pub every evening and were joined by owners Vasilis and Stamatia . Lovely hotel we will definitely be back next year .

Just got back from Hotel Rio. Having been to Kardamena a couple of times each summer I have passed this hotel many times. Always noticed the lovely pub below. Booked for my family and wow!!! Rooms immaculate, so clean, the owners are the nicest people you will ever meet! Treat you like an old friend. I work for a bespoke bed company and trust me their mattresses are some of the best! Very expensive! Sooo comfy!! Everything you could need! We had drinks in the bar most nights which is so chilled before we went to eat. There’s a supermarket 1 min away, ice cream Shop 1 min away, your literally minutes away from everything!! You can see the sea as soon as you come out of the door! Couldn’t imagine staying anywhere else now when we visit!!! Roll on 2023!!! Miss it already! By the way, my mum said she had the tastiest omelette she’s ever had at The pub!!

Io e il mio compagno siamo stati ospiti al Rio Hotel di Kardamena la scorsa settimana ed è stata una piacevolissima sorpresa. L'hotel è a gestione familiare. Stamatia e Vasilis, sono i proprietari. Due splendide e simpaticissime persone che si prendono cura dei propri ospiti in modo eccellente. Ci ha accolti Stamatia, ci ha condotti nella nostra stanza, dotata di ogni confort: climatizzatore silenziosissimo ,TV, cassaforte, frigorifero,asciugacapelli. La camera è arredata in modo semplice ed è molto pulita. I letti e i cuscini veramente comodi. Devo dire che, nonostante l'hotel sia ubicato in posizione centralissima,in mezzo a tanti negozietti colorati, una volta chiuse le imposte, è molto silenzioso. Dopo aver riposto i nostri bagagli, siamo scesi al pub ( The Pub, così chiamato) sempre di proprietà dell'hotel, abbiamo mangiato un delizioso hamburger con bacon , formaggio, pomodoro e insalata, servito con patatine fritte. Un boccale di birra greca alla spina servita con bicchiere ghiacciato ( In Kos Island tutti servono il boccale ghiacciatissimo). Il pub è molto caratteristico, un bel bancone in legno e le poltrone in pelle. Ha anche un ampio dehor esterno. Consiglio vivamente la struttura per pulizia, gentilezza e simpatia e prezzo.Inoltre, a mio giudizio, Kardamena è una tra le più belle spiagge di Kos. Da ritornarci assolutamente.

Ho soggiornato in quest' hotel per circa 15 gg si trova in una posizione eccezionale al centro di kardamena, è molto tranquillo e soprattutto molto pulito le camere sono ampie con un bel terrazzino e vengono riordinate ogni giorno con un cambio ogni tre gg. Bagno ampio con la doccia molto comoda.Consigliatissimo
