It’s a great base for exploring Kota Kinabalu. The lobby and common areas are spacious and welcoming. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained with all the basic amenities I needed. The sea view rooms are especially worth it for the sunset views over the waterfront. Breakfast offered a good variety of local and international options, though the restaurant can get quite busy during peak hours.
