PLUS Big spacious room Clean Big spacious bathroom cum changing room Private parking lot Simple breakfast available CON Lack of security Staff a bit relaxed on enforcing new (Covid-19) normal Some room dirty and smelly (of ciggie smell) Simple breakfast (not much choice at all) Parking can be a bit limited during peak period When I arrived, staff didn't bother to enforce the self check in for contact tracing and temperature taking. So, if someone is sick or having a fever, he/she can easily enter to stay I was given a room which smelled horribly of smoking smell and the walls were tainted with dirt and smudge. If i am forced to stay in this room, i would move out ! Luckily, they gave me a totally different room (clean and no ciggie smell) after I complained. The 'reassigned' room was clean and spacious but a bit devoured of furnishing. Lighting was dimmed for my taste There was a 40” TV on wall. However, I didn't check for channels Bed was comfy enough. I brought my own pillows Air con was bad as the small aircon (I am guessing it was a 1 HP unit) could bare cope with the size of the room Bathroom was a surprise. It has a built-in changing room and ironing table/iron. I liked the toilet and shower were separated as the shower water would not wet the WC area. Toiletries such as soap,. shampoo and shower gel were provided as in 2 pairs of clean bath towels. Water pressure and hot water were adequate for a good shower. There a 'rain-shower' if you like that The biggest minus was the lack of security as one can enter the 1st floor indoor parking without any security checking. To make matter worse, anyone can enter the rooms' floors from the parking bay Breakfast was simple affair with white rice with ikan masak lemak and cried koay-teow. Adequate for quickie hit and run. Generally, staff was reasonably friendly especially the breakfast crew and the sole male house-keeper though they hesitated making guests to wear face-masks when in the hotel premise Internet speed was very bad (less than 5 mbps) though reception signal was good in my room Good for a 1 nite stay. Female guest is to be wary 'lack of security' from car park to room

Bilik bersih, view Sungai Kuantan & Masjid Negeri, siap ada balkoni boleh hi tea pepetang, best! Selesa sangat untuk kami berdua, will repeat! Food • Breakfast sabtu dan ahad tak sama, best! Walaupun pilihan sgt limited tapi yg disediakan pun sedap sangat! Nasi lemak sabtu, nasi hujan panas hari ahad siap ada nasi impit & kuah kacang. Sedap sangat! Parking lot depan lobby je, berpagar, sangat mudah nak park. Staff ramah, available 24 hrs. Ahad pagi kami jalan kaki je ke masjid negeri untuk solat sunat aidiladha, dekat dgn Kula Cakes, eh semua dekat! Jalan kaki je. Thank you Mega View Hotel Kuantan, recommended and will repeat!

lokasi sangat bagus, hanya selangkah dari pantai teluk cempedak. Berdekatan dengan bandar Kuantan. Bilik itu bagus, bersih dan selesa. Tandas dengan pancuran mandian yang baik. Satu-satunya kelemahan ialah telefon utama di sebelah katil tidak berfungsi, namun terdapat telefon lain di dalam tandas yang boleh digunakan. Adalah lebih baik jika terdapat cermin di dalam bilik itu sendiri. Tiada cermin di dalam bilik, dan setiap kali kita perlu membuat persediaan atau solek, kita perlu ke tandas untuk menggunakan cermin.

Lokasinya agak terpencil di antara kawasan perumahan (rumah kedai). Tapi, selamat je untuk parking. Tapi, ade 4 ekor anjing terus menyalak sekitar kawasan tersebut. 10 minit ke TC dan 10-15 minit ke tempat makan viral. Sangat bersih, luas untuk 4 orang, masih ada ruang untuk solat, tandas yang selesa dan saiz almari pakaian. Takde peti ais tapi boleh guna kat hotel. Hotel Bawah ialah restoran cina. Mesra penerimaan tetamu. Seterika, pengering rambut, meja kopi, peralatan mandian sudah ada.

Ruang bilik selesa sunyi Dan kedap dari bunyi luaran. Bilik bersih lengkap kemudahan bersih diri. Layanan pelanggan mesra dan cepat. Ada kemudahan lift sesuai pelanggan yang berumur. Cuma pesanan saya kepada trip visitor pertingkatkan sistem dengan hotel, semasa pendaftaran masuk kaunter nyatakan bilik sudah penuh tetapi sistem telah sahkan pembayaran. Terpaksa berunding dengan kaunter untuk dapatkan bilik lain Dan dikenakan pembayaran tambahan. Malam waktu operasi ATM pun tutup, menyukarkan pelanggan. MOHON BERHARAP PIHAK TRIP VISITOR AMBIL PERHATIAN.

Room is clean, great stay having here, a small hotel but amenities just complete, like provide iron, city view, hot shower, free wifi and easy to parking after working hour, wonderful with the price and center at the city. Easy to reach shopping mall and reach public transport Rapid Kuantan station with walking distance just 300m. Easy for me to having a stay here. Will consider to have a stay here again. Last but not least, friendly staff and beautiful lobby. Their lobby got mini scout gallery is look nice when I first time to check in.

Although a little on the pricey side per night rate, my fmly and I overall enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Colony. I was pleasantly surprised how clean and new looking this place was. Not run down at all despite having opened for about 5 years now I think. Very well maintained which made our stay very comfortable. We like how industrial and modern looking this whole place is. Water pressure in the bathroom was good, bed linen was clean, amenities were well replenished, swimming pool was rather small but clean and decent enough to keep the kids happy. One thing weird though was that we were given 2019 dated green tea sachet but it’s already 2022 now. Receptionist said it’s actually the date of manufacturing rather than the expiry date but we didn’t want to take the risk so we didn’t consume it. And the amount of soap and shampoo given were probably too little in small slim bottles. Bathroom was a little clogged after our shower. But everything else were fine and nice. I guess the sound proof was alright as there was no noisy disturbances from other rooms. So we had uninterrupted sleep. This guesthouse has two storeys with 8 rooms in total. 4 at the top and 4 at the bottom. All in all thumbs up and if given the chance and having to travel to Kuantan again we would be more than happy to be back here to stay.
