Very very beautiful suite!! So near to many local shops to eat and also shop. Walking distance to Tanjung Aru beach. Safe also as there is security. Swimming pool have wonderful view of surroundings.

The hotel front staff is friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is good. The sunset view from the rooftop is so beautiful. In addition, I had a great time with my child because I could see the take-off scene of the aircraft up close. There are many useful stores such as restaurants and marts near the hotel, so it is convenient. It is very close to the airport, so it is convenient.
If you pay for the deposit with your card at check-in, it cannot be canceled immediately at check-out, and it is a pity that it takes about two weeks. Most hotels cancel the card approval right away at check-out.
I'm waiting for the deposit I paid with my credit card to be canceled properly.

We stayed here for 1 night as we arrived at the airport at night. It’s very close to the airport, about 10 minutes drive. Room is big and clean.
I don’t think they offer breakfast and we looked for somewhere to eat in the morning but restaurants nearby were all closed so we ended up at seven eleven, which is about 8 minutes walk. There is a list of recommendations for Grab food so we could order delivery.
We didn’t use but they have swimming pool and gym.

The Aru Suites is located a fair distance away from the Kota Kinabalu main waterfront area. Grab car is easily available so there isn't a problem. Place is shared with those residential apartments, some are used by airbnb. Pool view is great with view of the sea and the airport runway. Great for those who enjoys plane spotting. Overall a good stay.

The Aru Hotel, located in Tanjung Aru, is conveniently situated near Tanjung Aru Beach and Kota Kinabalu International Airport.
However, the soundproofing is not great, and you might occasionally hear the sound of flight engines from your room.
The amenities are comprehensive, featuring a spacious room, kitchen area, bar table, TV with Netflix, hairdryer, and safe. The washroom is well-maintained, and the shower gel smells good. Complimentary parking is also available.
However, there is no restaurant on-site. The breakfast provided is very simple and delivered to your room.

The hotel is very new & clean. Excellent facilities with very impressive car parking storage system. Maybe the first in Sabah. Anyway, I'd like to suggest installing rack or holder inside the shower room for the body wash & shampoo coz we need to bend down for the bottles that place on the floor. Breakfast is quite pathetic actually. Maybe can consider not to offer breakfast at all. It will be perfect if could improve these 2 items. Anyway, I enjoyed my stay.
