This hotel was strange. The advertising makes it look opulent, but it seems like the hotel focuses on how it looks like in social media posts but doesn’t pay attention to details. I booked a king room for three people because the listing said “contact the hotel about extra beds.” I emailed the hotel about an extra bed (twice) but they never got back to me. Upon check in, we were informed there are no extra beds so our third person had to sleep on a hard sofa. In our room, there were stains on the bedding, scuffs and chips in the paint and on furniture, and mold in the sink. The staff was helpful in bringing us fresh bedding. The next morning, trip.com and the hotel worked together to give us a room appropriate for three people. The new room was cleaner than the first room but there was still mold in the sink. The pool areas were nice to look at but not functional. The pool areas did not provide towels (they want you to bring your towel from your room, only one towel per person) and the seating around the pools was minimal. The sky pool only had two lounge style chairs. The other chairs were normal upright chairs. The recreational pool had no lounge chairs that I could see. The hotel was next to a nice mall with lots of good food, but was pretty far from central KL. The staff was polite and helpful, but I think the issue with this hotel comes from the top level management that just cares about looks but not quality. Great for Instagram, but not for an actual stay.
