Hotel berhampiran Bengkel MaM, Kota Belud

On our way to Cabana Retreat, we saw a couple of cows at the roadside. Since I wanted to take some photos, my friend made a U-turn so that I could capture a few. One cow was a shade of white & it looked quite tame & docile. The road leading to our retreat was very quiet. We hardly saw any cars & passed a jetty signboard. We arrived at 3:00 pm & managed to park our rented car near the Resort’s entrance. I went straight to the Front desk to check-in & to get our keys to our quad-tent. Thankfully, our quad-tent was located near to the common bathroom. We had chosen a quad-tent because the 4 of us wanted to have a glamping experience together. Unfortunately, one friend had to leave. Thus, there was 1 empty mattress on a wooden pallet which we had used to put all our food. Although the quad-tent was compact, it came equipped with an air-cooler, a standing fan, a small wooden table & chair, a wicker basket that was used as a wastepaper basket, a long mirror & a small area to hang our clothes. There was also a steel shoe rack. Throw pillows were given on each bed. The sheets & blankets were of hotel quality while the mattress was comfortable enough though I could still feel the wooden pallets underneath it all. The material covering our tents was of high quality too & we had double tent zippers for safety & protection. Our 2-day package came with free activities on the beach. Unfortunately, the staff was not available to teach us to handle the paddleboat. Hence, we had to forgo the non-motorised activities. My 2 friends decided to rest in the tent but I decided to walk on the beach. Strangely enough, I saw many cows on the beach! They were going for the waves. As it was starting to drizzle, I left the beach & headed back to the tent. Our package also included a Firefly experience on our 1st night. However, we had to drive to the jetty ourselves. When we arrived, we mentioned the name of our Hotel & were given admittance into the boat. The host, a middle-aged man told us to be quiet while he summoned the fireflies to our direction. It was such an awesome magical experience when the fireflies started appearing before your very eyes. Even if it’s not in the package, please make sure that you go for this activity. The next morning, we had breakfast at the Coffee House as it was included in the package. We were given a selection to choose from, either American or local meals. They were freshly made & tasty. The scenery was of the beach. There were also a few swings for guests to enjoy on underneath a roof. Outdoor tables, chairs & benches were provided on the beach where guests could enjoy their breakfast with the sand underneath their feet. There were many cats & dogs around the vicinity. Most probably they were strays. We saw a rooster trying to chase away a mangy dog. Throughout our stay, we would buy some food & feed the cats, dogs & rooster. In short, all meals – breakfast, lunch & dinner were at the Coffee House. We didn’t feel a need to

Room was ok, location is good. Staffs are very helpful. The room has no aircond or fan, its quite hot in the late morning. Too close to the main road, you can hear vehicles passing by. Cannot see the mountain from the room balcony but you have to go out to the parking area to view the wonderful mountain. Breakfast choices were limited, no buffet, we love the char kue tiaw yumsss! Dont forget to drop by at Chill@1850 cafe, the road entrance is just apposite the hotel.

美人魚島離市區比較遠，從市區出發可以在Megallen Resort乘坐酒店得shuttle bus前往，每日衹有一趟來回，75馬幣一人，前往美人魚島的巴士6點半就需要集合，所以如果有意前往的可以提前一晚到Megallen Resort下榻。 總共是2小時的巴士車程，抵達酒店的專屬碼頭后大約9點鐘就會發船前往美人魚島，同樣是一日一班的Jetty Boat，抵達島上大概是10點半左右。酒店要求客人早上9點鐘退房，這樣才能在12點準時為下一批客人準備好房間，因此酒店是沒有提前入住/延遲退房。 美人魚島環境很好，因為遠離市區，所以海水比市區附近更加清澈。雖然酒店沒有專屬的泳池和健身房，但有沙灘飛車、海上落日、浮潛、釣魚等活動可以參加，一日下來行程滿滿。 酒店的設施設備相對齊全，但由於在小島上，所以熱水不要太過奢求，基本就是白天太陽曬熱的溫度，雖然房間硬件還算可以，但衛生一般，毛巾還有部分污漬，介意的朋友最好自帶毛巾。酒店的房間沒有WiFi，衹有在前台有共享WiFi，所以如果打算前往小島住上幾天的話最好是買一張當地的手機卡，才能保障與外界的聯繫。同時，房間用水也是海水凈化而來，略帶鹹味的。 島上沒有其他餐廳（除非走到村子上），但一日三餐可以滿足，而且價格合理，早餐還算豐富，就是差個酒吧，缺點意思。 由於小島遠離市區，沒有太多燈光污染，因此天氣好的情況下能在酒店看到比平時多幾倍的星星，如果對攝影有興趣的朋友也可以帶上專業設備前往拍攝。

We drove to Mount Kinabalu for 2 nights stay at the 1) Peak Lodge 1 & 2 , 2) Summit Lodge & 3) Garden Lodge. The accomodations are comfortable, niece ambience with fire place ,has slow or no wifi connection at all. Some improvement needed in Housekeeping cleaning. Shower room in Summit Lodge flooding as the floor trap was filled with dirt & hair. Shower room wall tiles are dirty. Awesome view of the Mount Kinabalu from our Lodges. Breakfast is at Liwagu Restaurant , it serves Asian Buffet. Dinner is Ala-Carte , food and service are good. For activities , around the Park , we make visit to the Botanical Garden and Poring Hot Spring and make a further drive down to Desa Dairy Farm at Kundasang. All in all it was a relaxing stay !!

I visited with my Family on the 8th of August. Took a twin room which has 2 queen sized beds. I arrived at the location at noon, feeling very stressed out because was having a bit of an argument with the family. My mother was having one of her fits when we arrived, saying she didn't like the place, I on the other hand, was wondering why I spent so much money on this place. I called the caretaker and he was quick to respond, good guy, we got to our room, still stressed out, and felt instantly that the room was sp****. I was immediately questioning my reasoning for booking this place. Fast forward an hour or so later, when everyone calmed down (mother included), we were immediately in a better mood. The landscaping of the place is really beautiful, and the view of mount kinabalu was very majestic. We left both the front and back door open and the winds were blowing through the room, keeping it cool, my mom and my sisters were all starting to enjoy the place, myself included. I started looking into the details of the rooms, the quality of the materials used to construct the villa was of the highest quality, toilet was made with marble, and everything else was simple but robust, and could tell that material choice was quite important. The landscaping was also quite nice. Beautiful garden. And it's just so private. To sum it all up here are the pros and cons of this place. Pros: 1. High quality material used to construct the rooms 2. Beautiful landscaping - very calming and great. 3. Very private 4. Friendly and quick team to reply 5. Nice toilet (best in Kundasang) Cons 1. Price a bit on the high side (but it's private and most probably the nicest hotel in kundasang, cant compare to established hotels in the city( 2. Lacks some finer details : instead of 3 in 1 coffee, put a Nespresso machine in every room with 4 to 6 capsules, that really makes a difference in terms of perceived quality. 3. Pillows could be better - sheets are alright and bed is alright - but I stayed in four seasons kl for 40 percent cheaper, so... A bit hard on that end 4. I appreciate the disposable tooth brush, soaps etc. But I think the soap would be better if it was in a bottle stuck to the shower wall where it can be refillable, perhaps they could use a branded soap and shampoo for that, and not put it in small bottles, but in refillable permanent bottles in the room. 5. Restaurant - it's not under them, they share it with the hotel about a 5 minutes drive away. It's not bad, but it's far from good. No alcohol in sight there, so better BYOD. Although pricing wise it's on the high side, and there are some things that they can improve on, I'd still go back there, as it's the only great and private stay in kundasang. Everywhere else is not up to spring gardens quality, for now....

Saya tinggal di bilik tiga orang. Bilik itu sangat bagus. Penghawa dingin juga sangat kuat dan air mandian sangat siram. Walau bagaimanapun, WI-FI di dalam bilik perlu diperbaiki. Makanan: sarapan pagi, makan tengah hari dan makan malam adalah ***a bufet. Secara keseluruhannya, ia sedap dan boleh dimakan. Ia penuh, hidangan bertukar setiap hari, dan keluarga berasa seronok! Terima kasih kepada pengurus Felix K, yang bercakap bahasa Cina yang sangat baik. Dia membantu saya mengatur jadual perjalanan ke Shenqian dan hutan bakau. Jika saya pergi ke hutan bakau, saya boleh menangguhkan daftar keluar saya sehingga pukul 12. Selepas itu, saya akan mempunyai bufet 30 yuan seorang. Saya akan menaiki bot pulang ke pelabuhan pada pukul tiga petang untuk melihat Selepas melihat monyet proboscis dan kelip-kelip, kereta hotel JSK membawa kami kembali ke pintu masuk hotel di bandar. Perkhidmatan ini sangat penuh perhatian! Pergi ke Pulau Bakau untuk mendaftar dengan harga 119 MYR untuk kanak-kanak dan 149 MYR untuk dewasa! sangat mudah! Terima kasih JSK!

Every room has balcony 😊 Don’t: No electricity upon arrival Bed linen were filled with dust, small small dead bugs. Quite old, can hear from downstairs footsteps, shower, television voice, people talking. Common: The road to Nikgold quite challenging ( as common as other areas in Kundasang, so it wasnt a big deal) No phone line, they do provide WiFi which is excellent Overall it was a pleasant stay.
