Typisches Business-Hotel am Stadtrand von Krefeld in einem Gewerbegebiet, jedoch ruhig und fast ein wenig idyllisch inmitten eines kleinen Parks mit einem See gelegen. Trotz der abseitigen Lage vom Krefelder Hauptbahnhof recht gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar; von der Straßenbahnhaltestelle „Edelstahlwerk Tor 3“ nur wenige Minuten Fußweg. Die teilweise mäßigen bis schlechten Bewertungen für dieses Hotel kann ich beim besten Willen nicht nachvollziehen. Für mich vielmehr ein ordentliches, durchaus empfehlenswertes Etablissement. Nach dem zügigen, aber unpersönlichen Check-in erwartete mich ein freundliches, helles und zweckmäßig-modern eingerichtetes Zimmer in einwandfreiem Unterhaltungs- und Reinigungszustand. Bequemes Bett mit guten Kissen. Ausreichend dimensioniertes, zeitgemäßes Badezimmer mit großzügiger Duschkabine, ebenfalls absolut sauber. Föhn leider mangels Leistung nahezu nutzlos. Überraschend vielfältiges, ansprechend präsentiertes Frühstücksangebot mit Produkten guter Qualität. Auffallend war vor allem das breite Angebot an leckeren warmen Speisen: nicht nur die „Standards“ wie Rührei und Speck, sondern auch Rostbratwürstchen, Hash Browns, Grilltomaten und Champignons.

We booked here because our daughter stayed at the Disney Paris hotel and said it was very good this hotel is close to the train station and has a tram stop if you can’t walk far,The staff were very helpful and pleasant the reception gave us a map and pointed out where the Christmas markets were.The hotel is very much like a Hampton by Hilton but not as spacious it it situated on a cross road and you can here the noise from traffic and trams but we enjoyed staying here as it was great value for the money.we paid for breakfast on our first day to see if it was good then booked for the rest of our stay as it was very good nice fresh rolls ham and cheese.I would definitely recommend here and hopefully visit again next year

Overall my stay was good. It's an ageing hotel in a small town and can't be compared with modern chains. My room was good, breakfast wasa good and staff were very friendly. One bugbear was that the minibar had to be pre-booked for stocking up like extras on a budget airline. However, my biggest gripe is that I had a nasty fall on a pathway leading to the hotel over extremely uneven and unsafe pavement. I injured myself and damaged my watch and a flower arranegmeent I had just bought across the road. I was asked to email them with any damages, which I did and nobody has cared to reply. Based on that I would not recommend or return.

Mir hat es sehr gefallen. Das Hotel liegt neben dem Hauptbahnhof. Im Raum war es sauber. Kostenloses WLAN. Im Zimmer und im Bad war alles was ich brauchte. Es war nur ein bisschen kompliziert mich am Automat einzuchecken. Aber am Ende klappte es, nur Geduld. Der Früschtück war gut. Für den Preis top. Ich kann das Hotel empfehlen.

There really is nothing physically wrong with this property. A nice looking property that is not really old and with decent facilities. Guest rooms are a bit small but appropriate for the Mercure brand and quit well appointed and A/C that works. No, the issues are all related how this property is run. The rooms, especially the bathrooms are simply not clean, with dirty toilets and mold on the tile. The wall mounted shampoo container was empty upon arrival and never replenished. If one takes a closer look at the overall quality of housekeeping in the rooms, once comes to the conclusion that it really is quite terrible. The carpets in the public areas are dirty and in desperate need of shampooing or replacing. The property has a ” great room” that is used for meetings and get togethers. But it is also used for screaming children early in the morning, although this room is surrounded by an atrium arrangement with many guest rooms. Net, net - this property needs to either step up or find a new management company. The only positive I can come up with is that the front desk staff is friendly and helpful.

Wir waren hier mit Freunden um einen Geburtstag in der Nähe zu feiern. Das Hotel liegt in einer industriell genutzten Gegend etwas abgelegen. Es ist deswegen ausgesprochen ruhig in der Gegend. Das Haus ist recht neu und funktionell eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind recht gross und sauber und die Betten sind bequem. Das Frühstücksangebot war nicht sonderlich reichlich, aber ausreichend. Zum Hotel gehört ein beschrankter Parkplatz für 12 Euro, den benötigt man nicht unbedingt, es gibt in der eher einsamen Gegend auch kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten. Das Hotel wird mit minimalem Personaleinsatz betrieben, das war kein Nachteil. Alle Mitarbeiter, mit denen wir Kontakt hatten, waren ausgesprochen freundlich und hilfsbereit. Für etwas unter 100 Euro haben wir eine sehr gute Übernachtung erhalten.
