Went here as a family of 4 - 3 adults and 1 child of 8. When we arrived we were told our 2 rooms were quite far apart which was disappointing, although I probably should have emailed beforehand. However, they offered us a massionate instead. Asked if we would like to view it before excepting which was great. We did just on the basis of being all together. However, by doing this we had issues trying to book the resturants on their system as it didnt update that all 4 of us was in one room, we booked directly with them instead. We were in the residences side and taken by buggy. Our rooms were very spacious, 2 bathrooms, the one upstairs was very small. Knees touch the basin when on the toilet small lol but it worked. Had a terrace and a balcony which was fantastic. Beds were comfortable. Room was a little dated and the wardrobe had a funky smell, like mould but couldn't see any. Room was cleaned and water bottles replaced every day. Being on the residence side was lovely and quiet, the pool was right outside our room with a pool bar, shop and an evening bar. We didn't bother with the main resort pool it was packed, people going out at 6am to put towels down - no we weren't one of those, we just like to get up early to watch the sunrise, which is spectacular! So we stayed where our room was when wanting the pool, never had any issues with getting a bed there. Staff were always friendly. The hotel and grounds were clean. Plenty of cats to adore also! The only issue for us at this hotel, apart from the dated room was meal times, it was like feeding time at the zoo!! Never seen anything like it, there were quite a lot of rude people there too, pushing infront of you to get the food. Even to my 8 year old which left him taken back. I know this isn't a hotel issue just part of our experience. I hate to write this but the food wasnt great, it seemed very repetitive and like the same food from lunch was used for dinner. A few times my partner had uncooked chicken. It was just so packed with people at times. We had to queue one evening for 30 minutes to get in. I understand they had a 2 seating system for evening meals otherwise the resturant just couldn't handle the amount of people in one go. The Italian a la carte was a lot better. Wish we could have eaten there each night instead. Unfortunately, the Greek a la carte wasn't great and this one we had been looking forward to the most. The best drinks were served at the main bar inside, the other bars weren't as good. We had an extremely late flight home, because we had issues with booking resturants they gave us our rooms until 8pm for no extra charge which we truly appreciated especially with a young child. Unfortunately, we would say this hotel is more of a 3* than a 4*. We did have a good time and my youngest was happy with his holiday. We just dreaded meal times, the food could have been a lot better. There is definitely room for improvement overall so unfortunately it just wasnt worth the money we pa
