However, the call to prayer, known as the Adhan, is an important part of the Islamic faith. It happens five times a day and is a reminder for Muslims to pray. The early morning call to prayer is the Fajr prayer, which is meant to be done before sunrise.This is part of the cultural and religious practices of the community here in Malaysia.
